Castle View. Your home from home.

Castle View is simply delightful. The 2 bedrooms are spacious and air conditioned. Lounge is lovely and cool. Bathroom is one of the best you will find with a great shower. The kitchen has all the appliances the cutlery and crockery you will need. The outside areas are perfect with the upstairs area having a beautiful plunge pool and some of the most breathtaking views. Nothing was too much trouble for the owners, Rupert and Melanie. From meeting us just outside Antequera to ensure we did not get lost on way in or simply for advice. The house was spotlessly clean and had a very friendly and welcoming feel. Would we go back. In a heartbeat. Stunning. I would recommend the house to everyone. There are some good bars on the main street, and for something a little different the restaurant at the Bull Ring is very good. Antequera is a taste of the real Spain. The locals are so friendly.

I cannot enthuse about Castle View and Antequra enough. Amazing.

We are very pleased that you caught the spirit of Antequera, pretty much straight away. Your enthusiasm was naturally rewarding for us. A lot of guests choose Antequera for its' location (access to Seville, Cordoba, Granada etc) which is warranted, and then are taken aback by the town itself after arrival. Wonderful Visit!

Castle View is a lovely home. The remodeled house is clean and comfortable, with a fully-equipped kitchen. We were a party of four adults and found ourselves spending most of our at-home time up on the deck enjoying the view of the town and the castle.

This was our first visit to Spain. We chose Antequera because of its proximity to Granada, Ronda, Seville and Cordoba. However, we loved Antequera so much that we spent most of our time in Antequera itself. We found the people to be very warm and welcoming. The variety of plazas are perfect for enjoying meals and people-watching. The town is very hilly. We walked the majority of the time and used taxis on a few occasions.

The owners of Castle View are very accommodating and were helpful with recommendations for restaurants and activities.

We will remember our stay very fondly.

Supermarkets, banks, café / bars, restaurants, are a 5 minute walk away downhill, and there is a local shop for basic food stocking 50 meters from the front door.

The bus and train stations are a 10 minute walk (Granada, Cordoba, Seville, Ronda, and Malaga etc).

The beautiful Ardales lakes (swimming, canoeing, pedal boats), and famous El Chorro gorge with the Caminito del Rey, are a 40 minute drive away.
