About Carol Werner

We purchased this property to accommodate our son's winter training schedule. He is a competitive snowboarder and frequents the surrounding mountains, Breckenridge, Copper and Keystone.

Why Carol Werner chose Summit County Colorado

We fell in love with this property for its location, spaciousness, mountain views, and convenience to the surrounding resorts. Also, this property is in great condition! Everything is clean and new and we treat it as we would our own home.

What makes this house unique

This property does not require the use of a car. There are many businesses within walking distance; grocery stores, restaurants, coffee shops, etc. It is an easy walk through the park to the Transfer Station to catch the Summit Stage for free transport to downtown Frisco, surrounding towns, and the local ski resorts! We love it!

Awesome Location, Beautiful Duplex, Fun Had By All...

  • 5 of 5

My family had an amazing Summer stay at the Frisco Duplex. It's as if we picked up our family home and dropped it in Frisco...except we just had to bring ourselves! The two comfortable living areas meant the kids and adults could spend time away from each other when necessary. Each had big screen tv's with one having an Xbox360 for the kids to use. Really a whole another large family could have stayed with us and would have been comfortable. Each bedroom had comfy beds/linens with plenty of storage space. The hot tub was set up perfectly when we arrived and was welcome after long days hiking, kayaking and exploring the area! Beautiful mountain views from the hot tub and large deck! The gas grill was great as we had BBQ'd several nights! The location could not be more perfect. A car would not be necessary from this location as we noticed the Frisco Transfer Station is only a couple of blocks away so next time we'll take the bus from the airport! Then free bus service to other local ski mountains and towns, as well as downtown Frisco. Whole Foods is a short walk away along with other dining and shopping options. Frisco Bay Marina was a short 20 minute walk and we tried the kayak rentals that had just amazing scenery. We booked a white water rafting trip and rented mountain bikes just a short walk from the Duplex at Kodi Rafting. Our Kids will remember their first whitewater rafting trip forever! Basically too much to do with not enough time to do it in Summit County in the Summer! This Frisco Duplex is the perfect location to make your "Home Base"! We would definitely recommend this location!!!

Convenient Summit County Location With Great Space.

  • 5 of 5

My group had a nice and comfortable stay at this home. The Frisco location is great putting you in the middle of Summit County's awesome ski areas. It's walking distance to the bus station, super markets, restaurants and more.

Even though your close to town the home was quiet. It has nice views from the backside of the house and deck. I was surprised by all the living and storage space. There are two living areas with nice flat screen tv's which was nice when the kids and adults wanted to split up into different areas. A brand new hot tub was installed right before we arrived which was nice and relaxing after those long days on the slopes.

The owners were very easy to work with and I'll definitely rent this home again when traveling to CO.

Perfectly Delivers As Promised!

  • 5 of 5

This place was perfect for the seven of us and we could have fit five more and everyone still get their own bed. With couples or big bed sharing 12 would be comfortable and still cause no traffic or clutter issues. Ample closet space and dressers, bathrooms, living and dining areas, a workroom, laundry room and full garage. Lots of decks and a new hot tub?! The place surprised me with just how easy to use, keep clean and not be a bother it all was. Perfectly located in the heart of summit county skiing and riding. Walking distance to buses, downtown and the brand new wholefoods etc. Half mile from the Summit boulevard and highway 70 and I never heard a Car! I have stayed in Frisco 15 times in the past ten years and I will stay at 64 Hawn again next time!
