Nice cabin with plenty of room and great location

Cabin is very convenient for those interesting in the Kenai area. Comfortable living space with good furniture and room for your gear. Owner is friendly and helpful. Stayed here twice and had great time both visits.

A newer high quality cabin that has the rustic AK log cabin look and all the modern conveniences

  • 5 of 5

Very nice cabin that is walking distance from Kenai fishing and just a few miles from Sterling. I would stay here again and recommend to anyone.

Perfect Cabin!

From the logs and the setting and the trees and the moose that greeted us everything was very nice!! Walk down to the end of the street and turn right and you are at the Kenai river!! The barbecue on the deck is nice and everything in the cabin worked perfect!! Will stay again!! Thanks

Excellent cabin, great location, VRBO communications could improve.

  • 4 of 5

We really enjoyed our stay at this cabin. Cabin is in great conditions with nice furnishings. Location is close to other activities. I highly recommend the cabin.

Negatives were VRBO, large security deposit ($5000), and communication with owner. My reservation information was never posted on VRBO website so I had to rely on emails from the owner. Security deposit requirements or expensive insurance as an alternative were much higher than other places I have booked through VRBO or AirBNB - at one time I got an invoice for a $10,000 security deposit. I never received access code and had to track it down after arriving.

Owner's Response: Guest have 2 options to pay the same deposit: Pay $5000 deposit or buy the damage insurance option for $99. Each guest is sent the key code a month before their stay. The code was sent to the guest but they did not receive it for some reason.

Kenai cabin is a great place to stay

  • 5 of 5

Our family has used this property 2 consecutive years and have been extremely happy with the accommodations. It is located on a quiet street - but you can hear the rapids of the river. Beds and linens are of high quality. Lots of cooking utensils. Full size range and refrigerator. Nearby property manager to assist if problems arise. Will definitely stay here again.

Awesome Cabin and Awesome Location

  • 5 of 5

Loved this place when we first drove up to it but the best was yet to come. When we went inside it was already providing us with a great Alaskan experience. Love this cabin inside and out.

Brian provided with help and answered questions promptly. Have not met him in person but already consider him a friend that I will be talking to year after year as we return.

Wish we could keep this place a secret but I know Brian wants to share it with others.

Thank You for sharing it with us!
