About the property



Island Breezez is a 2 bedroom, 2 full bathrooms ground floor, end unit with direct beach access and is the only unit in the complex with direct beach access.

When you walk out the door, you are only 15 yards from the beautiful water of the Caribbean Sea and you are 50 yards from the beautiful seaside swimming pool.

The living room has beautiful and amazing views of the Caribbean Sea.

A large flat screen TV with free cable and free Wi-Fi Internet access is available for our guests.

The master bedroom has a king size bed and has an ensuite bathroom.

The views of the Caribbean Sea are awesome from the master bedroom.

The guest bedroom or 2nd bedroom has a king size bed.

Both bedrooms have air conditioners, however, we rarely use them due to the steady off shore breezes that flow throughout the condo.

The 2nd full bathroom is across the hall from the 2nd bedroom.

The kitchen has granite counter tops with full size appliances. It has everything that you will need to make your stay comfortable and memorable including small appliances, microwave and coffee maker. And, of course, a blender for your wonderful Carribean cocktails.

Patios are called galleries in the Caribbean. Our 260 foot gallery is where we eat Fresco style and watch the incredible sun rises while drinking our coffee. We watch the sea planes take off and land in Christiansted Harbour. The view of the Caribbean Sea from the gallery is mesmerizing! You can also see the seaside swimming pool.

If you prefer dining inside, we have 4 stools for counter seating.

Since you walk out the door right onto the beach, you can stroll down our beaches, relax on the beach lounge chairs under the palm trees, have a cold beer or cocktail, get something to eat or go swimming. All of this just 50 yards from the condo!

There are 2 grocery stores within walking distance, along with several restaurants as well as fast food. From Island Breezez, it is just a short drive to some of the most beautiful and spectacular beaches in the world.

The condominium complex is a gated, secure and beachfront property.

It has a seaside swimming pool, tennis and basketball courts.

BBQ grills and on site laundry facilities are available for your use.

We recommend renting a vehicle. We are about a 5 to 7 minute drive from historic Christiansted.

Take a walk on the boardwalk where there are amazing restaurants, duty free shopping, historical buildings, art galleries and dive shops.

The pictures that you are viewing relating to the views of the Caribbean Sea, beach, pool and restaurant were taken from our condo. Please do not be mislead by pictures of other listed properties that look similar.

We purchased this condo for our retirement home in 2013. At which time, we completely remodeled the condo.

When we are not on our beautiful island of St. Croix, we are at home in Mesa, Arizona. Obviously living 3200 miles from our beloved condo, we can't manage it without help from our property manager, Sharon Early who works for Coldwell Banker St. Croix Realty. Please do not hesitate to ask her for anything that will make your stay more enjoyable and memorable.

A great experience from start to finish.

Even though we were renting a car, Sharon (the leasing Realtor) met us at the airport so we could follow her to Mill Harbour. There was a delay with Avis so Sharon drove my wife from the airport to Mill Harbour and to show her the lay of the land. When I got the rental car I struck out on my own but didn't get far before getting lost. Sharon kept in touch by phone and came and found me and I followed her and my wife to the condo. The condo (101 Mill Harbour) was clean and comfortable. When you open the doors to let wind through you do not need AC. It's only about 20 feet from the water so you can hear the waves lap on the shore from the unit. The only minor complaint is the impossible to adjust shower water temperature. Right now the cable isn't working due to the hurricane but they have wifi so you can use Roku or stick or any of those. We loved our stay!

Overall let down

Island Breezez had 1 good thing going for it - location. We were met at the airport and hustled into our car to follow our property manager to the location. This was around 11:00 O'clock at night. Her husband did help us pack our bags up and down stairs into the ground floor unit - yes - stairs on a ground floor unit. After we were inside the unit and probably 11:30 [pm] by then- we were told there are a few things about the unit we needed to know. The internet was 'iffy' (which we found out later is an island wide issue) - there was NO TV service - and it would not be fixed while we were there, the on property washer and dryer was fried by the storm and no idea when it would be fixed (seriously ? 3 months after the storm?)

The restaurant "right here on the property" was closed with no idea when it would open -BUT_ you can hike a 1/2 mile down the beach to one of the other Condo's restaurant - OH - and the air conditioner in the master bedroom doesn't work to good - but we'll try and get someone in to fix or replace it [[never happened in 2 weeks]] ..... So, welcome to Island Breezez, let us know if you need anything~! I was more than perturbed they knew about all this stuff before I even booked the place - and then waited to tell me until after we're there. I'm not sure if the Owner is aware of all this stuff - but I know the property manager was.

As it turns out - we needed to extend our 1 week stay. I knew the place was not booked, and because finding another place at the time was dang near impossible - we asked for an extension. Property manager agreed to it. I foolishly assumed we would get some kind of discount, since we were already there and there was no other request for the unit. NOT -

I thought surely the owner would offer some kind of compensation - NOT --- and shame on me for not raising cane about it -- I expected better and was rewarded by not complaining and keeping the place in decent condition.

Like I said, location is great - you can almost see the Christiansted board walk from the unit - you can see Hotel on the Cay -- you're close to everything. Unit does have a decent pool - but the unit is REALLY crowded for a 2 bedroom unit. Ants were a problem - but we bought a can of spray that did a pretty good job of keeping them at bay (fairly common for an island) but for what we were being charged - you could do a whole lot better.

