First time advertised. In the old part of the Historic village of Haz-Zebbug , townhouse twenty is a recently finished pied a terre bursting with character. Ideal as a holiday home for discovering the island from an authentic quaint location in the heart of Malta. Property consists of an airy open plan living, dining and kitchen on the ground floor, with a pretty small yard through which one can access a w/c. The ground floor space is finished with a mix of rustic and contemporary furnishings and accessories, being true to the Mediterranean roots. The living room features a comfy three seater, 32" LCD TV equipped with cable and a DVD player. The kitchen is equipped with all modern day appliances namely, a gas hob and oven, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and microwave. The dining table seats four.
The spiral staircase, itself a work of art, leads from the ground floor to the first floor where one finds a luxurious master suite featuring a king sized bed, stylish furnishings and fabrics. The master bedroom links to the en suite shower room, which features a larger than usual shower for more space and relaxation. t roof level there's a small room equipped with a washing machine, wash basin and worktop. This utility space leads to the front terrace, flooded with sun throughout the day, ideal for a spot of sunbathing, a glass of chilled wine, or perhaps a barbeque later during the day.
The property is air conditioned throughout.

I can't say enough great things about my stay in Malta. Rita was so kind and offered up some great suggestion for things to do, festivals that were going on and wonderful places to eat. She was also very responsive whenever I had a question.
The apartment is tucked away in a cozy Maltese town. I loved it because it was a quiet, relaxing area and it was only a 30-minute bus ride into Valletta and even faster bus ride into Mdina and Rabat. I got to have a wonderful authentic experience of staying in a local town rather than a tourist area and I enjoyed cappuccinos during the day and wine on the porch in the evenings under a beautiful blanket of stars. Lungo cafe (right down the street) also became my go-to for a delicious cappuccino. This place had all the amenities including a dishwasher, full kitchen and supplies, and a washing machine (plus, a fresh produce truck practically came to the door everyday! The strawberries were out of this world!). I never wanted to leave. Maltese hospitality is just the best! Thanks Rita for a beautiful stay and I can't wait to come back again.
The townhouse was great well furnished, clean and comfortable and situated in a small Maltese town. The local buses run very regular and we were able to get around the island without hiring a car. Spent time walking, visiting Valletta and we were lucky enough to join in the St Joseph’s Saints Day in Rabat.
Nice house of Character in a village. Very central. The house was very clean and very comfortable.

Abbiamo vissuto per una settimana in questa casa. È esattamente come appare in foto, molto bella, curata e dotata di tutto ciò che può servire. Il paese è tranquillo e la gente molto accogliente, se si vuole assaporare la vera Malta questo posto è ciò che consiglio. La fermata del bus è vicinissima e vi porterà ovunque vogliate andare ad esplorare. In fine, ma non meno importante, la proprietaria Rita che sa consigliare su tutto e cerca di fare il meglio possibile per i propri ospiti. Gentile e molto carina. Speriamo presto di ritornare!!

Wie man bei einer Grundfläche von ca. 25qm bei zwei Wohnetagen auf 90qm Fläche kommen kann, ist uns ein Rätsel. Nehmen wir mal die dritte Etage dazu, die nur von der Waschmaschine und der Terrasse in Anspruch genommen wird und kleiner ist als die Grundfläche kommen wir maximal auf 70 qm Gesamtfläche.
Das Erdgeschoss wo sich die Wohnküche befindet ist sehr dunkel, nur kleine Oberlichfenster, es gibt eine Glastür zu einem Lichtschacht von dem eine kleine Toilette abgeht der auf dem Foto sehr gut ausgeleuchtet scheint, aber nicht wirklich Licht in die Etage bringt.
In dieser Etage fühlten wir uns immer wie eingesperrt da es keine Aussicht nach draußen gibt.
Im Grunde fehlt es bei dem Objekt an so vielen kleinen Dingen, man sollte zum Beispiel nicht auf Schimmel allergisch reagieren. denn an den Wänden gibt es im ganzen Haus Ausblühungen und Wasserschäden.
In der Küche ist der Herd nicht befestigt, so dass er beim Öffnen der Tür nach vorne kippt und einem fast vor die Füße fällt.
Das Geschirr war sehr spartanisch vorhanden, ob Teller oder Tassen es gibt von allen genau 4 mal + 2 Glastassen die wir spendiert haben, kein Topflappen, keine elektrische Kaffeemaschine, keine Eierbecher oder Geschirrhandtuch usw.
Das Schlafzimmer im 1 Stock sieht aus wie auf den Bildern zu sehen ist.
Das Interessante ist aber das was man nicht auf den Fotos sieht und das ist viel Staub unter dem Bett ein großer Wasserschaden oben im Zimmer.
Das Kopfteil des Bettes muss man mit äußerster Vorsicht genießen, damit es nicht aus der Wand reißt. Das Bett ist für unsere Begriffe viel zu weich, aber das ist ja Geschmacksache.
Das Bad ist modern eingerichtet, mit den üblichen kleinen Schimmelflecken in den Ecken die es anscheinend in jeder Ferienwohnung und Hotel gibt.
Im zweiten Stock befindet sich die Waschmaschine und die Terrasse.
La casa è esattamente come presentata nelle foto. Molto confortevole, curata e funzionale.
La posizione è strategica per i vari spostamenti in visita dell'isola, collagata a 10 minuti dal Capolinea delle linee autobus e dalla capitale, la Valletta, con linee dirette. La proprietaria Signora Rita persona cordiale e disponibile.

Budget Airline Vueling flies from Madrid to Malta 3 times a week,Italian airline Volare 4 times a week and airline Norwegian.no 3 times a week. From Malta International airport to the apartment it takes 25 minutes by car.
The historic village of Haz-Zebbug or Città Rohan is one of the oldest towns in Malta. The Parish Church is dedicated to Philip of Agira and the feast is celebrated on the 2nd Sunday of June, although the actual feast day falls on the 12th day of May. The name of the town literally means "olives" in Maltese; it derives from the large olive groves that stood in and around the current location of the church and the centre of the town.
Haz-Zebbug is an ideal base from where to explore the Island and all it has to offer. There are many historic sites, museums, nightlife, beaches and sports facilities close by, thus car hire is recommended. ItIts neighbouring villages/towns include Attard, Rabat and Mdina - the Silent City - a gem of architecture, art and history.
. Mosta Dome famous for its Basilica is also nearby. For the golf enthusiasts the Marsa Sports Club is only 5 minutes away by car. Those wishing to visit Valletta, there's an efficient bus service running from Valletta to Haz-Zebbug and vice versa.
