Consisting of a main living area with a comfortable bed ( 2 sleeps) and kitchenette. Separate bathroom with walk-in shower, W.C. and hand-basin. The terrace offers great views to the sea - you can almost touch it! This comfortable studio is located, west facing, on the top floor of a 7 storey building (2 lifts available); beach-side, so unobstructed sea views), with plenty of parking outside and beside the block. In a well established building right on the coast, you have direct access to the beach and the promenade, where are restaurants, bar and shops.

Torrox-Costa: The Costa del Sol is one of the most popular destinations for holidays having a temperate climate, it is popular with sun seekers the whole year round. Torrox-costa has over 330 sunny days per year!!!!

Torrox-Costa is a nice resort not overcrowded, located in the east side of The Costa del Sol, 40 minutes drive from the airport of Málaga, with 9km ( 5,6 miles) of sandy beach. Between Nerja and Torre del Mar, surrounded by a range of mountains at its background which prevents cold winter wind.

Torrox-Costa has a long coastal promenade which runs the length of Torrox Costa resort with a choice of excellent restaurants, typical Spanish bars, pubs, shops, Internet Café, Tourist Office, childen play park, exercise machines and also 4 supermarkets.

This region is a very well know tourist area famous for it's climate, cosmopolitan life styles and history.

A typical Spanish market is held every Monday morning.

Torrox is one of that many typical whitewashed villages that are perfect to make a visit, such as Competa and Frigiliana famous for its wine, or Nerja with its famous Balcon de Europa and the caves.

Torrox Costa is a small town in its own right and has Roman remains from its historical past as a production centre of 'garum' a Roman anchovy based paste. The inland village of Torrox has an ancient past with plenty of history and is a typical white washed Andalusian village.

A very pleasant place to stay

My wife and I really enjoyed our quiet week's break there. The facilities in the studio flat were excellent and we felt very welcome. Just a pity about the weather in February!

Un hiver au soleil

Si vous avez bien visualisé le studio sur internet avant de partir.... vous "arrivez chez vous" !! Vous n'aurez plus qu'à vous installer et apprécier la vue magnifique que vous offre le studio... La partie balcon est très ensoleillée et vous invite à vous prélasser ou admirer la mer bleue. Studio très propre et fonctionnel, situé à quelques pas de la plage et d'un paséo de près de 2 km où il fait bon flâner et profiter des nombreux bars et restaurants à des prix corrects. Torrox Costa est bien adapté aux personnes à mobilité réduite. La propriétaire, très chaleureuse est aux petits soins et répond à tous vos besoins. Elle est d'excellent conseil. La région offre de multiples excursions, aussi bien à la mer qu'à la montagne toute proche. Bref, 3 mois de bonheur pour nous !

Klein, aber fein in bester Lage

Wir haben uns in diesem Studio sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Lage war hervorragend, direkt am Anfang der langen Promenade. vom Balkon toller Meerblick. Ein kleiner Markt war direkt neben dem Haus, größere ( Aldi, Lidl..) wie auch der Busbahnhof in der Nähe, alles gut zu Fuß zu erreichen. Besonders erwähnenswert sind Freundlichkeit und Engagement der Vermieterin. Alles lief sehr professionell, sehr zuverlässig. Einmal gab es einen Stromausfall, sie kam sofort und brachte es wieder in Ordnung. Die Kaution wurde umgehend überwiesen. Wir kommen gern wieder.

Nous avons passé un merveilleux séjour dans votre location. L'appartement est exactement conforme aux photos qui sont sur le site, il est confortable, pratique, idéalement situé, avec une vue magnifique sur la mer, proche des commerces, taxis, bus.

Je remercie Sabine pour son sérieux, sa discrétion;, ainsi que son accueil chaleureux. Je recommande entièrement son appartement pour d'agréables séjours.

el estudio es tal como aparece en las fotos,vista inmejorables,a 20 metro del paseo maritimo y cerca de todo para hacerlo confortable sin problema de aparcamiento.La propiedad estaba muy limpia y cuidada con todo lo necesario para habitarlo.El trato fue exquisito por parte de su dueña Sabine,persona muy amable y que te facilita todo tipo de informacion de todos los lugares a donde ir ,para que la estancia sea perfecta.Recomendaria este estudio para pasar unas fantasticas vacaciones.Agredecer desde aqui a Sabine su recomendaciones de atraciones y restaurantes de la zona

Mieux que chez moi.

