Nice apartment at good location

  • 4 of 5

We spend 4 nights with 6 people in this lovely apartment situated in an old Roman building on the first floor.

It's located on walking distance from the mean railway- and Metrostation 'Termini" and there is a bus stop (line 492) in front of the apartment.

The bedrooms are very spacey, but the kitchen is a bit too narrow for 6 people. Unfortunally there's no living room so when you want to sit down together, you have to sit at the kitchen table.

The owner is very kind and helpful, the mail-contact is pleasant.

In the apartment is a map with suggestions for booking tickets, where to have meals and drinks, location for supermarket, etc.

When you want to see the Roman highlights, it's nice to go with a bike-trip (BAJA bikes) with a guide in your own language.

Visiting the Vatican Museum or the Colosseum is advised also with a guide, or eventually with a video-guide.

In Travestere we found an nice pizzeria called L’Insalata Ricca, Via Giulio Santini 12, Roma, 00153.

"We spent a delightful week in this spacious flat, we choose it for the second time since it is quite new, in a nice silent and typical building and central. We found it in good taste, well equipped, perfect as the first time, a year before. The bus stop in front of the building is really convenient : Rome historical centre is really big! groceries, patisserie & wonderful restaurants are nearby the apartment, the owner made a useful list, ask for it."

"We have just returned from a wonderful three days in Rome. The apartment was a great success - it was well furnished and well appointed and the location was in a frisky district we liked much. The owner has been very helpful and gave us a lot of tips about restaurants, 'pizzerias' and happy hour bars. Highly recommended."

Nice appartment in Rome.

  • 5 of 5

I have been with my family, including my 3 kids during 5 days in Rome. Being with 3 small kids in a big city is not so easy but renting this appartment hat by sure made our holidays much more relaxing. The appartment had everything we needed. Three big roms, 2 bathrooms, tv, a kitchen, wifi and very detailed instructions about where to eat, to go shopping and what to visit in the surroundings. The appartment is very well connected per bus and underground with Termini and the center of Rome. We can only recommend it and hope to come back to Rome very soon.

wonderful apartment, great location, good price!

  • 5 of 5

We just got back from four days in Rome. We were a party of 6 people and had three separate bedrooms. The apartment was immaculately clean, nicely furnished, the two bath rooms are in very good condition and the kitchen is fully equipped. The rooms are spacious, beds are comfortable. It was an ideal place for us. The place is near Termini train station which is a central hub of all public transportation and a few minutes walk only,a bus also stops in front of the building. The owner was easy to reach with any questions. She really went out of her way to make our stay pleasant. She even reserved car service for us to go back to the airport. We can strongly recommend this place especially for groups of people or big families. We will certainly return next time we visit Rome.

Nearest Train
850 Metres
10 minutes walk
Car: not necessary

It's very well connected by bus stop in front of the door, this bus cross all over historical centre! nearby underground: 800 meters to Termini station, 5-10 minutes by foot, and 900 mt to Piazza Vittorio, 5-10 minutes by foot.

the flat is in San lorenzo district, that is an historical neighbourhood often related to Trastevere for its lively and youthful atmosphere : during night swarm with people in and out of wine bars, of high quality restaurants and of characteristic ‘trattorie’.

In day time the district make over, the historical market place take place, the atelier open the rolling shutter, bars beside footpaths are crowded with students and tourist having cups of coffee.
