3BR 2BA Luxury Condo with Frozen Room & Mickey & Friends Room

ParkHopper Properties welcome you to Mouse Pad, our family's 3BR-2 BA, 1246 sq. ft. luxury condo in Windsor Hills Resort. Mouse Pad features a sparkling 'Frozen' room plus a brightly colored room with Mickey and his pals. It is on the second floor in the building next to the pool and the clubhouse, which is the most desirable location in Windsor Hills. The pool and clubhouse area are only a few steps away from our building.

Windsor Hills is a gated resort with a double Olympic-sized heated pool which features a two-story spiral water slide, children’s water play area with dancing waters fountains, and a secluded hot tub area. There are lighted tennis, basketball and volleyball courts as well as a fully equipped fitness center, a movie theater with free guest-selected movies, outdoor grills, putting green, and two children’s playgrounds. It is one of the rental properties closest to the Disney main entrance. Two right turns and two miles after exiting Windsor Hills and you are driving under the “Welcome to Walt Disney World” sign. Driving time to the various Disney parks varies from about 7-12 minutes from Windsor Hills, depending on the park you are visiting.

Mouse Pad has been totally remodeled with a new kitchen and baths and all new furnishings. As the pictures show, there are new cabinets, granite countertops and porcelain tile floors throughout. All furniture in this unit has been fitted with glass tops, so no worries about damaging furniture and table tops.

The living room features a new 55' HD TV with a blu-ray player and comfortable leather furniture. There are also 32' HD TVs with blu-ray players in the Master BR and the Frozen room. All rooms feature new ceiling fans, window treatments, and bed and bath linens. There are also quality new pillow top mattresses on all beds in the unit. In addition to cable TV with multiple HD channels, we also provide a secure high speed wi-fi connection, and phone with free long distance calls to the US and Canada.

The master BR features a king bed and a private ensuite bath with a new spa-type shower. The Frozen room has a queen, and the Mickey room has a full and a twin. The Mickey room also features blackout curtains for naptime. The Frozen room and the Mickey room share a bath.

Mouse Pad will sleep up to 7 guests with a maximum of 8 if the Pack ‘n Play is used. (We also own a 2 BR 2BA unit next door that will accommodate up to 7 more guests.) A Pack 'n Play (sheets included), stroller and high chair are furnished for our younger guests. We also furnish beach towels for use at the pool.

The kitchen is fully equipped with new stainless steel appliances including refrigerator/freezer, flat surface stove and oven, microwave, and dishwasher. Small appliances include programmable coffee maker, toaster, and blender. There are plenty of cooking utensils, cookware, bakeware, flatware, glassware (including wine glasses), and kitchen linens to prepare and serve meals for up to 8. Additionally, Mouse Pad has a large capacity washer and dryer in the unit available for your use.

Mouse Pad is in the condo building closest to the pool and the clubhouse/movie theater/fitness center area. While we are only a few steps away from these facilities, we are on the back side of the building away from the pool which we think is a perfect location. We have quick access to the pool/clubhouse area, but do not receive noise from guests enjoying the pool and from the DJ & music from the pool parties.

About ParkHopper Properties by Carolyn Hudson & Charles Hudson

ParkHopper Properties is owned by Carolyn and Charles Hudson. Originally from Mississippi, Birmingham, Alabama has been home for over 39 years. We are the parents of 5 adult children, and we now have LOTS of grandchildren. :o)

We cherish the memories we made on family trips to the Orlando area when our children were small. Now that they have their own families, they enjoy bringing their children to the same theme parks they enjoyed as children.

Two of our daughters worked as musical performers at Disney both in California and Florida, so even after our children were grown, we made many trips to Disney to see their shows. We have stayed in most of the Disney properties and some private rental properties over the years. Once we 'discovered' Windsor Hills, we never stayed anywhere else! It simply could not be beat for facilities and convenience.

In 2012 we decided to buy our first condo in Windsor Hills because we wanted to have a place available to bring our grandchildren. Because our family kept expanding with new grandchildren, we found we needed more room, so we purchased an additional units that suited our location requirements as they became available.

With owning multiple units and managing them ourselves, we found that refurbishing the units offered a creative outlet and managing them was somewhat like a part-time job. Now that we are retired (medical and teaching), we decided that managing additional units would be a suitable job for two retirees.

ParkHopper Properties now owns and manages a total of 7 condos in Windsor Hills. Five of them are in the building adjacent to the pool, and two are diagonally across the street from the pool building. Having all of the properties close together gives us the flexibility of having properties suitable for larger groups.

We have enjoyed Disney and staying at Windsor Hills for several years. When we made the decision to purchase a vacation property, Windsor Hills was the only place we even considered.