Le studio proposé est admirablement bien aménagé, ultra propre, confortable, l'immeuble est d'un bon standing, le stationnement n'est pas un problème. On se sent comme chez soit mais en mieux. Cela découle de l'écoute qu'a la sympathique polyglotte Sabine avec ses hôtes. Ses conseils sont précieux. Pour le reste les photos descriptives parlent d'elles-même. Nous y avons retrouvé l'insouciance de nos années estudiantines. Nous ne souhaitons qu'une chose : y retourner 15 jours au minimum.

Torrox-Costa has a long coastal promenade which runs the length of Torrox Costa resort with a choice of excellent restaurants, typical Spanish bars, pubs, shops, Internet Café, Tourist Office, childen play park, exercise machines and also supermarkets. Torrox is one of that many typical whitewashed villages that are perfect to make a visit, such as Competa and Frigiliana famous for its wine, or Nerja with its famous Balcon de Europa and the caves. All the amenities are accessible by foot: restaurants, pubs, clubs, boutiques, banks, doctors, pharmacy, supermarkets, biologic store, etc.There is a free car park around the buildinG.

Málaga city is a very interesting city to visit, old centre, cathedral, beaches and Picasso Museum.

Ronda within 2 hours drive also worths a visit.

Frequent buses to all locations. Various festivals throughout the year. There are three 18-hole golf courses within a short drive.

Other Area Activities: Nerja caves and Donkey Sanctuary are located 9 km from this property. El Ingenio Shopping Mall and Aquavelis water park less than 15 mins by car. Granada 1 hours, Ronda 2 hours, Seville 3 hours by car

Access to the accomodation: Fly to Malaga International Airport with one of the many budget airlines: Easy Jet, Monarch, Jet 2, BMI Baby, Air lingus, Ryanair, etc.

Torrox Costa is a 40 minutes via freeway from Málaga airport.

- TAXI: Taxis are always available. I can provide pick up service from airport if required.

- CAR HIRE: All major car hire firms operate from the airport (Europcar, Avis, holiday autos).

A hire car is optional. I can give some good address.

- BUS: There is a regular / excellent bus service from the airport to Málaga, it takes around 40 minutes. Bus stop near to apartment, take shuttle bus to Malaga bus station then direct bus (please check times in advance).

The local bus service is excellent and serves Nerja, Frigiliana, Torrox pueblo and other interesting villages throughout the area.

  • The dining room is the perfect place to relax and enjoy the beautiful sea view. Your breakfasts, lunches or dinners will be a real pleasure for your eyes. The windows, double glazed and with shutters, take the full width of the apartment and can be opened wide to allow total ventilation or to permit you to sunbath. Free outstanding view of the sea, not overlooked, and the blue of the sea is the main colour of the scenery, the sandy beach and the promenade. From this studio you can see, in winter, the breathtaking sunsets on the sea, different every day. The swimming pool is shared and always secured by a life guard (open in high season). Admission only with a card, which will be handed to you upon arrival. Around the swimming pool, there is a fully fenced garden to sunbath.

The living area has a sofa bed for a third person or 2 kids, tea table for an aperitif, commode with Astra satellite television with free French, Spanish, English and German channels + radio. The kitchen is equipped with an electric hob, microwave, coffee maker, kettle, toaster, fridge with freezer compartment, vacuum cleaner, iron and ironing board and all the basic cookware and utensils you'll need to prepare meals. The shower room has a shower cabinet, toilet, mirror cabinet, sink, washing machine and drying rack floor. Hair dryer provided. Air-conditioning for summer time and electric heater for winter. In the studio, there is a book with tourist information.

Notes:
Freshly repainted in Novembre 2012. All amenities are within walking distance, no need of car: there is a free parking semi-private around the residence and also to the street. The pool is a community pool and monitored by a lifeguard (seasonal). Admission only with identity cards, they will be provided to your arrival.Around the pool you have a garden solarium for sunbathing, completely fenced. You have two tennis courts. The walk is flat, perfect for bikes, skates or skates and where you will find at least 40 restaurants and terraces 'chiringuitos', cafés, ice cream parlors, shops, pubs, dance halls, tourist information (in season), playground children, weight machines in the open air, beach football track and basketball made freely available by the City Council.
