Great cabin by a relaxing creek.

  • 5 of 5

Awesome cabin by the creek. We did a weekend getaway for our 32nd anniversary and love it!! Beautifully decorated and so relaxing by the creek. Has everything you will need for your stay. We only ventured out for a short time to the town of Lansing and ate at Pie on the Mountain and would definitely recommend. Otherwise we just hung out at the cabin and relaxed. It was great. My husband did a little fishing and caught his first trout which we released back. Hope to definitely return sometime. The owners where great to deal with. Thanks for sharing your little piece of heaven with us.

Great little cabin in awesome, creekside location!

  • 5 of 5

This place is a real gem, most notably for its beautiful location -- right on a gorgeous creek. So close that you can hear the soft sounds of the water all throughout the cabin. So relaxing! The cabin adjoins a nice open area that gives you a substantial span on the creek and you have several spots where you can easily sit by the water. Across the cabin is a wide open hillside area that gives you the feel of being in the mountains and not closed in. The whole "neighborhood" is really nice & clutter-free ... and, you're definitely in a secluded, quiet area.

And, dare I not mention that my husband had some great fun fishing on the creek and caught some trout! It was so easy and we were delighted.

The inside of the cabin is just right for a couple and love the porch that overlooks the deck!

To top it off, the whole experience started off in a terrific way because the owner was so responsive, accommodating and helpful ... making our last-minute trip get off to a smooth start!

I've stayed in a lot of places via VRBO, but this place just has a charm and peacefulness about it that is really unique. We'd definitely like to return some day.

Thanks for sharing this lovely cabin experience with us!

Amazing!!!

  • 5 of 5

This was so much better than I even expected! I’ve stayed a lot of places and this was one of my favorites. Our entire stay it rained and it did not matter . We enjoyed the hot tub on the covered deck, the covered porch, the covered gazebo with swing , all in the rainy weather !!! The creek was amazing ! Hal was so nice and helpful. 5 stars for sure!

The cabin was delightful. The perfect size cabin to relax and enjoy the incredibly pristine stream.

  • 5 of 5

The hot tub on the deck was fabulous, clean, and incredibly relaxing while watching the rushing waters of the trout stream. We have not slept so well in a long time! The sound of that water is hypnotic in the best possible way. Gas fireplace was lovely. Furnishings were comfortable and clean. Nice bathroom. We have recommended this cabin to friends and family.