We bought our first condo in Windsor Hills in 2012 and our family immediately enjoyed using it. In 2013, we added another one because our family continued to expand. When we had the opportunity to purchase another unit in Windsor Hills that offered the best location in the complex, an opportunity to totally refurbish, AND it was next door to our other unit, and we knew we had to go for it! Mouse Pad has been a labor of love for our family and for our guests, and it is my hope that many wonderful memories will be made there.

What makes this condo unique

Mouse Pad is in the most desirable location in Windsor Hills. It is by the pool and clubhouse area, so everything is only a few steps away, but it is on the opposite side of the building from the pool so when we are in the condo we do not receive any of the noise from the pool area. And on the weekends, the Windsor Hills pool parties ROCK!!! Fortunately, we can join in the fun, or nap quietly if we prefer thanks to the great location.

Beautiful, close to Disney, and perfect for kids!

We loved our stay at The Mouse Pad. Windsor Hills is lovely, a very secure complex, and the amenities are unbeatable — especially once the new pool additions are done.

The condo is clean, well-decorated with super fun themed rooms for the kids. My daughter did not want to leave the Frozen room and was actually excited to go to sleep each night! Having hosts who’ve thought of everything — from a stroller to borrow to step stools, bed rails, and straw cups for the kids — makes for a great stay. We can’t wait to come back!

Lovely place to stay

This was our second stay at Mouse Pad. We enjoyed it so much the first time we had to come back! This is definitely one of the nicest condos I have seen at Windsor Hills, and we have stayed at many over the years. It is CLEAN, comfortable, and looks just as it does in the pictures. Mrs. Carolyn is always helpful and quick to respond to any questions. Windsor Hills is in a great location close to Disney and there is a brand new Walmart minutes away (with a huge Disney section!) The only downfall (which was out of anyone's control) was the construction around the pool area was very noisy. We were awoken at 7am every morning which did put a damper on our trip. All the parking in front of the condo was walled off as a staging area, so we had to park on another street several times when we returned very late at night. The pool area improvements do look very nice and we look forward to seeing the finished water park when we return.

Great location!

6 of us stayed in Mouse Pad condo. My kids loved their rooms! Very nicely updated. Furniture and beds were comfortable. We actually used to own the same couch :) The location is perfect for Disney vacations. Only a few miles to the entrance. There's a brand new Walmart a mile away for grocery shopping. The resort was very nice. Nice pool, playground and game room. Owner was wonderful to work with! Looking forward to staying again. Only reason I gave it 4 stars is because its needs a more thorough cleaning job. But that's due to the cleaning company, not the owners. Carolyn has been made aware of the issue, and I'm sure she will strive to make it better. Definitely consider one of their properties. You won't be disappointed!

Windsor Hills is the closest community vacation resort to Disney (only 2 miles) and is located for easy access to other area attractions including Universal Studios, Islands of Adventure, Sea World, Discovery Cove, Busch Gardens, Wet-N-Wild, Arabian Knights, Medieval Times Dinner Show, Sleuths Mystery Dinner Show, and Dixie Stampede. Its central location provides quick access to major highways so guests can take day trips to beaches and other attractions in other parts of Florida, such as Cocoa Beach, Cape Canaveral, Daytona Beach, and Clearwater Beach. In addition, within a few miles there are numerous golf courses, outlet shopping, and hundreds of restaurants, as well as opportunities to visit museums and historic landmarks.

CANCELLATIONS/REFUNDS:
Cancellation policy: Booking may be canceled at any time up to or during the Rental Period. In the event that the Guest exercises the right to cancel, the following cancellation penalty rates will be applied:
Cancellation more than 60 days prior to arrival date, no penalty
60 to 29 days prior to arrival date, $200 deposit is forfeited
28 to15 days prior to arrival date, 50% of Total Rental Fee is forfeited
14-8 days prior to arrival date, 75% of Total Rental Fee is forfeited
7 days or less prior to arrival date, 100% of Total Rental Fee is forfeited
- Cancellations less than 14 days prior to arrival during holiday periods are subject to a penalty of 100%
of the Total Rental Fee.

It is not the intention of Parkhopper Properties to benefit financially from a cancellation. If the canceled dates can be re-booked and the funds received from re-booking these dates plus the forfeited funds are greater than the amount of the original rental cost, the excess funds will be returned to the original guest minus a $50 changeover fee.

All Cancellations must be received in writing. The Guest is reserving a specific property for a specific date. If the dates or the property are changed, the cancellation policy would apply. If the length of the stay is reduced, the cancellation policy would apply to the canceled nights. We regret that we cannot waive any of the above cancellation charges for any reason. Please consider travel insurance in the event weather related situations or sudden illnesses or emergencies occur.

Owner's Cancellation Policy

  • 50% refund for cancellations more than 30 days before check-in date.
  • 100% refund for cancellations more than 60 days before check-in date.
  • Service Fee fully refunded on cancellations that qualify for 100% refund.
