Located in a lovely scenic area just a touch South of San Luis Obispo, a little North of Pismo and Shell Beach, and a little East of Avila Beach is this lovely vacation destination home. Residence is a custom luxury estate on 8.6 acres with approximately 3600 s.f. This custom built home has with five bedrooms and four bathrooms. Gourmet kitchen features professional grade appliances which include two ovens, warming drawer, wall mounted over-the-stove faucet, large center island with prep sink and large pantry. Other interior features include, open floor plan with vaulted ceilings, three fireplaces, wood floors in common areas, bathrooms w/ Limestone and Travertine floors and Marble countertops, surround sound system with two zone controlling and central air conditioning. Outdoors you'll find a top of the line built-in kitchen with Santa Maria style rotisserie grill with gas starter, (with oak wood), gas grill, small refrigerator, bar with chairs, work areas, sink and warming drawer. Other outdoor amenities include a glass rock fire pit, lots of seating, Jacuzzi-style spa, large grassy areas, sand pit for practice with your sand wedge or...and beautiful lighting for evening entertainment.

Lovely, peaceful villa in the hills

Our group of 6 friends enjoyed a lovely stay at Casa Monte for the new years weekend.

We thoroughly enjoyed the sitting room off the kitchen, the living room with fireplace and master bedroom. The adjacent bedrooms were nicely spaced to afford some privacy. The kitchen is grand and although we didn't cook meals, the island was lovely for wine tasting and appetizers each afternoon. nice glasses/dishes/serve-ware.

Clean, quality linens, wonderful views, nice fire pit, Jacuzzi and very local to SLO , Avila Beach and Paso.

Suggestions would be condensed directions for TV in family room-very complicated to operate.

Additionally we would not expect for the high rent and housekeeping fee required to have to strip beds before leaving, bus towels and trash, making the last day a rather stressed morning with details upon check-out.

Great property for large groups, families and older folks as is one flat level home.

Just WOW!

After some scrambling and last, minute adjustments to our plans - due to the Napa/Sanoma wild fires, we could not have asked for a more amazing and relaxing week in the SLO county. The house was exactly what we all needed and MORE! Location wise, the house is perfectly situated between excellent wineries, breweries, and amazing small beach towns (not more than 15min away). We were 6 adults in a house that could easily accommodate 10 people. The house has big bedrooms, big kitchen, two living areas, and dining area, which is complemented by a GREAT outdoor area which includes a hot tub, fireplace, basketball net, gas and wood fire grill, all in excellent condition and well maintained. We had a wonderful time with excellent weather, and will certainly return. Thanks again for the wonderful opportunity at short notice. You have a wonderful house and we would certainly recommend it to anyone travelling to the SLO area.

What a beautiful home! So beautifully furnished.

Nicely furnished and decorated. The yard is gorgeous. Great house for a large group. Would like the kitchen to maybe have more pots and pans and storage containers. The house was so lovely we cooked in.

Comfortable family size home. Great for groups

The house is very comfortable and perfect for a group of 10. It has 5 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms, so each had their private areas. Wonderful kitchen with a lot of utensils and pans. Two eating areas - we liked the circular table. The hot tub in the yard was much appreciated. It was nice to have two rooms for relaxing. I highly recommend this property. It was clean and well maintained. We took several day trips to Nipomo, Guadalupe, Solvang, Avila Beach, Morro Bay, and San Luis Obispo. Shopping for groceries in San Luis Obispo was fairly close (7-8 miles).

Fantastic get away with the whole family!

Our family of 9 had a fantastic holiday at this beautiful house. Very large kitchen, separate large dining area, 2 living rooms, 4 good sized bedrooms with 3 bathrooms and a HUGE master bedroom, HUGE walk-in closet and HUGE ensuite. Outside was also a beautiful place to hang-out, sit by the gas-fire in the evening, BBQ or have a relaxing time in the hottub.

Close to Pismo Beach for activities and close to San Luis Obispo to get our groceries.

The house was clean, had 2 washers and dryers and lots of towels for the whole family.

The younger ones loved the basketball hoop outside!

We would definitely go back here!!

Wonderful house for family get together

We met for three nights here with half of us coming from LA, the other half from SF. The house was perfect. Great kitchen and entertainment areas inside, wonderful patio for BBQ and relaxing, plenty of space for the kids to enjoy. We spent one day at Avila Beach, another renting ATVs, and another in SLO - all within 15 minutes from this lovely country setting. Highly recommended!
