Fantastic for our family

  • 5 of 5

Weloved this house. It was lovely and comfortable for our family, with plenty of after skiing activities for the kids. Close enough to Targhee, Jackson, and a myriad of Nordic trails; located in a very quiet, family oriented neighborhood. The kitchen was well stocked, and the towels and linens were great quality. The garage made our ski trip even better. A great place to dry out! The owner was quick to handle any issues we might have had, and was very pleasant to deal with. We would absolutley stay again!!

Great location, quiet neighborhood, nice house

  • 5 of 5

The house was clean and beds comfortable, the pictures represented the actual space accurately. The owner was very responsive and was easy to communicate with. We appreciated how well stocked the kitchen was and played with many of the provided games and movies. Overall it was a great experience and we would stay again.

Family vacation

  • 3 of 5

Nice place but found cobwebs in all the windows and a cockroach in the jet of the jacuzzi tub. The ping pong table collapsed the first night giving me a horrible bruise all down my leg. There was also a horrible musty smell in the master bath

Owner's Response: Penny, I wish you had contacted me during your stay so I could have resolved some of these issues for you. I apologize for the cobwebs and will notify my cleaning service asap. I spoke with a pest control agency yesterday, they assured me there are no cockroaches in the Teton Valley. I hope you enjoyed the rest of your stay.

Great place - a home away from home!

  • 5 of 5

The house was very welcoming and cozy. We had everything we needed - plenty of towels, all the extras in the bathroom - much more than I expected. The kids loved the games downstairs. We liked the location, a nice quiet neighborhood with a grocery store nearby. The kitchen was well equipped with dishes and cookware. We enjoyed our stay there very much and would definitely recommend it to others.

Perfect place for our family to relax in Driggs

  • 5 of 5

The house has everything you need and location is awesome. It is close to town and just a few miles from Grand Targhee. We spent Father's Day weekend here. The neighborhood is quiet and good for families. My kids loved it. We would definitely stay here again.

Perfect Base for our Ski Vacation

  • 5 of 5

My husband and two young adult kids spent a week here for Spring Break 2016. We had never explored Idaho/Wyoming before and absolutely fell in love. We were especially blessed to have it snow almost every day while we were there. Powder, powder, powder at Grand Targhee. This house was absolutely perfect for us in every way. The kitchen is set up beautifully, lovely gas fireplace in the living room, very comfortable beds with snuggly linens, lots of games and videos, and...something I've never gotten to experience in a VRBO property.....a garage! Came in particularly handy with all of the snow. We had a little trouble with the heating system but the owners were very responsive and a local man and his son came by and got it fixed right up. I can't think of a single negative about the property.

It is about a 20 minute drive to Grand Targhee. We were iffy about this at first as there are other properties that are closer. However, we are happy to have been right in Driggs. We love this little town! The restaurants have REALLY good food and the people are super friendly. We ate at Provisions (breakfast and lunch), Teton Thai (super good!), Royal Wolf (filled with locals on a Friday night), Hacienda Cuajimalpa (very authentic) and Forage for a celebration night. There is a sweet Natural Food Store as well as THE nicest grocery store I've ever seen in a small town. Wow. Everything you could possibly need or want. The info on the house says that it is an easy walk into town. I found this to be true. I was left without a car a couple of days and it was super easy and nice to walk uptown and wander amongst the shops.

We did a backcountry ski tour with Yostmark and rented our downhill skis from Peaked Sports both on Little/Ski Hill Road. Again, super friendly and helpful folks.

We even drove up to West Yellowstone for a winter tour. From the special snow van, we got dropped off and did a 2 1/2 hour x-country ski past all kinds of thermal features ending up at Old Faithful. We got to see WOLVES! (From the van...but a big deal.) A beautiful day.

This property was a huge part of a perfect spring break vacation for us. If you love small towns and intimate ski resorts, this is the place for you!
