Annual family Trip. First time going to Red Lodge!!

  • 5 of 5

We loved this property. There was so much room for the younger kids to play both in and outside. The grown ups had plenty of space to hang out too. The beautiful sound of the rushing water behind the home was like food for the spirit. A very minor down fall for us was we had so many cooks and the cooking area was not big enough for all of us. We decided next year families will rotate cooking and that issue will be resolved.

Only a couple things were missing to make this home the perfect rental....we love having a hot tub to come to at night when we have been climbing and hiking so we were sad this property did not have that available. We are quite spoiled as all the other properties we have rented in the past had that amenity. The lack of air conditioning was a little bit of an issue during the day. The good thing is there is so much to do a person is really not at home much.

If you ever get to Red Lodge this home is the perfect place for larger families. You will never get tired of the beauty surrounding the home and area. We loved the hiking, shopping, and fabulous eating places in Red Lodge so much. Bogart's is well know for their food and drinks and they were every bit as good as people said they were. We plan to come back again.

See you next time!!

Great location! Very clean and plenty of space for a large group. The house is well stocked with everything you need. Numerous outdoor seating areas...no need for lawn chairs. We enjoyed it! Thank you!

Wondeful cabin, beautiful location.

  • 5 of 5

We loved our stay here. Plenty of room in clean well appointed cabin. Property is beautiful. Kids loved fishing in ponds and just playing outside. I enjoyed coffee on the deck each AM, watching and listening to nature. Red Lodge is charming. Great access to Beartooth as well as hiking in the area. (We came in summer.) Cabin was clean and we loved the game room. Lots of space to relax and visit. Outdoor spaces were wonderful as well. A true home away from home.

We had a wonderful time in Montana at the perfect place for our family!

  • 4 of 5

The property was absolutely gorgeous. The home is nestled in a valley surrounded by fish ponds and the sound of a rushing river that you can't see until you walk down to it. The older home we stayed in had many updates and was very pleasant. The accommodations fit our needs perfectly with room for everyone. The kitchen has just about everything you can think of. The dishes are plentiful, the fridge is nice and big, and while the kitchen is small the seating at the tables accommodated us all. My husband used the "out of the way" game table for his temporary office space, setting up his computer for use anytime day or night. Speaking of games....lots are available in the cabinet. Everyone, young and old, enjoyed the downstairs ping pong and foosball tables. We didn't fish...but, we wanted to and could have if we had had poles. We loved the sectional that everyone could pile on and enjoy a movie as well as charge a few phones at the same time, since it had plugs in the console, and you can kick the recliners back on both ends. The owner was quick to respond to any needs or questions we had. Everything was labeled throughout the house which made it easy to work from Wi-Fi to light switches to heating and cooling. This was a great place to stay for our family. We chose it because it accommodated us and it happened to be very close to the ranch property that my son's wedding was on. We are from Texas, but our new daughter-in-law is from Montana, and the family ranch is right down the road. Beautiful wedding, beautiful place, and we all had a great time. Thanks for sharing your home with us!!!

A great place for family and friends to gather and enjoy the MT outdoors

  • 5 of 5

The cabin was plenty large enough for our group of two families + boy friends and a few other friends. (We could have slept several others.)

It's probably the closest rental available to the Red Lodge Mountain Ski Resort (the purpose of this trip was to ski & snowboard).

The cabin has enough room for groups to be separate if they want, but also allows everyone to gather in different areas - the foosball table and the pingpong table were a big hit, bringing everyone together in the evening.

Due to extremely cold weather in the area, we were very nervous about being on the ski hill (highs forecast in negative temps), so we contacted the owner and he graciously allowed us to delay our arrival three days so we could enjoy excellent weather.

Even though the cabin is very close to the ski hill, you're still only about four miles from downtown Red Lodge and some great places to eat like the Red Lodge Pizza Company (a place we've enjoyed many times).

We will definitely return!

A remarkable Montana Experience!

  • 5 of 5

My family and I had the pleasure to stay in this gorgeous Montana cabin on the weekend of September 17th. First of all, we were blown away by the location; the dwelling is nestled in a beautiful valley, completely engulfed in tall pines and surrounded by lakes and a rocky stream. As we checked the place out, we were struck by its cleanliness and how well it had been updated. As my kids explored the trout-filled lakes and creek, my wife and I grabbed a glass of wine on the deck and sat there utterly speechless. Having just left the city hours ago, here we were, seeming on the set of "A River Runs Through it".

It seems like every little little detail was tended to: great signage and explanation of services, ample fresh linens, board games, a ping pong table, satellite tv, and the list goes on and on.

For the first time in a very long time, our electronics stayed mostly off. Our family was exploring the gorgeous grounds, fishing, and simply taking it all in. We saw deer, rabbits, squirrels, and even a moose! To top it off, on our last day we saw a black bear high on the mountain side turning over rocks.

It was a weekend our family will never forget. We highly, highly recommend this rental to anyone who wants a true taste of Montana mountain living.
