Enjoy this beautiful 1 bedroom, 1 bath suite on the 2nd floor on the Sonoran Sea that sleeps up to 4 people (or up to 5 with a baby, but note that the resort will only issue up to 4 wristbands for pool access).

We're only 3.5 hours from Phoenix or Tucson, Arizona.

Relaxing Spot with an Ocean Breeze

It was wonderful to wake up to the sounds of the sea and a cool ocean breeze and to sit on the private deck and take it all in. The condo is just right for two people. The facility is very safe, clean and secure. Great value, relaxation, beautiful seaside resort...this condo is just right.

Perfect getaway

Property, room, and service are up to US standards. This was our first time to Mexico, and so we were quite nervous about safety and security. Once we got there, we weren’t worried at all. The condo is perfect for a small group: bed was comfy, enough space in the kitchen, balcony was perfect morning / afternoon / evening / breakfast / lunch / dinner. I highly recommend the condo, the owner, and the resort!!

Vacation April 24-29,2023

Love this location but with some minor changes. They were replacing all the balconies on the building and we happened to be right next to the construction. Very nice place easy to move around the facility and area. Nice restaurants within walking distance. Need more shops/boutiques not just cheap souvenirs. Beach is beautiful and the weather was perfect! Would definitely recommend and would visit again. We flew into Phoenix and drove the 4hours to Rocky Point. Was easy and we felt safe crossing the border and visiting another part of Mexico. People were friendly and welcoming.

Birthday Getaway

My husband and I stayed at this condo for 3 nights right around Halloween to celebrate a birthday. The unit was very clean. I spent a lot of time on the patio balcony and the view to the pool area and ocean is gorgeous. The king size bed was one of the more comfortable ones we've slept in. There was plenty of parking on the parking lot. My only gripe was with check-in. There were a million forms to fill out (felt like more than other resorts in Rocky Point required) and I had to know things like "exact amount" I paid for my reservation and I wasn't prepared for that so had to dig through all my emails and held up the check in process. I've booked many condos in Rocky Point through VRBO and never needed to fill out that detailed of information at check in. Also I was expecting the pool bar to be opened daily but it was only open on the Sunday we arrived, but closed Mon, Tues, Wed. I don't know if that's their hours all the time or just seasonal hours as our stay crossed into the month of November. The restaurant on the property served good food. The pool was heated and that was nice even though the bar was closed. Overall we had a very nice stay.

Of course Puerto Penasco, Mexico is the closest beach/ocean to anywhere in Arizona. This is an affordable resort that is right on the ocean. There are a wide variety of activities available year round. There are rarely any storms or natural disasters in this area.

What makes this property unique

Closest beach/ocean to anywhere in Arizona. Direct views of the ocean. Short walk to the pools and ocean/beach. Short walk to many restaurants and bars nearby. Patio is shaded. Murphy bed allows for extra sleeping space that many condos do not have.
