Ideally located, being in the centre of the island and close to all tourist areas. The villa is in a residential area and very peaceful and quiet. Absolutely spectacular views over the island and sea. Situated within easy reach of all areas of interest and within 10 minutes drive of the beaches in Puerto del Carmen and the beaches in the South and North of the Island. The villa is built over 3 floors with Master Bedroom Suite on the Ground Floor and further bedrooms on the 1st floor. Three sun terraces and a lovely heated pool Wifi & full TV package is included plus fresh water filter. Private parking and a peaceful residential area.

We purchased the land and built el olivo which was finshed in 2005. It is situated in an absolutely unbelievable spot with spectacular views which are some of the best on the Island.

El olivo provides the perfect location for an away from it all holiday with spectacular views over the National Park, montains and towards Fuerteventura. Ideally located in the centre of the islan for all beaches and areas of interest. The villa is modern, spacious and cool. A car is necessary in Conil. WIFI ON REQUEST

Large, modern villa with fantastic views

We booked the villa for our honeymoon and it exceeded our expectations. The photos do not do the property justice, its extremely spacious and could easily accommodate 8 adults. There are large terrace areas on both floors to take in mountain and sea views. We hired a car and were in the centre of Puerto del Carmen within 15 minutes. The property was clean and fresh towels and bedding were provided for our stay. There is a DVD player so we would recommend you take some with you as there are only two TV channels on the freeview in English, one of which is the Disney Channel. There is a small supermarket in Conil which stocks essentials but its opening hours are limited, there are however plenty of supermarkets within a ten minute drive. Restaurants are not in short supply, we used TripAdvisor as a guide and we had some fantastic meals in Puerto del Carmen, Playa Blanca and El Golfo.

"Spectacular views. Large spacious villa with great indoor and outdoor space. Great for a large family or for a couple like us. Really great location for exploring the whole island or to just relax by the pool and take in the views as we did. This is the ninth villa holiday we have had in lanzarote and would definitely recommend this property."

Geschmackvoll und viel Platz

Die Bilder halten, was sie versprechen. Das Haus ist schlicht und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Durch die offene Bauweise wirkt es auch innen sehr großzügig.

Durch die vielen Terrassen findet man immer ein geschütztes Plätzchen zum Sonnen, es sind ausreichend Liegen mit Auflagen vorhanden.

Der Pool würde, wie versprochen geheizt und 2 mal in der Woche gereinigt.

Das Haus liegt absolut ruhig und die Aussicht ist wunderbar.

wenn man in den Wintermonaten mietet, sollte man sich ein paar warme Pullover mitnehmen. Es sind zwei Radiatoren vorhanden, die allerdings durch die offene Bauweise nicht das ganze Haus wärmen können.

Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt.

Owner's Response: Wir machen viele Würfe für kalte Winterabende, aber immer warme Kleidung für Winterabende. Elektrizität auf der Insel ist extrem teuer. Um Ihnen eine Idee von 700 Euro für 2 Monate zu geben! Wir wollen nicht unsere Gäste aufladen, aber bitte erinnere dich an die wärmeren Abendkleider! We do provide plenty of throws for cold winter evenings but always take warm clothes for winter evenings. Electricity on the island is extremely expensive. To give you an idea about 700 euros for 2 months! We dont want to charge our guests, but please remember the warmer evening clothes!

Nice but damp.

Das (eigentlich schöne) Haus, erbaut vor etwas über 10 Jahren, hat leider ein massives Problem u. das ist Feuchtigkeit in den Wänden. Stark kellerartiger Geruch kann Ihnen beim Eintreten (gerade wenn eine Zeit lang nicht gelüftet wurde) den Atem verschlagen. Optisch macht sich die Nässe mit zentimeterdicken Ausblühungen aus dem Mauerwerk an vielen Stellen bemerkbar, teilweise fällt die Farbe bzw. der Putz großflächig von den Decken aber auch das feinstaubartige herabrieseln der Farbe von Flächen die sonst unverdächtig aussehen ist unangenehm u. hinterlässt eine feine weiße Staubschicht auf allen Flächen z.B. auch dem Sofa. Wenn die Eigner da nichts unternehmen – ist das Haus bald eine Ruine, schade. Weitere Kritikpunkte gäbe es bez. Ausstattung u. Schmutz, aber lassen wir das. Dear Penelope, dear Ian – to rent out this house in that condition is … ambitious.

