Why Quinlan & Reed Properties chose Sacramento

This house is located in historic East Sac across from McKinley Park and is a true gem. We loved this house when we bought it and saw huge potential. After a year of construction and remodeling, we restored this home to its former glory and added on. We remodeled the house from a single family home into a dual residence with separate entrances. The Tree House, at one entrance, shares the building with the office for Quinlan and Reed Properties and Construction which has its own entrance.

Needs Upgrades for Price

  • 3 of 5

Outside needs to be hosed down, lots of spider webs on entry to laundry room and large garbage bin. There was a hole in the wall on top of stairwell when we got there. The dishwasher was not emptied when we got there. Mattresses really need upgrade (possibly 3 queen beds for adults and older (taller) kids. TV needs better instructions, as there were not very many channels to select from (watched family feud all 3 days). There was no broom to sweep. No dishcloth. There were only 3 washclothes. Last year, we enjoyed our stay better, but we like the layout and the ability to have separate areas for different families. It just needs some upgrades for the price, or lower the price.

Owner's Response: Thank you for your feedback. We apologize that you did not enjoy your stay as much this year. We work very hard to maintain the property to a high level of cleanliness and comfort so it can be like a home away from home for our guests. The dishwasher gets emptied after every stay but sometimes things get missed (hey we are human!) and we apologize for the inconvenience this caused. We are in the process of hiring a new maintenance company for the outside of the property and refreshing our bedding and linens. Most of our guests rate their stay at 4-5 stars and are extremely satisfied with the property, however, we are always looking to improve and provide the best value and comfort possible. Thanks again for the feedback. All the best!

A nice place to stay in Mid -Town Sacramento

  • 5 of 5

My wife and I travelled from Florida to meet up with our children and their significant others to attend our niece's wedding in Sacramento. We stayed at the 'Tree House' from 5/31/17 - to 6/4/17. The house/bathrooms were clean and tastefully decorated and the bedding/ linens were fresh. A nice view of McKinley Park from the porch on the *3fl. Since the Mass and wedding venue, as well as other associated events all took place in the downtown Sacramento area, the location of the house was perfect for us to use Uber/Lyft. I would definitely recommend this property if you're looking for a place to rent in Sacramento.

Thank You,

Bernie Brzozowski

  • 5 of 5

From when we arrived all the way until we departed this home was immaculate and better than advertised. Perfect location and all aspects of the house and its operation were perfectly laid out and easy to follow. We would stay here again and again and recommend this highly to everyone. Thank you for a great stay.

Great location!

  • 4 of 5

This property worked great for the weekend wedding we were in town for.

Plenty of space for the 4 adults and 2 kids staying there. Kitchen had everything needed to make meals in. Or location was less than a $10 Uber ride (~2 miles) to the hip area that bustled with local eateries. Kitchen water pressure was tough to wash dishes with and took a very long time to get warm.

The park across the street was great to get outside and relaxing when we had down time. There is a dirt track around the park that made morning runs really convenient.

It would have been nice to have a second key to the unit since we had 2 families.

Owner's Response: So glad you enjoyed your stay at the treehouse! The trail around the park is perfect for walking and running and so pretty. Thanks for your feedback regarding the keys. We now have extra sets for large parties. Thanks again!

Clean, livable, and friendly

  • 4 of 5

Not covered in chotchkies and the useless staging props you get with most VRBOs.

Comfortable furniture and nice appliances. Barbecue on the porch.

This worked perfectly for our family gathering. Everyone loved it.

Owners are friendly and responsive.
