We are 20 minutes to skiing at Bellayre Mountain- 35 minutes to Hunter.
This house is a great place to gather together as a group, celebrate an occasion, be alone, read a book..write a book. Sit in the Orchard and take in the country light, the twilight, the stars.
I moved to Woodstock in 2001 from the City. I went back and forth from Manhattan for several years. I am now a full time resident working in Sales so I travel quite a bit for business. I love the Hudson Valley and all that it offers.

The peace, the quiet, stars and mountains and wildlife - plus the vibrant local community.
Seriously...peace and quiet. It has it's own unique charm. It is not a luxury property... it is simple and cozy and really beautiful.
The house is lovely and tucked away on a quite country road. Yet within an easy drive to hikes, restaurants and site. The tub is to die for !
Beautiful property! Very comfortable house, beautifully decorated, and Katrina was very attentive to our needs. Close to the center of Woodstock and many parks. My family and I had a wonderful stay.
Everything in the listing was exactly as described and then some. Our host Katrina was fantastic and provided so much information and advice about places to try and things to do including some good restaurants (a few of which we tried and really enjoyed). The house is very charming, inviting and such a respite from the daily grind and city life. We were impressed not only by the design choices but by the deceptive size of the property. The scenic enclosed porch overlooking the orchard is breathtaking and a place you can lose yourself in deep thought or an enlightening conversation. The individual rooms are beautiful, comfy and you feel right at home. If you plan on visiting Woodstock this is the place the stay. I hope to be coming back soon.
You won’t be disappointed; this farmhouse exudes personality and charm. The property is so tranquil as well is the entire neighborhood. The screened porch is great to hang out on and look at the great scenery and mountain in the background. If you have any questions or need anything Katrina is very prompt to help out. We highly recommend staying at this great property.
My husband and I stayed here for our first trip away from our kids in 6 years! It was just what we were looking for: quiet, peaceful, beautiful, and comfortable. The house was lovely and the details were perfect. The fireplace was cozy and the large bathtub was heavenly. The kitchen had everything we needed too. The decor was charming and perfectly suited for a modern farmhouse. Katrina was very responsive and made sure we had everything we needed. We could have stayed for much longer and hope to return in the future!
My wife and 2 year old daughter had a great week in this house. It is on a very quiet street and has beautiful grounds and views from the back of the house. We enjoyed walking down the old woods road in the back to a nice stream and going for walks/runs up the road. The house is very close to a number of hiking trails and natural attractions, and convenient to Bearsville and Woodstock.
Located in historic Woodstock NY we are close to amazing Restaurants, Leaf Peeping, Galleries, Yoga, Farm Stands, Live Music , Independent Cinema, the ever popular Woodstock Film Festival, Woodstock Writers Festival, Tibetan and Zen Budhist Monasteries, Hiking, Biking, Skiing, Snow Shoeing, Tubing, Fishing, Wineries, Live Theater, Thriving Local Shops- Local Butchers, Candle Makers and Local Crafts. This house is easily accessible to Rhinebeck, Kingston, Hudson, Stone Ridge and High Falls. If you want a taste of all that the Hudson Valley has to offer this is a great starting point. Plus the mountains, streams, air, light, and owls gently hooting at night. Our sweet house is very quiet and peaceful.
