Located between Rue des Dames and Rue Legendre, this 38m² one-bedroom apartment is a few steps away from the green Park Monceau and its nice gates. This area is part of a very selected and privileged area three metro stations away from Place de l’Etoile and the famous Avenue des Champs Elysees. Also not far are the sophisticated Avenue Montaigne with its luxurious shops, the famous parisian department stores and the superb Place de la Concorde. All around there are diverse sorts of very nice shops, traditional and celebrated restaurants, cafes, cinemas, open-air markets with the renowned Rue de Levis and supermarkets.
This charming one-bedroom and a lounge apartment is located on the fourth floor of a 19th century walk-up building. The main entrance gate is protected by a security system.

We stayed in this apartment for an extended weekend, and we were pleasantly surprised by what it had to offer. It was clean, comfortable, with a small kitchenette, and fairly quiet. Surrounded by numerous little shops, a market and shopping street, and located between two metro lines, it is situated in fantastic location and it's easy to explore Paris from here. The famous Moulin Rouge is only 15 mins walking distance away, and you can see Sacre Coeur from the main road running parallel to the street of the apartment. The owner, who lives in the same house, is very nice and we will definitely be back again! Thank you very much for an amazing little holiday.
Three of us stayed in this wonderful apartment for a week, one joining us for a few days.
The photos do not do it justice. The apartment is very well kept and there is a huge amount of space. The lounge would comfortably seat 10 people. The two bedrooms are spacious with very comfortable beds, and having a full bathroom together with a separate shower and a separate toilet was a real bonus. The kitchen is very well equipped, not only with all the usual appliances but also much more crockery, utensils and pans than you will need.
It is all extremely well maintained and clean.
A further bonus is that being on the ground floor, four of the rooms have direct access to a small outside garden area. All this at the rental that is currently being asked seems to me to be one of the best deals in Paris.
We only had email contact with the owner, but all done extremely efficiently. Emails were responded to very quickly and she gave us lots of further detail and information about the apartment, the local area and Paris. Even organising payment was done to make life as simple as possible for us.
We arrived by train, to Paris Nord and walked to the apartment in about 15 minutes. The local streets are busy, with street sellers selling smoked fish, vegetables and actually roasting peanuts on the street. For those of us visiting from a small Northern English town it was very different, but we loved it.
Once you enter the apartment building you leave all that behind and enter a haven of peace and tranquility.
The Spar shop opposite the front door is excellent and provides most food you might need, competitively priced. It was closed on Sunday, but open right through the day on every other day. We also used the nearest boulangerie, turn left out of the apartment building and walk to the first corner, less than a minute. The larger CarreFour supermarket is within 5 minutes walk. Turn right out of the front door and walk up to Boulevard Barbes, turn right again and you are there.
The location is just outside the main Montmartre area, about 10-15 minutes walk from Sacre Coeur. It means that you do need the Metro or a bus to get in to the centre of Paris. Both of these transport systems are within a few minutes walk. The big advantage of being out here is that you do not pay tourist prices in the shops.
We had a fantastic week staying in this apartment and would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone else.
The listing was as described, it is on the 4th floor of a lovely old building with spiral staircase.
We stayed here for 3 nights with our two daughters, the apartment is quite small but has everything you could possibly need. The owner Herve was very helpful, we were lost when we arrived and he came to find us, helped us find parking nearby and even helped with our luggage which was very much appreciated.
The apartment is in a great location, the metro "Villiers" is within minutes walk and we were in central Paris within 10-15 minutes, there is also a number 30 bus which takes you directly to the Eiffel Tower.
There are towels provided and the kitchen is well stocked with the basic essentials such as coffee, sugar, seasonings etc. The apartment was very clean and although in some areas needed some attention, this did not matter because it added to the character of the property.
There are plenty of shops near the apartment, and the "Boulangerie Nature" has the best french bread!
We would recommend the "Bistro de Vignes" just round the corner from the apartment, we had a lovely meal there and the food was amazing and was reasonably priced.
In our three days, we were mostly out and about and the apartment served its purpose, somewhere comfortable to recharge our batteries!
Paris itself was fantastic, but very over priced near the tourist attractions, we would definitely recommend bringing water and snacks with you before setting off.
We would certainly recommend this property to others who want to visit Paris!
We were very pleased with this small, but cozy apartment. The location could not have been better (a real Parisian neighborhood, convenient to almost everything), and the owner responded promptly to all inquiries and was a pleasure to deal with. We stayed here for four nights with two adult and two kids. Quarters were a bit cramped, but not a big deal. Would be perfrect apartment for two adults. Beds are extremely comfortable. Highly recommended.
We got an immediate response from the owner who was extremely helpful. There was no hassle in booking the apartment which was very homely. We felt like Parisians during our stay. We were able to park our car on the street right next to the apartment which was convenient. The metro is located very close which was easy to use to get around all of Paris. Moulin Rouge is located a short walk from the apartment. There are heaps of cafe's and restaurants in the area. We loved getting up in the morning and going down to buy a fresh baguette to have for breakfast. The owner also recommended to us other parts of France to visit which have been amazing. I'd like to say a big thank you to the owner. A pleasure meeting him.
This apartment couldn't have been better. Great location near shops, restaurants and a beautiful park. Lovely and warm on the coldest weekend of the year. Herve responded to all my email questions quickly and comprehensively. A home away from home. We loved it!
Rue de Saussure is located just by the side of the very famous and typical open market of rue Levis. It is located near between Montmartre and Champs-Elysées and at the corner of Parc Monceau. You'll find lot of restaurants, café terrace, parks, shops.
The neighbourhood is very safe.
