This one year old ground floor condo located in the Ridgestone Condominiums, just off the 880 North I-15 freeway exit in Payson, is tastefully decorated with new everything. You will be glad you chose our homey condo instead of a cramped hotel room! Parking just outside the front door and having to climb no stairs afford easy access for all.
Top-of-the-line new beds and bedding offer a good night sleep to travelers just passing through on their way somewhere else or wanting a country escape from the busy grind of life. Two bathrooms offer more privacy than a hotel for families and friends travelling together.
Attending an event at BYU or UVU? Anyone who has ever been to an event at BYU or UVU knows that getting home afterwards can be a nightmare, particularly if you are heading north. Our condo is 20 freeway minutes away to the south - away from the congested freeway in the scenic apple tree filled countryside of Utah Valley. You will be home, relaxing or taking a dip in the beautiful pool before those headed north have even left the parking lot!
Approximately 1270 square feet of cozy, but spacious living offers amenities that only condo communities can offer. Acessible only to guests possessing a personalized key fob, a rambling clubhouse just a short walk across the lawn offers guests an amazing indoor, heated pool and hot tub, an exercise room, and a spacious, open entertaining and serving area. The entertaining and serving areas can be reserved for family events for a $100 fully-refundable deposit (reservation does not include pool, hot tub, nor exercise room) . We provide pool towels in our unit for use in the pool area. Paved basketball courts, children's playgrounds, and beautifully manicured grassy areas are located throughout the property
The living area of the condo features a large, comfortable sectional sofa and chairs placed around a fireplace and flat screen tv for viewing time or conversation. A private patio off the living room provides a place for quiet reading, viewing the spectacular mountain views, or grilling your favorite main dish.
The spacious master bedroom decorated in a fresh, Caribbean motif has a new pillow-top king mattress, private bathroom, flat screen tv, and walk-in closet. Bedroom two has a new queen, pillow-top mattress and is decorated in a chic, colorful decor. A portable crib fits neatly in the corner of this bedroom as well as in the master bedroom. Bedroom three also has a new queen, pillow-top mattress, but is decorated in a more traditional, formal decor. A portable crib and queen-sized aero bed can be used in the large master bedroom for additional sleeping needs.
The kitchen is equipped with all new appliances and everything needed for cooking and entertaining, complete with a spice rack and waffle maker. A large dining table that seats six features room for eating or playing cards and games.
A new washer and dryer, free Wi-Fi, a printer, free cable and blu-ray players provide added conveniences as you travel.
Visit the quaint, thriving downtown Payson with its mixture of old and new restaurants and stores or eat in one of the local restaurants across the I-15 Interstate from our condo. A Walmart and a scatter of shops close by fulfill your shopping needs.
A drive along the scenic Nebo Loop Byway which crosses between the cities of Nephi and Payson is a photographer's dream with many overlooks and wildlife viewing opportunities. This 38-mile byway takes about one and a half hours to complete. The brilliant fall foliage of the Uinta National Forest is hard to match anywhere in the nation. Unfortunately, the byway is closed in winter so if you miss it, you will have to plan another trip when it is open!
Twelve miles south of Payson, the Payson Lakes Recreation Area offers hiking, picnic areas, camping, and excellent fishing. Explore just miles away from the condo to find many nature-filled hours of fun and relaxation.
Seven ski resorts are a little more than an hour-drive away including Sundance, Snowbird, Alta, Brighton, Solitude, Deer Valley, and Park City. Eight LDS temples stretch from the new Payson Temple to the Salt Lake Temple in a 62-mile path along I-15. Historic sites and entertainment around Salt Lake City offer hours of fun before returning to the cozy comfort of our Payson Country Condo.
Rent this brand new Payson Country Condo and experience a uniquely relaxing time of memories in the small-town quaintness of Payson. To coin a phrase pretty famous around here: 'This is the place!'
We are Doug and Linda Stewart. After both graduating with our master's degrees from BYU, we raised three girls who have given us eight grandchildren who all now live in Utah. We were looking for a place we could escape from the heat of St. George where we live, but that was not too far away from our loved ones to join us.
Doug or Linda purchased this condo in 2014
Our choice to buy the Payson Country Condo was because we loved our years at BYU and we love attending any BYU athletic events. In addition, the condo is a chance for us to make new memories with our grandchildren in the Utah Valley that we grew to love. We hope that our condo will be a time for you, too, to make memories.
For us, this condo offered the amenities of the clubhouse which no other property did and the breathtaking views of the mountains and the new Payson Temple. The cozy, yet well-planned layout of the condo seemed perfect and we were sold at first sight. The genuine people around Payson we have met and the small-town feel of Payson was an added bonus.
And the clincher? Quick, easy access to everything BYU has to offer.
We so enjoyed our stay and found the location right off the freeway in Payson to be ideal. Shopping was close as was the ability to quickly travel anywhere in Utah Valley. The owners pay a lot of attention to detail and you can tell they had thought of everything that would be needed by their guests. I especially appreciated the thorough information that was provided ahead of time and in the condo itself to ensure we had no difficulties. Thank you!
We stayed for a few days in the cold month of January. The condo is cute and clean. It is close to the temple where our son was getting married. In the evening, it was wonderful to relax in front of a fireplace. Every room is beautifully decorated. The kitchen is fully equipped to make meals, even makings to make waffles for breakfast. A family DVD collection is provided for entertainment. The kids loved it. The owner checked to see if our needs were being met. We had all that we needed. It was a home away from home. Our deposit was refunded quite quickly after our visit. We will definitely return for another visit instead of a hotel.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The beds were super comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked and the large leather sectional in the living room gave us all plenty of space to gather together and visit. Another perk was the location-right off freeway exit.
We felt right at home here with the beautiful decorations and would happily refer this rental to a friend.
Came into town with my family for a funeral and was very happy with this home. It was very comfortable, well decorated, and had everything needed for the stay. It even had a waffle mix all ready to use. Couldn't be happier.
We had a very nice stay over Thanksgiving week. The condo was well stocked with anything we might need, including shampoo, conditioner, soap, etc., and even some supplies to make breakfast the first morning we were there. There were many thoughtful touches such as games and coloring books for the kids, and we all enjoyed them quite a bit. Everything was new and clean and easy to use. The owners were very easy to work with as well. We would definitely stay here again if we are in the area.
This was our second stay at the condo within a year's time. It's still the same beautiful place! We took the Mount Nebo Scenic Loop from Nephi to Payson and although the fall colors have passed, the view of the back of Nebo was still impressive! We look forward to staying again!
This area hosts many small-town festivals and celebrations, such as Payson's Apple Days and Springville's Art City Days. The 24th of July, a favorite local holiday commemorating Mormon Pioneers entering the Valley of the Great Salt Lake in 1847, includes parades, fireworks, and other entertainment for all ages in almost every town along the Wasatch Front.
Many cultural activities, such as live theatre, motion picture theatre, concerts, museums, are within minutes.
