''Really lovely villa. Very happy. The landlord had left us wine and some food bits which was very nice. Great location - close to beach and a short drive from shops. We went to Latski and Polis, both Lovely. Very satisfied with yours service as with owners. As I mentioned they had left us some food when we arrived and a bottle of wine. They also popped around with a bottle of wine which was very nice of them''

''Very Good villa, spacious and a nice pool. Good location, not near the “touristic areas” but still enough places for a drink or dinner. The bar opposite the villa was good for a cocktail and a milkshake. Yes your service was good, all very clear. The owner was a nice man and very helpful. All was ok'

From Polis is simple to get Latchi. Paphos. Akamas peninsula. Trodos in the forest. Kykko monastery....Love beach in front of the house. Reviewed 2 weeks ago for a stay in March 2017

Villa Alasia is an excellent well maintained property set in a quiet location as described, ideal for couples and family wanting a relaxing holiday, but near enough to get to nearby places with a car. There was a welcome pack waiting for us on arrival and the owner came the next morning to introduce himself and suggested a local car hire company Petrides which delivered and collected the car from the Villa. We only had 1 problem during our stay when a tap broke , but this was sorted immediately by the owner who even came to thank us and wish us well just before we left to go to the airport.

Restraunts nearby Santa Barbara , excellent food and staff . Lisa's place, nice authentic food but was very quiet when we visited so lacked any atmosphere. Coast tavern excellent food, but Robin who is equivalent to the front of house is a bit strange. (Just my opinion) The halfway was a bit of a walk but the food here also was very good and the owners were very friendly.

We rented Villa Alasia through LetsRentOnline.com. who provided a very professional service from start to finish. Steven the lettings manager is an absolute pleasure to deal with, nothing too much trouble. This was our first time renting a villa independently and it couldn't have gone smoother, will be recommending this villa and LetsRentOnline.com to our friends.

A superb villa in a beautiful location, highly recommended!

  • 5 of 5

Villa Alasia is so gorgeous the pictures don't do it justice, the views of the ocean and the mountains from the balconies was an absolute joy to wake up to every day!

The pool is a great size and all the air conditioned rooms are also great sizes with ample storage in all of them.

The kitchen is well stocked with everything you would need and more and the linens were more than ample for what we needed (the mid stay clean was also ideal as we were there for a fortnight).

As we were travelling with four children they loved the trampoline, swings and table tennis and the pool table was much used by the dads!

Check out Santa Barbara Resto at the end of the drive, the sunsets are beautiful and the local dishes definately worth a try.

The Local Area

Villa Alasia is situated on the coastline of Argaka, a beautiful and somewhat unspoilt Cypriot Village sandwiched between the crystal clear waters of the Mediterranean Sea and some spectacular mountains filled with pine trees.

Argaka is home to a number of traditional Cypriot restaurants, a beach bar and an Irish Bar as well as a bakery and 2 mini-markets. Many of these amenities are in walking distance of the villa or within a very short car journey. Travel a little way and you reach the bigger town of Polis.

There is plenty of activity to choose from, whether you wish to dine in one of the many restaurants, shop at some larger supermarkets, hire mountain bikes, quad bikes or just watch the world go by in the ambience of the traditional village square.

The nearby Latchi beach is renowned as one of the best on this side of the island and not as crowded as the beaches in and around Paphos itself (which can be reached by car in 30 minutes or under). Latchi beach is famous for its clear blue sea, soft white sand and a great selection of watersports which are readily available. Take one of the boat rides (or even hire your own) to the ‘blue lagoon', have a swim and/or snorkel, then come back to the pretty harbour/fishing port and have the famous ‘Fish Meze' where you will be served approx 20 dishes including some of the freshest catches of the day whilst watching the world go by.

For the more adventurous, you can enter the ‘Akamas' Nature reserve and go all the way round to ‘Lara Beach' famous for its turtles and wonderful beach. If it is unspoilt Cyprus you are looking for, this is a great area to visit. You may even venture into the nearby villages of Peristerona, Lysos and Miliou or further on to Kathikas (with its vineyards and wineries), Droushia and Panagia. Other fantastic scenery can be taken in at Cedar Valley and the Troodos mountain range where in Winter, you can even Ski!Paphos airport is 1 hour away by very good quality roads with English road signs. Visit Argaka and you won't be disappointed.
