About the property

Bramble Farm Cottages

Bramble Farm Cottages is a family run business which consists of old farm buildings that were part of Bramble Farm. Our cottages: The Old Barn, The Granary, The Dairy, The Milk Churn and The Stable are five converted buildings which are part of the Old Farm House in Church Lane.

They were built in the 1820s and were in active use as farm buildings until 1995. It was at this time the old buildings were made redundant and the Farm changed from Dairy to Beef livestock. The old Dairy buildings were no longer required for farming and so since then, have been converted into cottages, although retain alot of the original character of Bramble Farm.

Each cottage has its own individual style and charm. Our aim is to provide you with a superior level of comfort that will enable you to relax, unwind and enjoy the wonderful opportunities that a holiday in beautiful West Parley can provide. Although the original farm courtyard has been converted the fields and livestock barn are very much a working farm.

We have worked hard to ensure that our holiday cottages and facilities are excellently equipped, cosy and give you a home from home feel providing you with a holiday you will never forget.

We offer short breaks in most of the holiday cottages all year round and provide highchairs and cots if required. We regret that we do not take dogs or other pets and all holiday cottages are for non-smokers.

We offer weekly breaks in most of the holiday cottages all year round and provide highchairs and cots if required. We regret that we do not take dogs or other pets and all holiday cottages are for non-smokers.

Bramble Farm Cottages are positioned within a mile radius of Bournemouth Airport so please expect some aircraft noise.

Please be aware all bedding is provided along with bath mats and hand towels but bath towels are not provided.

Guestbook comments from the owner

The cottage was very well equipped and spotlessly clean. The beds were comfortable and the bedding was pristine, the rooms having ample storage space. Having two bathrooms was a bonus and the downstairs shower room was exceptionally spacious. The kitchen was bright and sunny and the provision of fresh bread, milk and butter - not to mention a bottle of wine- was a thoughtful touch and much appreciated. We would certainly recommend the property.

Very clean and ideal set up with renting 2 of the other houses.

We stayed here as our daughter got married and the reception was at Parley Manner. Simply superb in every way.

The bottle of wine waiting for us was a nice touch too!

Lovely Place to Stay

  • 5 of 5

We loved our stay at Bramble Farm Cottages. The cottage is situated very conveniently between Poole and Bournemouth with easy access to all roads. The cottage is charming, comfortably furnished and Matt and Lisa the owners are very responsive and helpful. My husband and I stayed there with our four older children and we found the cottage had everything we needed to enjoy a wonderful Christmas holiday. We especially appreciated all the little touches such as Christmas decorations including a Christmas tree, milk, bread , butter, soap ready when you arrived to get you started. Overall a great little cottage with everything you could want for a holiday in Dorset.

Spot in the country near Bournemouth.

  • 5 of 5

Spacious , well appointed property with a warm welcome . The only minor complaint was that the double beds were too soft for our taste . Close to beaches , adventure wonderland and enthusuiast's air museum. Pleasant childrens playground , with woodland . Good pubs and restaurants nearby.

The Old Barn

  • 5 of 5

Very good accommodation clean, tidy and well presented . The owners were very helpful over the phone and only two minutes away if you need them. The property is ideally situated for exploring the coast and the New Forest. We visited Poole Bournemouth and Swanage. We visited Burley and Brockenhurst in the New Forest. The property is down a lane and very quiet with some lovely country views. The beds were very comfortable and we all slept well. Just a couple of small observations, the description stated towels provided but there was only a couple of hand towels, you will need to take your own. The other is that the washing machine and tumble dryer are shared and housed separately. There was a welcome pack of one or two bits and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Thank you to Matt and Lisa for allowing us to share your property. I would have no hesitation in recommending this house to anyone.

Lovely renovated farm building

  • 5 of 5

Lovely building recently renovated to a high standard. Welcomed with basic necessities in house and a bottle of wine - much appreciated. Matt was extremely helpful and when we had a problem (which was entirely of our making) he came quickly and sorted it out efficiently and with good humour. Location is quiet, two semi detatched cottages but they are in the process or renovating other buildings so will be busier in the future. A 10 minute walk to a lovely pub. Only suggestion would be that they provide bath towels as this is something we normally expect in such a rental. Outside space a nice fenced patio area with BBQ - not a lot of external space if you have lively children. Would definitely stay again, clean, comfortable and well furnished.
