About Ryan Bernholz

Ellen And Ryan purchased the farm in 2010 with the idea of getting their kids out of suburbia and into the country for the weekends and holidays. We felt that fresh air and farm chores were positive for the kids and adults.

Wonderful Family Vacation

  • 5 of 5

Our family of eight adults and 8 children had a terrific time at Twin Spruce Farm this August. The house was clean and there was plenty of room for all of us to enjoy our stay. The children loved visiting the farm animals and horses. Milo was a special treat for the smaller children. The caretakers, Adam and Madeline were there to help us in every way. The pool was clean and well kept. The surrounding area was beautiful with plenty of things to do. We would definately recommend Twin Spruce Farm.

A Wonderful Vacation

  • 5 of 5

This home is unique, lovely, large and comfy. The grounds are beautiful and well kept. Our family was celebrating my twins 30th birthday with their husbands and my 70th year of life. We also had my 10 month old grandson with us. The place was perfect for all of us.

We did two wineries: Whitecliff and Robibero. We picked veggies and berries at Kelder's farm. We usually came back and jumped into the pool in the afternoons.

We were surrounded by many great restaurants: The Spy, and A Tavola. We ate out two nights and BBQed two nights. On the last day we had breakfast at Lydia's Cafe before the ride home. We had great meals in these 3 places.

Madeline and Adam were perfect caretakers. If we had a question they immediately Txt me back. Thanks.

We were allowed to visit the working farm. My grandson got a chance to sit atop of a horse.

We were given a delicious dozen of farm fresh eggs. We bought 2 dozen to bring back to the city.

Our 4 night stay was thoroughly enjoyable. I would recommend this place to my friends.

Thank you Ryan for sharing your home with us.

Fabulous family-friendly farmhouse

  • 5 of 5

This is a beautiful renovated farmhouse with amazing pool. We are three families and stayed here with five children ranging in age from 2-5. The kids loved the farm and the caretakers Madeline and Adam are kind and accommodating. Adam and Lucas gave us a wonderful tour of the working farm. Farm fresh eggs were provided for us. Plenty of room for all of us and the front yard with fire pit was perfect at night for s'mores and stargazing. The entire house is immaculate and the kitchen is professional grade allowing us to cook all meals easily and comfortably. This place is perfect in every way for a nesting vacation, which is exactly what we wanted.

Beautiful, welcoming and relaxing !

  • 5 of 5

We met at the farmhouse for my 60th birthday. There were 8 adults and 2 toddlers. The house is very spacious and perfectly beautiful. The caretakers, Adam and Madeline were so helpful and friendly. It is a working farm/ ranch which raises cattle and chickens. There are also at least a dozen horses in the property most of which have been adopted by Julie who is the riding instructor and trainer. We were welcomed to pet and feed the horses and watch all the activities.... A huge hit with both toddlers and the adults!

Our family's stay was lovely. We were very comfortable. Each of the 3 families had their own wing where we couldn't hear anyone else. There were so many toys for the kids. The kitchen was amazing. The kids liked watching the animals. Ryan was so prepared with a PDF of great info. Ryan was very helpful as were the onsite staff. The area was some fun and cute things to do like farms, restaurants, county fairs etc. We were very pleased and would return.
