A sprawling gulffront house with 5 bedrooms, a new heated pool, and a spa, Brightmore House is ideal for a multiple-family getaway or a reunion of family or friends. Its only drawback: Because it’s so fabulous, you may never want to leave!
The appropriately named great room, like most of the bedrooms, opens up onto an expansive balcony that overlooks the sugary sands and the Gulf of Mexico. Furnished with chaises, gliders, tables, and chairs, the balcony gives you a front-row seat to the fiery sunsets over the gulf and to the dolphins and manatees swimming among the boats.
With a brand new heated private pool, this lovely 5 bedroom beach front home is HUGE! Each floor has sliding glass doors that walk out to large sun decks overlooking the gulf.
Slide open the glass doors and let the salt-scented breezes perfume the great room, which is furnished for maximum comfort and elegance alike. The 3 oversize couches provide room for everyone (and then some!) to gather together to watch a favorite movie on the HDTV. Want to host a poker game? A separate area of the room has its own games table. Other spaces where you can curl up with a good book, surf the web via the free wifi, or play a game with the kids abound. The great room offers as much togetherness or privacy as you want!
The dining area table can easily seat 6 people, and there’s room for several more at the adjacent breakfast bar. Or you can bring the feast outdoors: The lower-level patio has its own luxe dining table beside the pool and beneath a roof so that you can enjoy lunch even amid the midday sun. The patio has a grill as well, perfect for barbecuing any fish you reel in… or hamburgers and steaks, for that matter.
If you have more-elaborate culinary plans, you’ll adore the new updated kitchen. Not only is it a beautiful space to spend time in, but it’s equipped with everything you could need to prepare even a holiday feast: dual ovens, a full-size refrigerator/freezer, a range, a microwave, and plenty of smaller appliances, pots and pans, prep tools, and tableware--plus the all-important dishwasher.
Because there’s a bathroom for each bedroom, you could argue that each bedroom is a master bedroom. But the largest of the rooms is easily as spacious as many a big-city apartment! In addition to a king-size bed, a wealth of storage, a TV, and a seating area, it has two sets of doors that open onto its own beachfront balcony.
Bedroom two has a queen-size bed and TV. Bedroom three has a king sized bed, TV, and a door that opens up to the balcony. Each of the remaining 2 bedrooms is furnished with a pair of twin beds and, yes, its own TV, and one of these bedrooms has direct access to the balcony as well.
All 5 bathrooms, as well as the powder room on the main floor, are designed to the same high standards as the rest of Brightmore House, with beautiful tiling, plenty of light, and vanities with loads of storage. Even the laundry room, with its full-size washer and dryer along with a desk, is a lovely space in which to spend time!
But why linger in the laundry room when you could be swimming in the pool, lazing in the hot tub, or lounging on the deck? The pool area is adjacent to the beach, so you can spend entire days outdoors in or by the water. To prevent you from tracking sand into the house, there’s a handy outdoor shower.
Not only is the beach your backyard, but you’re also within walking distance of Doc’s Beach House, a legendary local hangout for food and drink. While you’re there, you can rent jet skis, paddleboards, and sailboats or book a parasailing session.
A few miles farther afield is Lovers Key State Park, a must-visit for anyone who wants to see turtles, marsh rabbits, seabirds, and manatees in their natural environs while hiking, biking, canoeing, or kayaking. Mini golf, Everglades Wonder Garden, restaurants, and shops are just a short drive away as well.
Then again, you could happily while away your stay at Brightmore House itself, with its wealth of amenities inside and out. Experience it for yourself: Book your stay today!

Family of 8 stayed at Brightmore for Thanksgiving week. Location, beach and pool area were great. Plenty of room to be together and still have "space". Baths were nice and beds comfortable. Views from deck amazing. House was poorly maintained. Kitchen dishes and utensils were dirty- required washing before use. Kitchen ware was just thrown into cabinets. Kitchen drawers were dirty with debris of dead bugs. Pool was NEVER serviced in week we were there and had sand in it. Price quoted on web page was $2000 less than actual rental with lots of extra fees. I have rented at least 15 VRBO's in Europe and US, this was not a positive experiance for a premium priced property.
This past March I rented the Brightmore house for our spring break. We had a total of 9 people stay in the home and it was just awesome. Everyone had their own bed to sleep in and our college aged daughter loved having her own private bath. The home is even better in person then you see in the pictures. It truly exceeded our expectations for the week. We cooked out almost every evening grilling fresh seafood and the setup was perfect. The pool and hot tub are a fantastic way to wind up a day on the beach. The home is conveniently located to all of the action on Bonita Springs Beach, but has a very private feel as well. It is also close to a shopping center and other restaurants in the area, so trips to the super market are manageable and don't waste hours of your time. The views are fantastic and sunsets even more so. My only recommendation would be to upgrade the pillows in the beds, but other then that the home is so well equipped for whatever you might need. The steps up to the house are manageable, but if you have physical limitations it can be a challenge to navigate. I would definitely rent this property again!
