Summer and fall for hiking, biking, golfing, swimming, and beaching; winter and spring for downhill or cross country skiing, snowshoeing, and winter beach storms. The beauty, solitude, and spectacular views make this house a very special place to visit.
The Guest House is centrally located to anywhere you want to go - Cape Flattery, Sol Duc Hot Springs, Hoh Rain Forest, Lake Crescent, Marymere Falls, Salt Creek State Park, Hurricane Ridge, Port Townsend - all just a short drive away, and there's a 9 hole golf course just minutes away from your vacation oasis. Also, the Olympic Discovery Adventure Trail is only a short walk from your back door!

If you love the Sequim Lavender Festival, it's only a 40 minute drive from here and you don't have to pay the inflated rates in Sequim. So come enjoy the festival, then return to a little piece of heaven and tranquility!
COMFORT! COMFORT! COMFORT! You will have it here, guaranteed - 800 square feet of it, all on one level. A beautiful, quiet location backed up to State Land, where you'll enjoy views of the shipping lanes of the Strait of Juan de Fuca (cruise ships, nuclear subs, etc.) all the way across to Sook Harbor, British Columbia. And you won't believe the stars on a clear night sky!
Tranquility is the name of the Walkers' Guest House. Total relaxation is here. Although the Guest House is just across the way from the estate's main house, the owners jealously guard your privacy yet are available for questions, if needed. The large deck is equipped with rocking chairs for your pleasure, so after you've enjoyed the many recreational activities in the area, sit back, relax, enjoy the quiet and solitude, and being a world away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Now you know why we enjoy life here, and we LOVE sharing it with others!
My name is Radar. My owners think they own this property, but I pretty much call the shots! My owners are retired and live here on the property with me, but I make sure they don't bother you!
Milo and Terri purchased this cottage in 1992
We chose to live here after searching five different states to retire to, and realized that this area was the one that always felt like we were coming home. Although the Guest House is on the same property with us, we jealously guard your privacy and try very hard not to disturb you. In fact, you may not see us at all unless we happen to step out at the same time and say howdy! We built the Guest House prior to building the main house, lived there for two plus years until the main house was completed, and it has since evolved into a vacation rental over the years. We absolutely love sharing the beauty of the Peninsula with folks new to the area.
We fell in love with this property and it's peaceful feeling long before we knew it had a wonderful view of the Straits with all the shipping activity. Once the view was revealed, oh what a bonus surprise!
for giving us the opportunity to fully enjoy the beauty and restorative tranquility of this area. We have had two and a half days hiking these wonderful mountains and our explorations wouldn't have been half as successful without you and this wonderful Guest House. It reminds me of my family cabin - a place I could always count on for peace and 'unplugged' comfort. thank you for offering your wonderful home to those of us with a little wanderlust and a need for reconnecting to the great outdoors!
Have a wonderful holiday season and may you continue to be prosperous and provide others joy....

My husband and I stayed in the guest house in early Sept 2015 and it was absolutely outstanding. It was bright and cheerful and spotlessly clean. Absolutely everything for our comfort was provided. I have never stayed in a unit that was as well-equipped as this one. The view from the deck is spectacular and there is a nice little hiking path behind the house. It was within easy access to many lovely locations. The owners were friendly and helpful, but never intrusive. I would highly recommend this accommodation.
The house is quite and comfortable. It has everything you need, including a good movie selection.
Overall, a great place out on the Oly. Pen.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the clean and comfortable guest house and found Terri and Milo to be extremely accommodating and full of helpful suggestions for excursions and places to eat. Their guest house is very quiet and restful and we enjoyed talking with Terri and Milo as we shared experiences. We would return there in a heartbeat.
I found the Walker Guest house to be very bright with all the windows, which is important near the rain forest. The photos on the website did not necessarily indicate the value of all the windows for letting in nature light. I was impressed that a lot of thought was given to stocking the house with essential kitchen items and presto logs for the wood stove. It was a cozy place for two people. The owners respected your privacy and it was like they were not there. Milo was very willing to help solve any issues and the guest house was well maintained.
Comfortable. Well appointed. Great location. We stayed for three nights with our one and a half-year-old daughter. Everything we needed is there including soap for the laundry and dishwasher. We had read that they were available if anything else was needed, yet really nothing was. We will likely stay here again for sure. Outside of a wave through the window, we never met Terry or Milo, so next time I'll try to be more friendly.we explored the beach and tidal pools which were very close. Olympic national Park was at least 1 hr but still not bad and pretty the whole way. There was a surprise good view from the living room that made hanging out at home very pleasurable, Plus walkable access to the Olympic discovery Trail outback. Next time I'll bring my trail bike as well. Thank you very much.
We thoroughly enjoyed staying at the Walker Guest House. The design of this house is wonderful. Lots of natural light, larger windows, windows on 2 sides of every room, high cathedral ceiling, 2 full bedrooms, a beautifully decorated living room. The washing machine came in handy for cleaning hiking clothing. The kitchen was well equipped and had nice appliances, including a great coffeemaker. The view of the Strait of Juan de Fuca from the living room was the icing on the cake! Although the house is a bit off the beaten path, it's about as centrally located as one could desire for visiting the various sights of the Olympic Mts., Lake Crescent and the coast. We would gladly stay there again. The owners have taken excellent care of this house.
All of the sites/areas mentioned in the Guest House description are must see, plus many more not listed, so happy exploring!
