Cute cottage with a great location!

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I stayed at State St Cottage last week. The cottage is a cute little 2/1 with a very large basement. Since I was just my husband and I, we didn't use the basement for anything other than to use the laundry downstairs. Plenty of room for the two of use. Cute little picket fence in the backyard that allowed our golden retriever to roll around in the grass when we were home. The location worked really well for us. The house is within walking distance to downtown, 10 Barrel Brewing, Sun River Brewing, and Drake Park. We were even able to walk our paddleboards down to Drake Park and launch from there. Amenities that we enjoyed having included the hot tub, coffee maker, laundry room, and fenced backyard.

Location was wonderful! Very nice and clean.

The first night we had no heat, reply was they would be over the day, we found an electric blanket which kept us from finding a hotel for the night Owner did not mention the blanket until the next day Also there were no back yard lights, again very non responsive, this was very dangerous has we had ice on the steps owner suggested we use the solar lights from the front yard, only one light barely worked which was needed as the step on front was covered with grass Bend is wonderful, just disappointed in response from owner on safety issues

Owner's Response: Let me tell you my actions and let you judge for yourself as to whether I was responsive. The gas company was responsible for the problem as had just installed new pipe lines in the area, and although they had notified me that the gas was back on, it apparently was not. I was notified by Susan late the night they arrived. Instead of waiting for gas company to turn back on, I had my HVAC specialist out the next morning to turn the pipe line on. I also had my maintenance team out the next day to address their lighting concerns from the night before. Bend is wonderful!!!

Great little spot

  • 4 of 5

We very much enjoyed the Cottage. The dogs loved the fenced yard, we loved that the location was central to most of Bend. The kitchen is well stocked, the bed was comfy, the hot tub is wonderful and the swinging bed in the yard was a nice touch. The owner was responsive and helpful and we will certainly return given availability.

We loved the location and the quiet neighborhood. The house was well stocked and clean. The hot tub was clean and welcome on cool summer mornings.

Absolute Perfection

  • 5 of 5

The house is super cute and had everything we needed for our stay in Bend. The location is perfect! Easy to take the dog for walks in the park and into downtown for a treat. The back yard was great for doggie playtime and for us to relax at the end of the day. The owners are super responsive to any questions and very friendly. I loved my stay here and will be booking it again for next year!
