I have lived in the Indiana / Kentucky / Tennessee area all my life and have always appreciated the beauty this area of the country has to offer. Currently living in Indianapolis, this property is a frequent get-away for me and provides access to all the area has to offer.

Owning a log home in the mountains has been a 15+ year dream. With both mountain views and lake-front access, this home gave me the rustic charm, newer / modern amenities and access to the hobbies I love.
Privacy and peace-quiet in a planned community. The home was built in 2005 along with many of the properties in the area. Home contains features that guests and travelers welcome such as a boat dock, fishing, in-house games and entertainment, and the beauty of a star-lit night sky. Home is spacious and provides ample room for large families, or several families that want to share a vacation property. In-room bathrooms provide the privacy when needed while common areas allow for gatherings to make a meal or other forms of entertainment.
Three large covered decks provide tables, porch swings, cooking grill, rocking chairs, and a hot tub for activities that can last all day.
Local attractions include Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, outlet mall shopping, golf, marinas, white-water rafting, and the Great Smokey Mountain National Park. Motorcycling or sports cars can take advantage of mountain roads and the Blue Ridge Parkway, about 50 miles to the Southeast.
Fans of Nascar can see the race at Bristol or football fans can patronize the Tennessee Vols.
With Knoxville's downtown about 40 miles to the west with dining, brew pubs and entertainment, evening entertainment is not hard to find.
Boaters can enjoy exploring the local TVA lakes
such as Cherokee, Douglas, Norris, Tellico and others.
Nice cabin. Lots of space
It was a beautiful house qith plenty of room. The view was wonderful. Scary getting up the mountainside, but worth the trip. We plan on staying there again.
My daughters found the cabin on the VRBO web site. Our families live in 3 different states and everyone was able to find the cabin with no problem!
John was great! He kept in touch and always answered my messages and phone calls.
The cabin was very spacious and very comfortable. The kitchen was awesome. We were able to cook three meals everyday and had plenty of dishes, pots and pans, and utensils. We used the gas grill to cook our dinners. There was plenty of room for everyone to sit at the dining room table which seats 8.
On the first floor, there are 2 bedrooms, kitchen, dining room, and living room. Downstairs, there were 2 bedrooms, living area, refrigerator, sink, pool table, and ping pong table. All 4 bedrooms have a king size bed and bathroom. There were plenty of towels and linens for everyone.
It was great having the cabin on a lake. There was a marina that was 15 minutes from the cabin and we rented a boat and raft. Everyone had a great time!
John also recommended watching a sunset!! It was beautiful!
I think renting the boat and spending time on the lake was everyone's favorite activity!!
I definitely recommend this place!
John was great!
My family had a very comfortable stay at this homey and nicely built rental home. We especially liked the porch swings on the front and back porches, as we had 2 one-year-olds with us. The back porch is mostly screened in, so no bugs! The Polaris was very handy for getting to the dock, where we tied up a rental pontoon boat. Unfortunately, I gave myself tennis elbow playing ping-pong, but I was the champion of the family :)
Our family had a wonderful time at this cabin. The owner was available to answer questions almost immediately. The cabin is very well cared for and you can't beat the cove it sits on. Such a great time. Highly recommend this property!
Excellent cabin - very clean and comfortable. Family of 12, of all ages, 2k16 family vacation. Beautiful lake, rented a boat down the road. The ATV was so useful back and forth to the dock, boating and fishing. Well equipped kitchen, plenty of seating. The owner was very responsive throughout the process. We will definitely come back!
