Blacksmith Lodge is a large modern luxurious ski in / ski out town house with stunning views over the Monashee Mountains. (Property immediately borders the run that links to Plaza, Ridge Rocket and Snow Ghost lifts or 200m walk to link to the Gondola lift run). It is perfectly located within easy walking distance of everywhere you would want to go – town center, lifts, restaurants, bars, Happy Valley facilities etc.
There is a large private outdoor hot tub for your enjoyment which along with a nice glass of wine is a perfect muscle relaxant after a wonderful day on the slopes, and prior to dinner prepared from the beautiful gourmet kitchen or a local restaurant. There is also a large stainless steel BBQ on the rear patio. You may prefer to relax on the large leather sofas in front of the gas fire and watch a movie ahead of another busy day on the slopes.
There are two master bedrooms, one with king bed and one with queen bed, both have en-suite bathrooms. The king master has a electric/gas fire. The third bedroom has a comfortable L shaped 5 seater sofa and a single and twin bunk beds. This bedroom also has an en-suite bathroom.
The Den has a workstation and computer with a view down the mountain from where you can catch up with emails and any other matters where contact with the real world is necessary. The den also has a single chair bed.
The property is immediately next to one of the runs so ski in / ski out could not be simpler. Ski and boarding equipment is stored in the garage from where you can access the run. Access to the property can be made via the garage electronic key pad which enables easy access with ski equipment and avoids the potential of lost keys.
I live in the Cayman Islands with my family who all love to snow ski. I have enjoyed skiing and snowboarding all my life and love to see my kids enjoying it too. Having visited Big White numerous times it made perfect sense to invest in a property there.

The owner is a keen skier and snowboarder and chose this resort and property carefully with a focus on the spacious luxurious accommodation, the quality and quantity of snow at this resort, ski in / ski out access, very limited lift queues, easy walking access to all evening entertainment that you may want to enjoy together with the general ambiance of the resort.

This is a great unit, it is spacious and great for 2 couples + 3 or 4 singles. All 3 bedrooms have ensuite full baths (this is rare and makes things so much more private). The kitchen is very well equipped with modern appliances, utensils and cookware. Ski on (to the ridge rocket) is maybe 10 steps. The communication with the owner is extremely quick, efficient and professional. I would stay here again without any reservations.
We had a great stay here. Couldn't be much better placed - you ski to the driveway on your way in and <1 min walk to get on the slope to a lift when you leave. House is well equipped, clean and easily held our group of 5 adults. Would definitely stay here again if back for more Big White powder.
This property is perfect! Location is great- short walk from the village, the set out is nice with plenty of space, the hot tub was the best! It was great to have all of the cooking utensils provided, including some spices :) we will definitely stay here again. Thanks guys!
Excellent location to stay - it is right of the main road so it is easy to find when you are driving into the village.
House is clean and cozy and is fully equipped with everything one might need while on vacation - all is left to bring is the food. Fits 7 easily and comfortably with privacy for all.
Location is awesome and makes it easy ski-in/ski out, as well as very close to the skating rink and tubing park below. about 5 min walk by foot from the village center.
An excellent place to stay. We were 4 adults, 2 boys and could not have asked for better accommodation.
Access was simple, a 100m walk with skis to the ski run that ran to the Gondola.
There was nothing wrong at all, and the views and snow made it so much better. Definitely plan on coming back ..
