This private suite provides everything needed for up to 4 guest to enjoy a visit to the ever-changing landscape of The Nations Capital. Located on a matured tree lined block just minutes from the Petworth Green/Yellow line Metro station.

The property is located in Columbia Heights, a very popular residential area of Washington. Its in walking distance to dozens of unique restaurants and bars that have patio seating and rooftop options. A slightly further walk will yield national restaurants such as Ruby Tuesday, Chipotle and IHOP. Also in the area is a Target, Z burger, Five Guys, and a great New Haven style pizza restaurant, great for families. The property is also 3 blocks from the major grocery store chain Safeway, and even closer is a local organic grocer chain. Guest enjoy this option for snacks or even for preparing there own meals in the fully equipped kitchen.

Mass transit - Metro is a 7-10 min walk away. Or a bus line, a few steps away will take you to the heart of downtown.

The space accommodates 4. There are 2 queen beds. One in the bedroom. The other is a very comfortable and modern sofa bed (See picture).

Towels and linens provided. Keurig single serve coffee maker onsite with an assortment of K-cups.

This suite has coded entry for self check in (3pm)/out (11am).

A free street parking permit can be provided upon request.

Perfect Location

We loved the property and our stay. It was located very close to buses, the metro, restaurants, etc. The apartment was very clean and provided everything we needed and more. Our stay in this location and property was so much fun. It was a family vacation and everyone had a wonderful time! I would recommend it to anyone visiting DC.

Not bad, could be better

My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights, and it wasn't bad. We enjoyed being able to walk to a lot of the nearby restaurants and grocery store. The metro is a half mile walk, which was nice. The neighborhood is decent, and I never felt unsafe.

The apartment felt like someone just finished it about a year ago, so everything feels modern and updated. However, somethings seemed a little weird. The tiles aren't all level, and there are spots on corners that there is no grout. Was just odd. The kitchen cabinet's are still raw wood. The shower pan doesn't drain correctly, and there is some water damage and mold starting to build up on the lower, outer walls of the shower.

The ceilings are really low in some parts. It looks like they had ducting go threw certain parts, and just drywalled around it. I am 6'5", and my husband is 6'1", and we had to watch our heads a lot, but at least we could stand comfortably in most parts. I think if you are under 5'10 it wouldn't be an issue.

I found it odd that there were still linens going in the wash when we got there. There were so many that they wouldn't dry. I had to pull some of them out and try to get the washer/dryer to only dry. Even after reading the instructions provided, it still added a rinse cycle. I ended up having to hang some of them to dry so we could use the washer. I do appreciate that there was a washer/dryer available. Being as humid as it was while we were there, we needed to wash cloths more than expected.

The mattress on the bed was thin. I could feel the platform underneath while I slept. However, there were no springs poking out, so I was able to sleep pretty well still.

The couch was comfy. We did not sleep on it, just sat and relaxed. I appreciated the cable/satellite subscription.

The communication with the owner was great. He sent over all the info that we needed to check in, and provided more information once inside.

All in all, I would stay here again. However my husband and I are used to places more on the "wonky" side. I know if I was traveling with some other friends and family, I would not stay here because I know they would not be comfortable. I think it all depends on what you are used to when traveling.

Good location but the apartment had many issues. So many that we left after 2 nights. Abandoning the additional 3 night left on our reservation

Convenient and Comfortable

This little apt. was a perfect spot to launch our tour of the nation's capital. We very much enjoyed the convenience to the metro. Parking was a challenge to get a spot, but once we did we didn't need the car the rest of the weekend. Hoping to come back for more exploring.
