About Nancy Weeks-Cantone

We use to stay on Nantucket for a long weekend every fall after we married. A few years after our first child was born we rented a house for a week and fell in love with Nantucket. We have rented more than 20 houses in Sconset over the past 25 years and finally decided to buy our own home, on a quiet side street in Sconset and love it - so do our girls!

Nancy Weeks-Cantone purchased this house in 2014

Why Nancy Weeks-Cantone chose Nantucket

Sconset is a special area of Nantucket with its own beach, restaurants, market , post office and tiny rose covered cottages that use to be a fishing village.

Sconset holds many wonderful memories for our family and it is a great place to relax. This year round house offered us a large private yard on a side street in Sconset Village with room for our family and visitors. When we were thinking of buying on Nantucket we knew the only area we would buy a home was Sconset Village.

What makes this house unique

We loved the brightness of this house when we walked in the front door. It was easy to visualize our family enjoying time here and we knew renters would enjoy their stay. The house is comfortable on a rainy fall day, as well as, on a beautiful sunny summer day - to us that is a sign of a great house - one you can enjoy no matter the weather!

Charming, comfortable Sconset saltbox!

  • 5 of 5

This house was perfect for our family of five... small and quaint, yet everyone had their own space. The house had everything we needed from an amenity standpoint, was very clean and decorated in a charming beach decor. The beautifully manicured landscape and comfortable back porch made morning coffee and casual meals so enjoyable. Nancy made the booking process very easy and she was very prompt and nice to talk to. While we biked or walked around Sconset, we did need a car to get to the other beaches and into Nantucket itself. But staying in the quiet, beautiful picturesque village of Sconset was SO worth the short drive anywhere on the island. Highly recommend 11 Sconset Ave!

Lovely, clean, spacious cottage

  • 5 of 5

The cottage is lovely, well-situated and our family enjoyed their stay there immensely. We were getting married at the nearby Wade Cottages and looking for accommodation for family. We found this cottage on Homeaway and it was just perfect. Our family could not stop saying how nice it was and its location was ideal. Nancy responded to all of my queries right away and was very accommodating to all of our needs. I would definitely recommend this property!

Wonderful getaway!

  • 4 of 5

Our first Nantucket vacation and it was wonderful. House was close to the little village of Sconset which has small market, sandwich shop and several delicious restaurants. We also loved the cliff walk overlooking the beaches.

House was furnished simply but very comfortable. Lovely back deck where we had breakfast in the morning and cocktails every evening -- watched the stars and the fog roll in! We were happy to find all of the needed pots to crackers to make a wonderful lobster, clam and mussel fest for the family.

The owners graciously provided recommendations for restaurants and things to do across the island.

We are certainly looking forward to our next vacation in Nantucket.

Terrific house, terrific location

  • 5 of 5

We had a wonderful, relaxing week here! The house is light, bright and updated. We loved eating dinners outside on the deck. It's well situated on a quiet street, but an easy walk to the beach and the center of S'conset. We highly recommend this lovely house!

A 'Sconset Special

  • 5 of 5

What may appear in the photo to be a small and simple cottage will take guests by surprise. It comfortably accommodates 8 persons and is a well- equipped home, with extras such as an outdoor shower for beach returnees and bikes for adventurers. There is an expansive, new deck and a large back lawn, perfect for ball games. Our own specialities were morning walks "to town" for croissants and evening strolls along hidden beach paths. The owner was very attentive and quick to reply to any questions. I envy you future guests!
