This was one of the most enjoyable times my family and I ever had up North. Everyone was fantastic, the property was clean, lake was great, boat was super...It was a 10 out of 10. The staff on site treated us just like family, way to go!

A peaceful and tranquil setting for a relaxing rest!

  • 4 of 5

We had a great time at this cabin in the woods! Joe and his family were welcoming and accommodating and the cabin was clean and set on a perfect peaceful lake in the middle of a national forest. We were able to bring our dog with us and were able to spend a little time on their pontoon. We would happily return!

Great family cabin on Teal Lake

  • 5 of 5

We have been coming up to O'Conners Back O Beyond Resort for years and love it! Great fishing from the dock, beautiful lake views, swimming area, kayaks, a small park area for the kids. If you are looking for a place to relax and take in nature, this is it! We will be going again next year, no doubt!

Back O Beyond Delight!

  • 5 of 5

What a great time we had at Teal Lake. Owner Joe O'Connor was so warm, personable & friendly. He shared how this property had been in his family. They are a long time Chicago area family who have owned this resort for many years. We dont go anywhere without our golden retriever & dogs are allowed here. The lake was close to the cabin & our dog would give this property a five paw rating for the water! You can rent a great rental motor for the included fishing boat or bring your own. Joe mapped the lake for us & at times the fishing was really hopping with pan fish (it was a warm mid Aug when we were there). Make sure you provision as stores & restaurants are a drive away. Internet access is not in the cabin, but you can access from their lodge. The cabin is very spacious & the screened in porch is great to hang out & view the lake. Kitchen well equipped. Cabin had good ventilation with plenty of windows. Satellite tv onsite. Firepit on premise. They empty the outside trash receptacle & they recycle. Full size bed could be more firm. It was fun getting to know Joe, his sister & other family members. Great breakfast place nearby- The Robins Nest. Go for this rental- relaxing, quiet & a true Northwoods experience.
