I have a private, quiet & elegantly furnished luxurious guest/suite. It is large, loft like and as comfortable as home. It is a perfect spot for everything you need and anywhere you want to go in Santa Monica. It a safe, quiet and in very convenient area. And my place is licensed by the city for short term rentals (which are otherwise not legal in Santa Monica) and I comply with all local laws.

One recent guest, best described it as... "it feels like being at a hotel but also at a friend's or family's house". Another experienced VRBO'er shared..."it was better than expected and the nicest we ever stayed in...it had everything we needed to be comfortable"!

Walk to everything - no need for a car -- Great restaurants, Beach, The Santa Monica Pier, The Promenade, 3rd Street, Venice, Main Street, Farmers Markets, "locals only" new Wilshire Boulevard great restaurant options, Montana Blvd., Broad Theatre/Stage, UCLA Hospital - Everything is easy by walking, biking or taking an UBER/Taxi or Bus!....

Local tips/suggestions better than any concierge ("which makes sense as the fancy hotels' concierges don't live here" per a recent guest!), Bikes, beach towels/bags & even Tommy Bahama backpack Beach chairs with built in coolers and a place to come back to and feel totally comfortable! Sit in front of the fireplace and warm up from a day at the beach! What makes this apartment unique

I have a license to rent short term and long term. This is a requirement in Santa Monica. While not the lowest cost, I provide the best amenities and a value for the money that few else can deliver. Read the reviews! They are objective and real and all 5 star. If you are like me, I am picky about where I would stay and maintain that standard for my guests!

Great spacious apartment in brilliant location

We really enjoyed this apartment. Scott and Randi were great hosts and couldn't have been more welcoming. The apartment was spacious and comfortable, although the kitchen was a bit small for catering for a number of guests. However, there was an excellent gas barbecue in the garden where we had use of a table with 6 chairs. We sat out for breakfast and evening drinks every day. The location was great for us as we could walk wherever we needed to go, including 3rd Street Promenade and various restaurants. We would definitely come again.

Absolutely fantastisc! 👍

Great location, close to everything you’ll need. Scott always kind and helpful in anything we wanted or wondered about, and lent us his bikes when we needed. Especially enjoyed Farmers Market on Wed/Sat/Sun with fresh organic fruits and vegetables! If you’re a runner, the house is within running distance to the famous Santa Monica stairs, if you really want to test your stamina!

The appartment will definitely meet your’re needs!

Our new Home away from Home in Santa Monica

As you read the reviews for Scott's property, all are accurate and well deserved. The property is as described, two bedrooms with multiple beds, large living room, separate dining room and a well appointed kitchen. Scott made it clear that if we needed ANYTHING, he most likely had it at his living space upstairs, but we needed nothing as Scott has thought things through. The master bedroom is situated at the back of the unit which allows for a quite and restful sleep. The unit has AC which not needed a lot due to the milder weather in Santa Monica, we like to sleep in a cooler room so it was great to be able to control the level of AC. Parking was not a problem as Scott provides a street parking pass, and if no street parking, there is space behind the building for parking. The level of attention to even little details was beyond expectation; printer for printing boarding passes, reading glasses and flashlight in the nightstand by the bed, fresh donuts delivered in the morning...the list goes on. We will never stay at a hotel again....this is truly our new home away from home when visiting Santa Monica.

Couldn't ask for a more perfect experience!

Scott was the most gracious host! Not only was the home extremely clean, comfortable and in the perfect location, Scott went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect and that we experienced all of the wonderful things Santa Monica has to offer. We stayed with our one year old daughter and the house is even perfectly equipped for children! I highly recommend this for anyone! 5+ stars!

Look No Further This is it!

We searched long and hard to find a place suitable for us and our small children (2 months and 2.5 years). We needed a few amenities to feel at home along with a location that was within walking distance to where we wanted to be. Scott's house, i guarantee will fulfill your every need. The large living space is a great space to flop after a long day at the beach or wandering the beautiful farmers markets and streets of Santa Monica. We even had friends over for a BBQ one night and sat at the beautiful dining room table. We would often take the bus between SM and Venice with the kids as our little one loved the experience and it was very convenient. Scott was there for our every need: best places to go, eat, walk, beach etc. He left us little gifts each day, including berries, fresh tomatoes straight from the market, out of this world doughnuts from Side Car (must go), and delicious chocolate treats. Oh and how could i forget the wine on arrival as well. We are already dreaming of returning to California and our son had tears in his eyes leaving behind his 'California house" and Scott's adorable three dogs. Enjoy this special place: of all the places we've traveled, this one will always be tops in our hearts.
