We stayed in the 1bedroom apartment, it is done to the highest spec possible.
We stayed over Easter 16, for a mini snowboarding break.
It took 2 hours from Malpensa Airport, which flew as the views from the dual carriage way were impressive.
Apartment is a little hard to find, but just call the hosts and they'll come and meet you.
Set in a little village, up a little hill over looking Aosta the view was amazing.
You can walk into Aosta in about 15mins or drive to the cable car station within 10mins.
Myself and partner can not highly recommend this place enough.
Pila for snowboarding is a great resort too, gondola takes 20mins to get to Pila itself.
We loved this place and this part of Italy, we will definitely come back. X
The apartment was clean and appeared to be totally reburished with love by the owner! It is a short car ride to town (2 minutes ) or a pleasant walk on a nice day! It has mountain views from the porch and has everything you need including a washer and separate dryer, so you can do all your laundry! We have stayed at a few Homeaway apartments and was certainly one of the best values when you include the price! If you are going to Aosta, you should stay here. The only negative is that there is no air conditioning but we opened the door and the cool mountain air was just fine!
Wow... I cannot recommend Guido's apartments in Aosta enough! We rented both for a total party size of 5 and they worked out perfectly. They have so much personality and charm, and are immaculately maintained. The grounds themselves are beautiful too. We walked down to Aosta village each day, it's about a 15 minute walk that was appreciated after the incredible meals we were enjoying in town. Guido was very easy to coordinate with and even offered us wine and food on our arrival. A super special experience! Grazie Guido!
We had a wonderful week with our 16 year old son. The owners, Sandra and Guido are very welcoming, helpful and thoughtful. They provided many little extras that made our time even more memorable. The view from the decking area to the mountains opposite is spectacular. A lot of useful information is provided, or can be found by a 15 minute walk to the town. The bed was very comfortable and the kitchen appliances are of such high quality that our new kitchen at home looks somewhat dated. Lots to do in the area, many can be reached by bus if needed. We loved the rafting, the local walks and the view of the Matterhorn from the lake, a 15 minute walk from Cervinia. We would thoroughly recommend staying with these lovely hosts in such a comfortable, spotlessly clean apartment. We had a terrific time.
The mountain view from the apartment was spectacular, the apartment was beautiful and well appointed ,and the owners ,Guido and Sandra, were very accommodating and gracious. This rental comes highly rated by this reviewer!!!!
We enjoyed staying in Sandra and Guido's very clean and spacious apartment. Very friendly atmosphere. Located in a beautiful Aosta Valley. It is a great as a base for hiking, and other mountain activities. Close to many restaurants and organic food stores.
