Beautiful 2 bedroom second floor apartment in a luxury gated, secure complex at Bahia de Marbella between Los Monteros and Marbella. This beach side development sits in one of the most prestigious areas of the Costa Del Sol. Only a 3 minute walk to an unspoiled beach where you can enjoy the tranquility of one of the best fish restaurants in the area located right on the beach. The apartment is set in magnificent landscaped sub-tropical gardens where you can relax around one of the 5 swimming pools (one heated in winter) or take a stroll around the extensive Japanese style gardens, beautiful at all times of the year with abundant water features and amazing plants and flowers. A quiet and peaceful location, yet only minutes away by car from Marbella town centre and Puerto Banus. The apartment has panoramic sea views from the 500 square feet of covered and uncovered south facing private terrace and with the proximity of the beach perfect for leisurely walks.

The marble ensuite comprises bath with power shower over, large double basins, marble vanity unit, WC and bidet. Access to the main terrace through full height glass patio doors. Broadband is offered, wired and wireless as a free service to our guests. Broadband is rare in rented apartments on the Costa del Sol as there has been a great shortage and a long waiting list.
Amenities and Golf: The beach at Los Monteros stretches for miles in both directions. It's sandy beaches and dunes make it safe for bathing. Over 20 golf courses including seven top class courses are minutes away including Rio Real, Santa Clara and Marbella. The Tennis Courts of The Royal Tennis Club at El Rosario are available to non members as is the Calahonda Raquets Club which also offers regular mix-ins or courts rented on an hourly basis. They have superb facilities including other racquet sports and gym. Parasailing on Los Monteros beach is now very popular in the evenings and is the most popular beach in the area for this activity. Many people come line fishing on the beach too.
Our complex has the most beautiful gardens I have seen on the Costa del Sol. The 5 swimming Pools and the gardens are kept in immaculate condition throughout the year. The safety aspect is also important, we have great staff who have been here for years. The property itself is built with first class materials and incorporate excellent appliances, so whether you want to eat out every day or really use the apartment as a home from home you will not be disappointed.
The location is perfect, only a few minutes drive to Marbella where you will find all the shops and restaurants to suit all tastes but at the same time you have the peace and quiet of rural life.
Definitely the pools and gardens and the extensive grounds were important when choosing our holiday home. The views out to sea can be spectacular as well as being surrounded by mountains. This fabulous oasis with it's peace and quiet was also another big consideration. We made a decision not to be more than 1 hour's drive away from an International Airport and the fact it is a gated community with excellent security, and easy access to a beautiful natural beach made up our minds this was the perfect place. Everywhere is within easy access, La Canada huge Shopping Mall with probably the best supermarket in the area along with all your shopping requirements is only a few minutes away. The advantage of being so close to Marbella it's fine dining and other activities made this the perfect spot.
We had a fantastic time on our holiday at Gran Bahia. The apartment is absolutely lovely and in a perfect location. Couldn't ask for a better holiday.

We can highly recommend this beautifully kept calm and relaxing apartment. We have visited and enjoyed the apartment several times and have never been disappointed. The owner is very easy to deal with and makes the process very easy and worry free. She communicates well and promptly. The owner also has a fantastic agent who manages the property and who is very knowledgeable, not only of the apartment, but is also extremely knowledgable of the area and can answer any questions you might have. She is always on hand and only too pleased to help should you need advice or assistance.
Gran Bahia is a most beautifully maintained and safe complex. The gardens are immaculate and within the complex you are spoiled with a choice of 5 swimming pools, and an abundance of loungers and parasols which are always available. To be honest there aren't enough superlatives to describe both apartment and complex. The owner has made the apartment homely and comfortable and you can't help but enjoy the magnificent view from the large sunny balcony. The apartment is also situated a short stroll to a beautiful sandy beach. There are so many places to visit from this location - not to mention fabulous shopping and choice of restaurants.
We love it here and have no hesitation in recommending this great apartment as it has the whole package.
The apartment was lovely with a great balcony to watch the sun go down. It was well furnished and equipped and only a 10min walk to the beach. We could walk to Marbella in 40 mins via the beach or in the other direction to wonderful beach restaurants. The supermarket and main highway were only a few minutes away by car and the apartment is only 45 drive from Malaga airport. There is also a good bus service between Malaga and Marbella. The gardens around the apartment were very tranquil and lovely to walk around - we picked some oranges off the trees and ate them for breakfast!

A well maintained, spotlessly clean and fully equipped apartment in a great location. There was nothing we found fault with and hope we can make a return trip one day.
The apartment is clean, large and comfortable, with delicate fragile economic furniture. The area is quite, convenient, safe, with good parking. The T.V. services have minimal number of channels. WiFi was adequate.
The nice lady who receives us was lovely but I doubt very much she could have been of any help in case of need.
I was surprised when the renter deduced for PayPal services and I was charged additionally because I paid in U.S. Dollars as I believe it was settled.
The renter to my surprise deducted all this later from my deposit money.
What was left of my deposit took more than 20 days to arrive and a couple of e-mails.
I signed a complicated and lengthily legal document and I believe all is legal, but in good faith I believe customers should be better informed.
I rented many properties from VRBO ha and this is the first time I find this type of uncomfortable issue.
We spent six weeks in this large and quiet unit located on the second floor of a building which is part of a gated, beautifully kept complex with several pools and surrounded by gardens. The apartment is just a five minute drive from the center of Marbella and a short walk to one the most beautiful long and sandy beaches of the Costa del Sol. There are several decent restaurants along the beach, near the condo.
The place is bright and clean and has recent amenities. The kitchen is spacious and very well equipped, even for a chef: great place for breakfast with a view of the mountains and the rising sun! The two bedrooms have comfortable beds with all the linen you need and each their own bathroom and balcony. The master bedroom shares with the living-room-dining room a large sunny patio which has a great view of the ocean and the gorgeous gardens. The apartment is ideal for two couples or a small family.
Barbara’s (the owner) information folder contains very detailed notes on the apartment and helpful tips on Marbella and its surroundings. Dealing with Barbara was also easy and pleasant.
For having spent several weeks previously on the Costa del Sol, we thoroughly enjoyed this apartment, the beach and Marbella. Thank you Barbara!
Located in a lovely quiet residential area overlooking the sea minutes walk from the Los Monteros unspoilt beach & only 5 minutes by car to Marbella where you can enjoy excellent shopping or wander through the tiny streets of the Old Town with it's exceptional restaurants and designer shops. Shady Orange Square surrounded by beautiful old buildings and orange trees is the perfect place to watch the world go by. Walk along our beach for a romantic lunch at La Cabane, enjoy an unbelievable buffet in a stunning setting. We are only 5 Minutes from the huge La Canada shopping Mall where you can find everything from food to clothes and cafes all under one roof. Visit Puerto Banus, 10 mins by car. See what fantastic boats are in Port and watch the beautiful people. For culture escape into the mountains and visit Casares one of the amazing little white villages. Stop for a drink at the Tapas Bar in the main square and watch the locals meet. Our beach at sunset is the perfect place.
