Great Apartment with good view in excellent location
This apartment had all we needed for a great stay. The apartment was very comfortable. The view from the terrace was good, and the location was very quiet. Within 3 blocks are supermarkets, Salamanca's 2nd biggest indoor food market, bakeries, and restaurants. It is an easy 15 minute walk to all historical sights on pedestrian only streets. Claudia, who speaks English ( rare in this part of Spain) was an excellent Host. She even allowed us to arrive early and depart a little later than usual, making our travel plans easier. Highly recommended
Beautiful apartment in great location
Claudia and her husband gave us a warm welcome and explanation of what we needed to know about the apartment. It is very well appointed and the description on the website is a true reflection of this. Everything was clean and fresh. The terrace is amazing and affords a wonderful view over the city. We spent many hours ( we were here for10days) lazing here and enjoying the sun and the views. The location could not be better as it is a short walk to the Plaza Mayor and despite being in the city centre it was quiet and safe. An added bonus for us was the garage parking as we had a car. We loved Salamanca - one of the most beautiful cities we have visited. Having the car enabled us to visit some of the surrounding countryside and medieval towns and villages - most enjoyable and interesting. We would definitely recommend at least a week here as there is so much to see and do - the city itself needs that amount of time so that it can be done at a leisurely and relaxing pace. We were here at the end of September and the weather was lovely - chilly in the morning but rising to 30 degrees once the sun got up. This s a city and an apartment we would highly recommend and we have every intention of returning.
Clean, comfortable and great location
The reservation process was quick and seamless - our host, Claudia responded within a few hours of our initial inquiry. She met us at the curb in front of the building and walked us in and through the apartment. Claudia was very helpful orienting us to Salamanca and its sights. There is a grocery store only a block away, open seven days a week. We arrived on Saturday and had no problem finding parking close to the flat. Street parking is free on the weekends and the fee period begins on Monday at 9 and is about 1 Euro per hour. The balcony is wonderful and gives you a nice vantage point to the northern part of the old city. The days we were there were very warm and although we kept the shutters closed throughout the day (no air conditioning), the flat heated up in the evening. Fortunately the cool evening breezes cooled us down and we were able to sleep comfortably with open windows and the help of an upright fan. The kitchen is very well equiped, compete with a dishwasher and clothes washing machine. There is a cupboard full of essentials (olive oil, spices, etc.) to help get your meals prepared.
The location is fantastic. One block away from the pedestrian walk into the Plaza Mayor - which is about a five minute walk. Plenty of delicious food everywhere you look and the city is a visual delight. We would definetly stay here again if we get back to the area.

The kitchen was well equipped and the terrace/balcony was an added luxury (as well as a convenient place to hang out laundry). Claudia arrived on time at both the beginning and end of our stay and was extremely helpful. Close by to supermarkets, ATM, restaurants etc. We highly recommend the apartment.

The apartment had all the comforts you could wish for a home away from home. The kitchen as well equipped and the apartment was clean and modern with good wifi connection. The location was central and within easy reach of the historical centre of the city. Having the terrace with a view over the city made it even more special.