Owner's Response: Dear Bill, I am sorry that you thought our condo was a "let down". We want all of our guests to have a wonderful and comfortable time while staying in our condo. The A/C unit has now been replaced with a new unit. The A/C unit in the master bedroom was a casualty of Hurricane Maria. While the a/c unit was not working to it's full capacity, it was working. When we are at our home, we rarely use the a/c. We just open the doors and let the trade winds in. However, we tried to buy and replace the unit before you arrived, but there were none available on the island at the time. If a guest has an issue or complaint about our condo, it is immediately resolved if it is reported to our property manager, Sharon. You did not report or complain about any issues that you were having regarding our condo. Sharon even checked in with you a few times during your stay to make sure everything was fine. You never informed her of any issues that you were having. You didn't even inform her that there were ants in the condo. If you had, we would have had it treated immediately. There are 5 stairs going up and 7 stairs going down to get into the condo. This is at every ground floor unit. They serve to keep the units from flooding during a hurricane. The restaurant on the premises was damaged during the hurricanes. No one can predict when it will re-open. However, the other restaurant is only .2 miles down the beach. What an amazing and beautiful walk! As for the condo being REALLY crowded, you previewed the pictures on our website before you arrived. Why would we offer compensation for you not complaining? We need to know when a guest has an issue so it can be resolved immediately. Why would we offer compensation for you keeping our condo in "decent condition"? We expect our guests to keep the condo clean. St. Croix was totally devastated by 2 category 5 hurricanes within 2 weeks of each other. Irma and Maria. It takes months to rebuild and to regain services, such as, power, water, cable, internet, etc. No one can predict when these services would be back on line. It takes months to get products back to the island to replace damaged items. I knew that you had been island hopping for several months. Since you were making a permanent move to St, Croix and had been in contact with several Realtors, I assumed you had many discussions about the status of services on the island. Regards, Rani (Owner)

Really enjoyed our anniversary in st.croix and in this unit.

Well, I decided to surprise my wife for our 13th wedding anniversary with a trip to St. Croix. Never having been to the Carribean I had no idea what to expect, but it looked pretty, and thought we might even consider getting an island getaway as part of our long term goal for retirement. So first, let me say huge props to Earl at R+R Realty. He spent many hours trying to get just what I thought my wife might want to be surprised with. He was amazing to deal with, very friendly, and helped us to get the perfect lication for us. Anyway St. Croix was beautiful, people were all friendly, loved Buck Island snorkel tour, the Fredericksted beaches, hiking up to the old light house or driving through the rainforest . It was not what expected but was a truly unique place if you want to just relax and step away from the routine. The restaurant and pool were about 150 ft away from my door that walked out onto the beach . Waitresses and barkeeps were great with some amazing cruzan rum .

Great simple food but yummy! Walk down the beach about a few complexes down not far maybe 150 yards is breezes, simply amazing food had the best 16 Oz tbone and herb roasted lobster with potatoes that it wa perfect topped with some great rum smooth drinks that were awesome. This unit for me and my wife was perfect it was right on the beach, gated, great proximity to Christiansted .It had some upgrades done to the unit with granite countertops , newer stove, good vanities and contemporary faucets.

Is it a 5 star , nope but it is perfect for many and location that can't be beat. I would rent it again any time. We are even considering purchasing a unit for future retirement as a great getaway.

Now ya have to drive on left here so just keep chanting for 2 days drive on left, drive on left and repeat...after that you will get it . Overall really enjoyed the layout of the unit the upgrades that were made were great choices with lots of beach touches including a lobster on the wall..Funny thing is we did end up with a little crab try and walk right in from the beach one day. We just scurried him out with a broom . It was really refreshing to be able to relax and enjoy. If you are looking for fast paced this isn't it...It is just a great place to getaway too and have a relaxing great time!

Earl you ROCK! This condo is very nice with lots of updates and extremely spacious (got a lot of privacy even with my sister next door) 😃 The beach is literally footsteps away as well as the pool and restaurant. The sea breeze was an added delight not much need for the air conditioner and fan that was available in the condo. I am a very picky eater so the convenience of cooking at home (although they are great places to eat) was excellent - the condo had everything I need for a home cooked meal. Some people complained about the iron bars I had no problem with them because that meant I could leave my doors open and let the fresh Caribbean breeze flow through. I absolutely love my vacation spent at Mill Harbor and look forward to spending future vacations there. Thanks a million Earl for the accommodations, suggestions and making me feel welcomed.

Mill Harbour Condo in July

The condo itself was very nice and roomy but I wish someone would have warned us about the GOD AWFUL SEAWEED AND SEAWEED SMELL- we stayed in the end unit which is right on the beach and water and was looking forward to enjoying swimming and suntanning right outside our condo--- THIS WAS NOT THE CASE- a parents in July seaweed washes ashore and you can't swim or even be outside during the day because the sun is baking the seaweed and it's a GOD AWFUL SMELL- so to enjoy the beautiful beaches we had to back up everyday and drive 15 minutes to the other town- had I known this I would have booked a condo in Fredenstked- as much as we liked the condo we couldn't enjoy any activities like tennis or basketball or swimming or suntanning

I feel bad that the sea grass onslaught was so bad during your stay. It is generally a very temporary issue...usually comes and goes very quickly but has been very bad lately... I guess the drought and high water temperature. It has been a problem all over the island as well as neighboring islands, Frederiksted , being on the West End seems to one of the few beaches spared. I heard Divi Resort actually had to close last week and move it's guests to the Bucaneer. Thanks again for staying with us, Earl
