Here is one of the few authentic, rustic log condos in the quiet resort community of Green Mansions on Tripp Lake located off Rte 9 on the Chestertown/Warrensburg line, off Adirondack Northway Exit 23, 20 miles east of Gore Mountain Ski Center. This property has 2 bedrooms, 2.5 baths, cathedral ceiling, a gorgeous stone fireplace and a screened-in porch. A beautifully maintained beach beckons swimmers and sunbathers. During July & August 11:00AM - 6:00PM two Lifeguards are on duty and canoes, kayaks, row boats and paddle boats are provided free of charge to water enthusiasts. Tennis players will find pick-up games every morning at the 8 Har-Tru tennis. The courts are also lit for evening matches. To the right of the tennis courts, there is bocce ball. The Green Mansions Golf Course is one mile down the road for cross-country skiing and snowshoeing in the winter and teeing off in the summer. Cable, wireless internet, and a large flat screen HDTV are for those that prefer indoor entertainment or stay connected to their networks.

Why Lyn Ory chose Adirondacks

I love the Adirondacks. For years rented and visited friends in the Schroon Lake area. Decided it was time to have a place of my own to share with family and friends and let renters enjoy it as well.

What makes this cabin unique

Everyone is friendly at the beach and tennis courts. The sculpted bear on the staircase appealed to me. The screened-in porch is surrounded by forest and is very peaceful. The living room with the stone fireplace is quite cozy. The den has a round oak table for bridge or card playing with corner windows which lets the outside in.

Easy access with a lockbox. Quiet. Floor to Catheral ceiling stone wood burning fireplace. Jacuzzi tub to relax in. WiFi, cable.

Great place

Cute cabin, comfortable and peaceful. We were 4 adults with 2 kids. There was plenty of room for everyone. Close to Gore mountain. Took us only 15 minutes. We may return in the summer or again this winter.

Perfect

We had 5 days to experience the property, all it had to offer as well as the surrounding area. it was a girl's weekend for the perspective bride and our experience was all she expected and more. Absolutely beautiful and I plan on returning, perhaps several times a year. Loved it!

a perfect relaxation spot tucked in the woods

Our annual get-together with my brother and sister-in-law took place at this beautiful and spacious two bedroom log condo in the woods. We had a great time, relaxing in the comfy screen porch, wandering the property, boating on the lake on the property and whipping up fun meals in the well-equipped kitchen. Although it is part of a larger complex of units, it doesn't feel it. The reservation process was a piece of cake and the pre-visit instructions were very helpful. The unit had everything that was needed although having to bring our own sheets and towels was a little unusual. It was clean and well maintained although a bit dated. The numerous wood-carvings were fun and added a nice touch.

We went to Sticks and Stones in Warrensburg (?) for dinner which was very good and clearly a local hot spot. A little closer to the condo, we went into Chesterton for an ice cream nightcap in a throwback to another era.

If you're looking for a place to enjoy fresh air, peace and quiet, definitely consider this lovely place.

[One nit - the light outside the front door was out or not working which made for a bit of a challenge when we returned in the dark.]

Stay was fantastic!!

We had a fantastic experience. Green Mansions is nestled high in the forest and sports a swimming beach for the kids.

Lyn's cabin was clean and homey and Lyn was gracious and accomodating. She had all possible amenities and then some!

Would highly recommend this place for anyone looking to enjoy peace of mind and know they are getting quality service.

The log cabin condo was clean and inviting!

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our vacation at Tripp Lake. We enjoyed the beach, tennis, fishing and golfing at a nearby course. The condo is close enough to Lake George that we could ride into the village for dinner and shopping. Lyn was a wonderful hostess. She was very accessible and accommodating. There were even dog bowls out for our puppy who joined us for the week. Thanks, Lyn for a wonderful family getaway!
