Our sweet and comfortable cottage is the perfect escape for a relaxing weekend or a fun country festivous. Just 10 miles from Leesburg, sitting on a half acre, surrounded by beautiful mountains, wineries, breweries, old town shopping, lovely restaurants, canoeing and scenic hiking venues.
This home features a first floor master suite, luxury amenities such as a pillow top queen bed in the master, down comforter, dual shower heads and heated floors in the master suite. There are two additional bedrooms upstairs, 1 furnished with twin beds, the other with a queen bed, these rooms share a beautifully renovated full bath upstairs.
The kitchen is gorgeous and comes well equipped. We've stocked it with all the basic tableware, pots, pans and utensils needed to cook up a savory country breakfast. Complimentary coffee and tea is provided, along with a guide of where to eat and what to do in Western Loudoun County.
We are committed to providing a clean and comfortable getaway for our guests. Come, enjoy, relax.
My husband and I are Loudoun County natives. We have 2 boys, both in college. Brian owns a construction and remodeling business, and I run an interior design firm. After owning this property in Round Hill for 9 years, we were delighted to finally be able to complete a thoughtful and thorough renovation... We are so happy to share this lovely home with you!
Jennifer Jenkins purchased this house in 2005
We are so lucky to have found this place. It's comfortable and beautufully renovated and furnished. It's a great location for day trips to Washington, DC, Civil War historic sites, or the Norther Virginia countryside. The shower in the first-floor bathroom is really nice with two shower heads. Jennifer was great about sending us info before we arrived, so the place was easy to find and access. Overall, it was fabulous!
I'm so glad we chose to stay there. Charming and cozy. Very clean. It exceeded our expectations. Definitely, would stay there again. I was able to relax. The kitchen was well equipped. The beds were comfortable. I have back issues and didn't have a problem. Wi-fi connection was good. Unlike hotels where sometimes it is very slow. My son was able to get schoolwork done online for college. Very close to Patrick Henry College.
The house was perfect! Cute, comfortable, and a great place for a long weekend with friends. The decor was very well done. Jennifer, the owner, was very accommodating and responsive. We will definitely recommend this place to others!
Our son and new daughter in law were married in Leesburg, VA, just about 15 minutes from this amazing little town on the registry of historic places. We had family in from throughout the Midwest to share this gem of a house with us. The weather was amazing too. What a gift! The procedures for getting into the house and finding everything inside were easy and convenient. The house is very easy to find and has a grocery store about 25 steps across the street and a great little breakfast diner a half a block walk. Very reasonable too! Space and amenities are fantastic, as we were all very comfortable and had plenty of room! The amenities should include an iron and ironing board, as we would not have brought along an iron, had we known. The convenience of good coffee and the literature for finding area places was also great. We want to recommend some area attractions: Bluemont Vineyards and Dirt Farm Brewery are about 10 minutes west and have a gorgeous view and good beverages! Bogati Vineyards is even closer. A short drive north and east to West Virginia is worth it, especially Harper's Ferry National Park and Shepherdstown, where there is cool little French Bistro in main town. We also enjoyed the wine at Hillsborough, Breaux, and Doukenin Vineyards, all within 30 minutes. Best meals we had were at Anthony's, excellent pastas , both northern and southern Italian. But their pizza is not the best. Two places recommended by the hostess, Ms Jenkins, IJ Canns and WK Hearth, both in Purcellville, were quite good. We held our Rehearsal Dinner at Magnolias at the Mill. Highly recommend! This location is so central to the region and wasn't bad for getting people back and forth to Dulles, and a couple of side trips into the city and to Alexandria, VA. Overall, a marvelous and perfect place to send off our newly married family!
We had a great stay in Round Hill. This property was convienently located in beautiful Loudoun County, very clean, updated and well-maintained. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was fully functioning. We had 6 adults who slept comfortably on our trip to a family wedding. We will definitely recommend this property for future visits to the region.
