Specious 3 bedroom in the heart of the Lower East Side

Perfect for large groups, this oversized 3 bedroom apartment featuring 2 full bathrooms sits in the heart of LES. The Lower East Side is bordered in the south and west by Chinatown (which extends north to roughly Grand Street), in the west by NoLIta, 12 min from SoHo.

This unit has 3 queen sized beds which sleep 6 guests. In the living room you will find a pull out sofa bed which can sleep 2 more adults as well as a 46 inch flat screen TV with digital cable. The kitchen is also equipped with a gas top range, oven, refrigerator, microwave oven, coffee maker, toaster and W/D unit. There is dining and silverware for up to 8 guests provided.

Two towels per bed are provided as well as 1 set of backup linens. The apartment is also equipped with high speed WIFI service. There is a Washer/Dryer in the unit.

Sleeping for 8, dining for 8, two full bathrooms and perfectly located, this beautiful home has everything you could possibly want for a stay in New York City.

Close to F train (Delancey) and J, M, Z trains (Essex).

Once a notoriously overcrowded and unsanitary slum, the Lower East Side is now one of Manhattan’s most fashionable neighborhoods. Most of the bargain-clothing stores and pickle vendors have given way to indie boutiques and sceney eateries, though there are a few cherished survivors of the former Jewish stronghold, including venerable smoked-fish purveyors Russ & Daughters and pastrami legend Katz’s Delicatessen. The Tenement Museum keeps the neighborhood’s history alive in a series of restored apartments visited via themed guided tours, but most of the area’s cultural draws are contemporary: The arrival of the New Museum on the Bowery several years ago drew numerous art galleries to the LES.

The Lower East Side is the home to many private parks, such as La Plaza Cultural. Neighborhood is safe at night, and it has become a popular late night destination. Orchard, Ludlow and Essex between Rivington Street and Stanton Street have become especially packed at night.

O apartamento é muito confortável e limpo! Excelente! O prédio foi reformado e está como novo! Estadia muito tranqüila! Valeu a pena! O bairro é mais afastado do centro, mas com fácil acesso através do metro que fica cerca de 5 quadras pequenas! Não é um bairro glamuroso, mas pareceu sempre muito seguro, com uma delegacia de polícia na própria rua! Para quem quer sair a noite o bairro oferece muitos pubs e barzinhos bem próximos do apartamento, bem movimentado no final de semana. Recomendo e voltaria com certeza!

The apartment was neat, clean and comfortable. We had 7 adults wo we were snug but we were good.

We appreciated the elevator, finding a place that wasn't sky high expensive with an elevator was a feat. The building looks to be recently rehabbed and the apartment is neat and efficient with many cubbies to stash your things but visible so nothing will be forgotten when you leave. If you go out towards Houston Street you can walk through nice neighborhoods and find many small restaurants and finally a Whole Foods Market 20 plus minutes away by foot.

Clean, comfortable and convenient!

The apartment was not the one pictured, but I assume it's in the same building as the layout is very similar and the furnishings almost identical. There was enough room for 6 adults and 2 kids (on the sofa bed) and we didn't feel cramped. The beds were comfortable and the space clean with plenty of closet space. Having a washer & dryer available was really handy. Air conditioners are in every room, which is a Must in June, and the elevator made getting to the 2nd floor and rooftop easy. We didn't meet Tatianna, but her cleaning lady is nice and allowed us to leave our luggage in the apartment prior to check in. The location is very convenient with lots of great restaurants and shops nearby. Getting around is easy with the subway just a few blocks away. Every evening, there were several men with a few large dogs loitering in front of the building which made my 10 year old niece a bit nervous (she's afraid of dogs), but they were always polite and we felt pretty safe. The roof space is a nice area to enjoy the city lights at night. I would definitely recommend the apartment and would love to stay there again!