Owner's Response: Ich habe diesen Bericht bis heute noch nicht gesehen! Wie schrecklich traurig, dass ein Gast so eine schreckliche Kritik an einer so schönen Villa schreiben kann! Der Winter war schrecklich nass im Jahr 2016 Anfang 2017 und viele Eigenschaften wurden überflutet und wurden feucht. Unsere Villa ist voller Zeit, ist nicht schmutzig, die Ausstattung ist sehr gut, die Villa selbst ist sehr gut gebaut. Ja, es gab Bereiche von Feuchtigkeit von Wasser-Intrustion NICHT VON ALLES SELBST !! Diese Gäste haben sich weder während des Aufenthalts noch mit unserem Management beschäftigt und deshalb konnten keine Probleme angesprochen werden. Wir sind dabei, die Villa im Moment neu zu dekorieren und Bereiche, in denen Wasser wegen starker Regenfälle eingegangen ist, werden besucht. Es ist jetzt zu spät, um die Gäste zu kontaktieren, aber darf ich ihnen vorschlagen, dass wir unser Eigentum erfolgreich gemietet haben und viele glückliche Gäste seit 10 Jahren haben, sind wir nicht ehrgeizig, nur ehrlich. I have not seen this review until today! How awfully sad that a guest can write such a horrible review of such a beautiful villa!! The winter was awfully wet in 2016 early 2017 and many properties were flooded and became damp. Our villa is managed full time, is not dirty, the equipment is very good, the villa itself is very well built. Yes there have been areas of damp from water intrustion NOT FROM ANYTHING ELSE!! These guests did not contact our management nor ourselves either during their stay and therefore any problems could not be addressed. We are in the process of having the villa redecorated at the moment and areas where water entered due to heavy rainfall are being attended to. It is now too late to contact the guests but may I suggest to them that having rented our property successfully and had many happy guests for the past 10 years we are NOT ambitious, just honest.

superbe maison

La maison est vraiment belle et agréable. C'est très spacieux et il y a tout le confort. En plus la vue est magnifique et la piscine un vrai plus! La situation géographique (Conil) est très pratique car en voiture tout est accessible à moins d'une heure de route (même le nord de l'île). C'est un endroit idéal pour passer de superbes vacances!!!!

Villa mit schönem Ausblick

Das Haus hat eine gute Lage, um die Insel zu erkunden. Es liegt 15 Minuten vom Flughafen entfernt oberhalb von Tias am Fuße eines Vulkankegels.Die Lage ist auf der Karte nicht ganz korrekt. Ein Auto ist unbedingt erforderlich. Man hat, durch die erhöhte Lage, einen sehr schönen Ausblick auf die Landschaft, Puerto del Carmen und das Meer bis Fuerteventura.

Das Haus bietet innen und außen viel Platz. Es gibt 3 Schlafzimmer: 2 große und ein kleineres mit zwei Betten, außerdem gibt es mehrere Terrassen. Die Fotos zeigen das Haus so wie es ist: modern, schön, viel Licht, schlichte, moderne Einrichtung, viel Platz. Leider gibt es kein Sat-TV. Durch die erhöhte Lage ist es dort windiger als in Puerto del Carmen.

Die Kommunikation mit der Vermieterin Penny verlief reibungslos und war sehr nett.

Das Haus bietet ein gutes Preis/ Leistungsverhältnis, wir würden es auf jeden Fall wieder mieten.

take the motorway from Arrecife airport and onto the LZ2. Follow signs for Yaiza. Take the exit for Conil and turn right up the hill to end of road which is a T Junction. Turn left and go straight through traffic calming lights leaving the church on your left. Continue up the hill and the 5th turning on the right is our street. El olivo is situated at the end of the road.

Local cuisine and tapas bars in Tias. International cuisine and local cuisine in Puerto del Carmen. The Timanfaya National Park is very close. The villa backs onto the La Geria wine region and is close to Tequise with its wonderful Sunday market, and the surfing beach at Famara.

Please be aware that water is in short supply on the island therefore when showering please be careful with the amount of water you use. Perhaps take a shorter shower or turn off the water between hair shampooing etc.

Electricity has become very expensive on the island the last year. The charges have nearly doubled. Therefore should you need to use a fan, or in the winter months a radiator, please be aware of the cost to the owners. We will be reviewing our price structure in due course to cover this but in the meantime please be aware of this. We are arranging for more throws and rugs to be provided but always take a jumper or pashmina and warm evening clothes during winter months.
