Beach of Cala Tarida: it is particularly pleasant. Very busy in summer, I recommend you to go there from 4:00 p.m. The atmosphere is pretty amazing and you will great there in any season. It is also possible to escape on one of the adjacent coves to peacefully relax. Around 10 restaurants of all types are waiting for you especially “Ses Eufabies” which terraces go down the beach 10 m from the sea. The staff is charming and the sangria is delicious. Here you can enjoy legendary sunsets and in some seasons, you can glimpse Spain: majestic! More chic and on an overlooking location: Cas Mila or Posta de Sol with stunning views. The terrace of Can Yuca is also very pleasant (avoid the pizzas!). The beach bars (fresh fruit juice) with small markets are appreciated after a game of beach volley-ball or a scuba diving or water skiing day.
All the other beaches: note that a shuttle serves the other beaches from Cala Tarida
In Ses Eufabies or Cas Mila on Cala Tarida or simply on the beach
Must see: Kumharas in Cala de Bou is a spectacular place with sublime sunsets by the beach rocked by the lounge music before a delicious fusion cuisine.
Of course Café del Mar and its neighbours to celebrate the spectacular sunsets: the show above all.
Scuba diving at 700 m: I recommend the dynamic and nice Club Orcasub in Insole Club on Cala Tarida. All the diving spots are in the nature reserve of Cala d’Hort.
Orcasub Ibiza is exactly located in the centre of this nature reserve so this is why the sailing time does not exceed 15 minutes on average.
Amongst the 30 diving spots, we must underline the diversity of the seabed: Conejera Canyon, Es Vedra, La Bota, Islas Margarita, Las Bledas and many others.
Come admire the vertical walls where you will see wonderful red gorgonians, canyons, immerged mountains, caves, etc.
On all sites you will see moray eels, barracudas, groupers, nudibranchs, octopus, scorpion fish, forkbeards, lobsters and cuttlefish amongst others.
The crystal-clear water of Ibiza guarantees a visibility of 30 m. In summer, water reaches 28°.
Walks: if you love walking with spectacular panoramas, you will be delighted. You only have to get off the bitten tracks and you will enjoy wonderful nature where you will not see anybody. You must climb to the top of Sa Talaia at the end of the day to enjoy the sunset and the views of the 2 slopes of the island (car access indicated towards San José).
Many paths run along the sea and the cliff (easy to medium level)
The paths on the ramparts of the old town are also a must see. There are some good restaurants there.
Beach restaurants and lounge clubs: Blue Marlin Ibiza (expensive) and many others. You can see them during a walk and let yourself be charmed.
Shopping: for fashion or classic shopping lovers, Ibiza will truly delight you. There are many fashion boutiques and small markets.
Formentera: take the small water shuttle (aqua bus) in Playa d’en Bossa or Figueretes (Ibiza) and spend a day in Formentera: ride a bike or a moped to discover the white sandy beaches and the emerald sea with breathtaking views.
Spa and thalassotherapy: Hotel Hacienda Ibiza is a must see. Enjoy the waterfalls then enjoy a delicious light meal by the cliff or the pool. There are also bedrooms and suites (expensive but worth it).
Please ask the website for 360° virtual visits, many details and different addresses
Night clubs: for those who love it, we have the most beautiful night clubs of the world. A nigh bus will take you to Cala Tarida.
We loved the privacy and quietness of the villa, and the views are brilliant. The pool was lovely, and was cleaned regularly through the week. It's a short walk to a small supermarket and a little further to the town and beach. would recommend for anyone looking for a relaxed place to sleep with easy access to beaches and places to party
We very much enjoyed our stay in Casa Vista Mar with our young children.
It is tucked away to the rear of a pleasant and quiet residential/vacation area. The views to the front of the villa are outstanding and we spent much of our time lazing by the wonderful pool enjoying the serenity and listening to the birdsong.
This villa was VERY clean on arrival and well maintained throughout our stay with a thorough clean midway through by 2 maids. Also the pool man and gardener visited - very discreetly - every other day.
Rooms are generous and well laid out - particularly if you are sharing with other family members.
The villa was very well equipped - so much has been thought of.
If it's 5* luxury and contemporary furnishings you are looking for then this is not the place for you...BUT...the villa is homely, comfortable, well furnished and practical - everything you need as a young family to enjoy your holiday without worrying about white sofa's and too many breakables to be able to relax!
It was lovely to be able to wander down to Coral Mar from the villa most days..a very pretty little 'port' where you can sit in the sun and watch boats of all shapes and sizes come and go. (5 mins walk max)
On the way down the hill to Coral Mar is a little restaurant/cocktail bar where you can order pizza (takeaway also), pasta, salads and burgers - the usual standard fare. An easy walk for an evening drink! Although we didn't manage a visit as you are spoilt for choice for eateries locally...The Cotton Club and Ca's Mila are a must.
The supermarket down the hill from the villa ( only 3mins walk or so) is superb! The lady there speaks fluent English, French and Spanish and is very friendly. She has just taken over the business from her father-in-law and is wanting to make a real success of it - as such the shop is VERY well stocked! She has a great selection of all you might need. In particular there are freshly baked breads, croissants, pain au chocolat available each day and I highly recommend you pre-order a roast chicken for a Sunday...absolutely delicious!
Communication with the owner was very easy. Patrick is very friendly and responds promptly to any queries you might have. It is the first time we have ventured from the 'package' holiday so we were a little anxious to begin with but we are converted!
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Casa Vista Mar....I very much hope to return.
Amazing Villa! Great house for sharing with a very good distributions of the bedrooms.Incredible views from the pool and the balcony. It was difficult to find by the taxis so definitely recommend car rental but also nice to be away from the apart aments and have the retreat feeling. Our first time but we will come back soon!
If you're looking for a villa in Ibiza with superb views, easy access to the beach and shops, then this villa is for you.
We stayed in Casa Vista Mar for 10 days in August and the pictures didn't do it justice.
Air-con in two of the main bedrooms.
Support from the villa management company.
5 minutes away from the new Cotton Beach restaurant (a must!).
No negatives with the villa, only that you have to walk to the nearest hotel (Hotel Club Tarida) 5 minutes away to order a taxi.
I'd certainly recommend this villa and stay here again.
The house is really nice with everything you need for your vacation. We enjoyed the quite area and the astonishing view from nearly every room every day!
The communication with the owner was friendly and very good and everything was organized perfectly. The contact person in Ibiza was friendly and could be easily reached.
A nice beach is 5 minutes drive away.A supermarket to get some fresh bread in the morning is also a drive of a couple of minutes away.
Ibiza is one of the most beautiful islands with great beaches and restaurants!
We really enjoyed our vacation in this house and highly recommend it!