NYC vacation with family

We were a group of 6 adults heading to NYC on a week-long vacation. The apartment was PERFECT for us. 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms? You can't ask for more in Manhattan. We were able to drop off our luggage as soon as we got there, even though the cleaning lady was still finishing up. Very clean space, and very warm blankets (a must on those cold winter nights). The apartment was close to quite a few good places to eat (Black Cat LES was a regular stop in the mornings), but then again you can find amazing food almost anywhere in NYC. Just a few blocks from the subway, very easy to get around. we never felt unsafe in the neighborhood, and are planning to possibly go again next year. Until then NYC!

Good apartment and location

The apartment was fine for our party of four in relation to space and location. Close to subway, shops, cafes. It was a pity that the owner was not more customer friendly. We arrived late and she had not given us the apartment number. So we had to telephone her late at night.

The following morning there was an issue with the front door key. We did not have one. We were requested to go to the hard wear store and get keys cut. Following a few telephone calls it was eventually agreed that the owners boyfriend would undertake this task. He proved to be more customer focussed and brought the keys to us whilst we had breakfast in a local cafe.

We also reported a few issues to the owner, e.g. Blocked sink, need for bulbs to be replaced. These issues were not addressed during our stay,

Overall we had a good holiday, despite the poor response of the owner in meeting our requests.

Owner's Response: Guests were very clean and left apartment in a good condition, and owner appreciates respect to the property. To comment the above review. Management sent (and usually sends to all guests) detailed instruction for the check-in prior to the guests arrival, kindly asking to give owner a call from the airport to notify the owner that guests are landed fine and they are on their way to the apartment with no delays, ESPECIALLY when guests come not in the cheek-in time and late, 12 am is not an easy time for the check-in arrangement (upon that phone call owner gives detailed info about apartment number). These particular guests did not think the phone call was necessary and called when they were downstairs, leaving no time for the person that was meeting them to prepare for their arrival. Prior to the guests arrival owner had to change the locks in the apartment (with actual concern of the guests comfort), duplicate keys were not made right away because all the businesses were close at that time. Next morning the earliest time to duplicate key was 9am (that is the time hardware store opens) Guests were in a rush to go out earlier than 9 am. Owner did not ask guests to make copy of the keys themselves, but ask them if they can pick up made keys later on (on their way back to the apartment) from the hardware store, located on the corner of the next bock. As the guests did not like the option the owner ask them to notify the owner when they will be coming back from the day trip, so owner can meet them at the apartment with the new set of keys, that didn't seem to be an option either. After all misunderstanding the owner had to find the way to satisfy guests "right away!" as the guests were not willing to understand the situation. Also, after guests moved out, the key for the front for was missing, which is listed as to be a penalty of $50 under the property rules and agreement...guests were not charged for that. After all , it was just small morning key misunderstanding, and owner is glad the apartment itself was very stable for the guests.

Good adult place

We enjoyed our stay, rooms were comfortable. Could use a few additions like wine glasses, ice trays, Would have been nice to have a few suggestions on where to shop, Essex street market is great. Living space is small but was still able to have 10 people for brunch. Was great that it had an handicap accessibility. Would use again

Fantastic Rental!

6 of us stayed here for my 40th birthday for 3 nights. The apartment was clean, except for a few ants which we were given Raid for. The beds were comfortable, plenty of space, the bathrooms were roomy and very functional. We were never given any paper towel or extra toilet paper. We had to buy our own, we would have brought some from home, had we known. We brought food, paper plates and cups with us so we did not always have to use glass, especially because we ate breakfast on the rooftop in the mornings & had drinks in the evening. They rooftop had random chairs & a table up there, totally functional and beautiful views. It was near a bodega, 7-11 and Dunkin Doughtnuts & the subway(all within walking distance) There are many places to eat within walking distance. We would stay here again in a heartbeat. You park out front but MUST pay attention to the no standing signs which apparently means no parking as well. We got a ticket which we are disputing. We all were very pleased with this property!
