About Anne

We have a small family operation inside the gates of Yosemite National Park. I have lived and owned property in the park all my life. I know and love Yosemite. You can call me and I will answer all your questions. We hope you enjoy your stay.

Why Anne chose Yosemite National Park

We are located inside the gates of Yosemite National Park. Yosemite is a very large Park and driving from locations outside the park to Yosemite Valley can take an hour not including the wait time at the entrance station line.

Being inside the Park will make your vacation much more enjoyable.

Guestbook comments from the owner

Our party of three stayed at condo B202 in late October. We were very pleased with the process of booking and entry to the unit since it involved no keys that could be lost. The facility was very clean, it was equipped with anything you could possibly need, and there was sufficient convenient parking, including a "ten minute parking" spot for unloading luggage. The beds were very comfortable. The best thing, however, was the location. Henness Ridge Road is only about a half mile from the intersection with the road leading up to Glacier Point, which was our favorite sunset place for our trip, making it very convenient when coming back to the condo for the night. The rest of the attractions in the valley were only a short drive away as well, and a scenic drive at that.

Loved our two-night stay here!

  • 5 of 5

The owner was very helpful regarding what to expect and also with suggestions for gas and grocery spots when I asked her. It was about a 20-minute drive to either Glacier Point or Wawona, and about 30 minutes to the Yosemite Valley. We loved having two bathrooms. The kitchen and full-sized refrigerator/freezer allowed us to eat breakfasts and dinners there while we packed our own lunches for each day. One thing to note is that this unit is upstairs and the building has no elevators, so make sure you are able to carry all luggage and food up one flight of stairs. The good part about that is there is no one above you, so it is very quiet. The complex itself is also in a secluded, quiet area. On popular tourist days, leave around 7 am if you want to get a parking spot in the valley!

Cute, cozy, comfortable, well-decorated

  • 5 of 5

My friends and I stayed here for a weekend visit, and we loved this place! The place has lovely decorations and helpful labels on light switches, etc. With 6 of us staying there, we were worried about tripping over each other's bags, etc. all the time, but there's plenty of storage space. The first floor has a pantry that can double as a walk-in closet (the fridge is in there too), and the loft has a private closet area where we kept our bags, etc. The kitchen had everything we needed to put our meals together quickly.

The heating took a little getting used to. The fireplace (controlled by a thermostat) is the main heat source, so heat distribution around the cabin isn't ideal. However, it was below freezing at night during our visit, but we couldn't complain about being cold at all! The fireplace was so cozy and warmed the place right up.

The only improvement we can think of is the upstairs bathroom was low on soap and shampoo when we arrived. It was only a 2-night stay, so we just transferred some from the downstairs bathroom, but it would have been nice if there were some refills in the bathroom cupboard.

Aside from that, we loved staying there and would love to visit again sometime soon!

Fantastic location with all of the essentials for a comfortable stay!

  • 5 of 5

Wonderful spot for a spontaneous couples trip. Fit 4 adults comfortably. Perfect little kitchen for making you're own meals. Fantastic location in Yosemite West. We booked last minute and Anne was very helpful! All around perfect spot. Be advised both beds are in the same room, so maybe make sure you all know each other well enough ;-)

Fireplace not functional

  • 2 of 5

Unit is clean and beds are comfortable - but the fireplace/heat source was not functioning and our October weekend was rainy and cold - would have loved to have the fireplace working. Same problem in previous review happened in Oct 2015. Hair dryer also not working. Would not rent again.

Owner's Response: Once this guest informed me the fireplace did not turn on, I had the pilot light lit and it works perfectly now. I am so sorry they did not have use of it and had I been informed sooner they would have. We are very concerned about our guests having a relaxing and enjoyable stay. Their previous stay was with a different rental company.

Great Location, well maintained property.

  • 4 of 5

Upon arriving at the condo, we were pleased to find that our accommodations were more than adequate for six adults. As there were two beds in the loft, which comfortably accommodated two couples. Overall, the condo accommodated three couples, and the small kitchenette allowed us to cook a nice meal after a long day of hiking.

If you have a smaller family and want to cook your own meals at the cost of spending more on gas to drive into the valley, I would recommend it over other options in the valley such as camp curry, if you are faced with a situation where those options are booked.

Conveniently located

  • 4 of 5

This unit is conveniently located within the park. The unit is small but ideal for a family of 4. The building is a bit dated and is built like an old motel but otherwise in good condition.

When we arrived the password to the WiFi was missing (apparently previous renter had removed the information booklet). So we couldn't access internet for a day. Moreover, since there was no cell reception (as is common in Yosemite), we couldn't contact the owner until the next day to obtain the password.

The fireplace was not functional which was not a big issue in October but could make for an uncomfortable stay in winter.
