All towns have local art, and craft shows throughout the summer.
Boyne Highlands is a ski and golf resort, and is across the street.
Cross Village is known for 'The Legs Inn', great Polish cuisine, and Three Pines, an artisan shop.
Good Hart, great little gift shops, and General Store.
Petoskey is home to the Odawa Casino. You can enjoy gambling or take in a live entertainment show. Great boutiques, fine dining, parasailing, and MUCH more.
Boyne Mountain/City enjoy skiing, large indoor water park, shops, and dining.
Charlavoix is mostly a summer place. Great art and craft shows, and the Venetian festival is fun and the boat show of lights is amazing.
Bay Harbor is known for its Harbor, and Championship Golf Courses. Wonderful fine dining, and boutiques.
Mackinaw City is the furthest drive. Enjoy the Fort, many fudge shops, boutiques, and restaurants. Take a Ferry Boat if you want to experience going back in time, on Mackinac Island.
Most of these quaint towns are on Lake Michigan, where you may find yourself your very own Petoskey Stone.

About Michael and Kimberly Mack
I grew up in Metro Detroit, and enjoyed spending the weekends in beautiful Northern Michigan with my family. Although we like spending time on the golf course, or out on the lake, our passion will always be skiing.
Michael and Kimberly Mack purchased this Chalet in 1998
Why Michael and Kimberly Mack chose Pleasantview
This home provided us with a home away from home, on weekends and holidays, as our son pursued his skiing career, and our other children enjoyed snowboarding.
What makes this Chalet unique
The uniqueness of the area quickly drew us to live full time in Northern Michigan while our children were still of school age. The area is full of wonderful amenities, and charm, and this home is in the center of them all!

Great location for skiers
Nice place, very clean and well maintained. Lots of great features packed into a little house, including whirlpool tub and a sauna. Unit does not have a dishwasher, and the heat on the lower level was a little thought to maintain. Overall, it was a great fit for my wife and 4 daughters.
Nice and convenient. Had a wonderful time!
This home had everything we needed . The owners were propt to respond to our needs .
Had a great time staying here and exploring the mountain biking trails. Kim was helpful and easy to work with. The house is beautiful and the neighborhood is as well. I now want a sauna at my house!
Home away from home!
We had a group of 8 including adults, tweens/kids, and a toddler.
There was room and activities for all. The proximity to Nub's was great and the locker was a much appreciated bonus. It was nice to find some toys and puzzles already present at the lodge. The kitchen was roomy, and the living area was stellar! We liked it so much we even 'got over' the fact there was no dishwasher; it gave the kids something to do. 😊😉
Kim and Michael quickly responded to any/all questions.
This a nice home. Very comfortable. Great to be so close to the ski hills!
Cozy, comfortable, and everything was in good working order! No problems at all. We appreciated the cleanliness, as well. There were 7 of us and we had plenty of space.
We are happy you enjoyed our home. It is always a pleasure to have guests like you.
We hope to have you again in the future.
Cozy and well maintained home around the corner from Nubs Nob and Boyne Highlands
My family (wife, two 10-year olds, and Father/Mother-in-Law) spent 3 days in late Dec 2016 at this wonderful home while we skied and snowboarded at Nubs Nob. The owners are very responsive and were fantastic to work with. The home is well maintained and was a perfect place to come back to after a long day on the ski hills. We enjoyed the sauna, large jacuzzi tub and fireplace. We cooked all our own meals and the appliances worked well. When you are on the lower level there is a heater with a fan that helps balance the temperature. The owners also have a locker at Nubs that was very useful to store gear while skiing. Overall we had a great experience and plan to stay here again on future ski trips!
Zip-lining at Boyne Highlands.
