About Allison Paquet

I have lived here in Marquette since 1987 and in this home since 1988...the remodel has been a labor of love, my children have all grown up here as well...I live in the apartment upstairs with my pets...

Allison Paquet purchased this apartment in 1988

Why Allison Paquet chose Upper Peninsula Michigan

I always had the plan to rent my home when my children were grown...this is a lovely city and the location of the home is just blocks away from all that goes on in the city.

Faboulous place to stay while in Marquette!

  • 5 of 5

Allison has put her heart and soul into this house. The minute you walk in the place feels like home. It's nicely decorated very clean and well stocked with everything you need to cook with and even entertain. The backyard is perfect and has great patio furniture including a hammock. It was a great place to invite some of our daughters friends over for a barbecue. We will definitely book this again.

Sweet home away from home!

  • 5 of 5

We consider this to be our vacation home in Marquette, and it is perfect. It is clean, quiet, comfortable, and conveniently located near downtown. The space is efficiently designed to be roomy inside. It is nicely decorated. The kitchen is well stocked for cooking, with excellent appliances, pots and pans, glassware, and dishes. The dining room comfortably seats 6 to 8. The patio outside is well maintained with an available grill. The owner Allison, is very accommodating and makes the experience easy and fun.

Great stay in Marquette

  • 4 of 5

We spent about 9 days here while in Marquette to ski and enjoy the winter. We very much liked the location and the house. Fun and tasteful décor, very serviceable kitchen, great shower. Lamps to read by is an important criteria for us and this place gets an A for enough reading lamps. Walked to most places to eat and shop. The owner and her really cool dog, Oz, live upstairs, and despite having a broken ankle, Allison was a great host and we enjoyed getting to know her (and Oz). My only request would be for dark shades/curtains in the bedroom to block out the street light (otherwise I would have given it 5 stars).

Exceeded our expectations!

  • 5 of 5

We loved this place. We were looking for a rental with a big kitchen and dining area and were not disappointed here. The kitchen was beautifully equipped with everything I could ask for to complete family-sized meals and the dining room had plenty of seating. We were able to grill steaks outside for our Christmas Eve dinner. The entire home is remodeled and well maintained. Allison was great as a host/owner. The location is in an area of Marquette that we love to hang out in. We will return to this rental and would definitely recommend this property to family or friends.

An elegant and relaxing setting- Highly recommend

  • 4 of 5

These are a few of the attractions of this home:

-Beautiful courtyard outside of the elegant patio doors

-Pull out couch is comfortable with it's memory foam on it

-Bathroom shower is small but distinctive

-Kitchen is up to date in all ways with very nice dining room

-Location is near the Lake which was our focus in addition to being downtown.

Would definately stay there again
