About Cynthia Jarvis
I spend most of my time as a Presbyterian minister in Philadelphia. The best way to find our more about me is to go to our website. Just google Presbyterian Church of Chestnut Hill or PCCH. I love what I do but I also love Maine. When I arrive in my cottage for the month of June or the week over Thanksgiving in November, I a purely happy and awash with gratitude.
Cynthia Jarvis purchased this Cottage in 2001
Why Cynthia Jarvis chose Bath
My first cottage was on Georgetown Island in Bay Point, looking over to Ft. Popham. I was where the Kennebec opened onto the ocean. I love it but had a brackish well, overboard discharge and only a woodstove for heat. If I were to retire in Maine, I knew I wanted to be in the same area but with city water and sewer! My saltbox in Bath is the best of both worlds. I am still on the Kennebec with easy access to amenities.
What makes this Cottage unique
I truly loved the light, the simplicity, the location and the neighborhood of a dead end street in Bath. It is so easy to explore the coast, enjoy a night in Portland, hike the Camden Hills or just read a book on my deck and listen for the fish to jump. It is my home and I hope you feel it is your home for the time of your stay.

The house was just perfect! There’s nothing better than waking up to that view and enjoy our coffee on the deck. We didn’t want to leave!
What a beautiful home in historic Bath, ME. The views were amazing! The sunrise was incredible. Lovely home with all amenities needed to make a good meal! Cynthia was a great owner and a pleasure to deal with, as well as being very responsive. Would stay there again if we ever spent time in Bath again. Thank you Cynthia!
Lovely waterfront cottage close to charming, historic Bath
My daughter and I had such a nice weekend at this pretty little cottage. The views of the Kennebec River are beautiful, the road is long and quiet for peaceful walks, yet you can easily head into town. The house is very comfortable, with two upstairs bedrooms, comfy beds, and a large bathroom. Kitchen is fully equipped. The town of Bath is so much fun; we had one great meal after another. Highly recommend it for a weekend trip; it's about fifteen minutes from Brunswick and Bowdoin, 30+ from Portland.
Beautiful sunny comfortable
We loved the location and proximity to everything. Thank you Cynthia. PS kitty loved it too
Not mere lodging, aplace that is a joy to stay in, a very homey home-away-from-home.
