Royal Palms 504 is a 1 bedroom / 2 bath gulf front condo on the 5th floor with amazing views of the gulf. The condo has been completely renovated with all new tile flooring, granite counter tops and new cabinetry in both kitchen and bathrooms. The entire unit has been freshly painted and redecorated.
The master bedroom has a king bed and the living room has a sofa sleeper. Both bedroom and living room have new flat screen TVs.
Royal Palms has outdoor pool, indoor pool, children's pool, hot tub and large sun deck area. The property also has a small fitness room and steam room.

Our girls trip was happily spent in this cute condo. We loved this 5th floor unit because it was high up enough to have great views, but low enough to quickly utilize the elevator. We were on the beach in no time! The beach here is less crowded since the national park is right next door. Plenty of parking and amenities in this building. We loved having 2 bathrooms even though it is a 1 bedroom condo. The bed in the master room was very comfy. The only small issue we had was that there was little space for our luggage and little drawer space for 3 people. May I suggest using the hallway for more storage space? All in all, we will definitely recommend this condo to anyone! Great location to restaurants and shopping.
The place was clean and everything they said would be provided was provided. My only complaint was the sleeper couch in the living room, which was the only non-wooden piece of furniture on which to watch TV. It was extremely uncomfortable. I used my own lawn chair to watch TV.
On a positive note, the indoor pool and hot tub were very nice and we enjoyed those during our visit. The view from the private balcony is great and it was handy having a washer and dryer in our own unit.
My husband and I enjoyed our stay and plan to come back. Location is great. We had plenty of room in the unit. You can easily get four with no problem. Hope you get a chance to try it out! We loved it!
My husband and I stayed in this condo for 3 nights in April for our 10th Anniversary. Even though we loved the location and were happy with the décor and amenities in the unit, we would not recommend booking through Gulf Shores Rentals. The problem arose when the A/C went out our second night. We had a very restless night’s sleep that night, the temp in the unit was 84 by the next morning. We called to report it first thing and they did send out a maintenance worker immediately. He said the HVAC guy who installed the unit would need to come out. The HVAC guy arrived an hour or so later and discovered that the wiring to the property’s roof was bad . He said he would not be able to fix it that day because it was raining. By lunch, it was very muggy in the unit even with the ceiling fan on high. Both men who came out were very nice and apologetic and one told us the management company would most likely offer to move us to another unit or discount our stay. That wasn’t the case at all. The woman my husband talked to at the management company just kept saying these things happen, it wasn’t their fault, and they couldn’t/wouldn’t discount our stay since we were taking part in a promotion where the 3rd night of our stay was free. We could not get her to understand that this happened on our SECOND night and that it shouldn’t matter anyway. There is no way we would have booked with them at all had we thought we were getting a room with no air for the majority of our stay. Of course we understand these things happen but the fact is we didn't get what we paid for. After going back and forth with us, she finally said that they would send us a discount card to be used for a future stay. Although we were still disappointed - especially since this was our first trip alone in 5 years and we knew it wouldn’t be happening again any time soon - we were relieved they finally offered to do something. Well, it has been 6 weeks and we haven’t received anything from them. We have friends who own condos in the area and they could not believe the company handled this so poorly. They said that it is standard practice to discount a stay if something major in the condo goes wrong. There are just way too many other options for renting in Gulf Shores than to choose a company with so little regard for their customers. Take our advice and look elsewhere!
