About the property

This penthouse apartment has a contemporary decoration. It is well illuminated, comfortable, and ideally located in the historic heart of the city in the central building of the Palais des Pyrenees on a large pedestrian avenue. It is surrounded by restaurants and shops, 100 metres from the famous boulevard of Pyrenees, 5 minutes from the chateau. There is a reserved place in the municipal parking garage included in the price, located at the foot of the building. The Kitchen offer all the comforts: dishwasher, washing machine, dryer, microwave and conventional oven, large fridge with freezer with 3 drawers, and small appliances (coffee machine, toaster, kettle, pressure cooker). There are 2 sofas in the living room, a large screen TV, and a coffee table convertible to high table. You will find a 160 cm bed with comfortable mattress in the master bedroom, a TV, a computer desk with high-speed internet connection, and another smaller room with 2 single beds, a baby bed and duvets upon request. Bed linen, towels, and toiletries are provided. There is a 30-Euro security deposit, immediately returned after a revision of the place.

Great apartment

Great apartment in the centre of Pau. The apartment is spacious and well appointed for a great stay in Pau. There are plenty of good restaurants and shops within a short walk. The apartment was clean and has good natural light from the large windows. I wasn't aware of my neighbors at all during the stay, the block is very quiet. It made a great base for my cycling holiday in the Pyrenees.

The owner communicates well and any issues were quickly resolved.

Perfect Pau

This apartment is in the best location in the center of a pedestrian street with benches and shops. Free parking is steps away. Everything , the palace, the park, the museum the market and many many restaurants and shops were within walking distance . The apartment was spotless and the owner was always available if we had questions the apartment is very modern and efficient, perfect for a family with one or two children.The owner couldn't of been nicer and even gave her daughter who lives in Poe a ride home after she showed her the apartment . We were sad to leave and hope to return soon. We recommend this property highly and without reservation.

La quasi perfection

Cet appartement est extrêmement bien équipée, très lumineux, excellente literie, parking(inclus) à proximité et en plein centre ville. Le top!!!

Un bémol cependant : le bruit surtout le Vendredi soir et le samedi soir car il y a des bars (étudiants) juste en dessous. Malgré les doubles vitrages ... Heureusement ils ferment à 2H du matin.

Owner's Response: Je dois préciser que pendant ce week end la ville était en fait et probablement plus bruyante que d'habitude, dans ce quartier des festivités. L'appartement est remarquablement situé au coeur de la ville touristique, l'immeuble est entouré de magasins et de restaurants. Il faut bien comprendre que pendant les week ends il y a d'avantage de mouvements que pendant la semaine mais jamais avec un bruit dérangeant. PAU est une ville gaie et vivante , nos locataires nous disent combien ils apprecient de pouvoir trouver sur place ces endroits de sorties aussi bien de jour que de soirée et de pouvoir se joindre aux visiteurs qu'ils soient palois ou vacanciers.

Séjour très agréable

Nous avons passé un agréable séjour dans ce bel appartement tout confort et très fonctionnel : tout est pensé et prévu pour que l'on ne manque de rien : outre tous les appareils ménagers, l'accès à Internet est très appréciable pour préparer ses sorties (je conseille le château de Pau, le petit train d'Artouste, les grottes de Bétharram, Lourdes, le zoo d'Asson ...).

De plus, l'appartement est très bien situé en plein centre ville avec tous les commerces à proximité dont une boulangerie juste en face mais qui dit centre ville dit peu de places pour se garer c'est pourquoi avoir une carte qui permet d'entrer et sortir du parking municipal quand bon vous semble est extrêmement appréciable.

Je recommande donc cette location à toute personne ayant envie de passer un agréable séjour dans la ville historique de Pau.

appartement moderne, bien décoré, très agréable, avec tout le confort souhaitable. Une situation, en plein centre ville, qui permet l'accès immédiat au bd des pyrénées, face à la chaîne des pyrénées. Proximité de la boulangerie et d'autres commerces. Accueil souriant et chaleureux.

Nous y revenons chaque année!

Location

If you're coming from the airport by car take highway 64. There are free shuttles to the entire city centre and the historic town of Pau. It is close to the vineyards of Jurancon and Madiran, 55 km way from Spain, and 50 km away from Lourdes. You can search it on the internet to discover many routes proposed around the mountains. Landaise beaches are 1h 15 min away. In addition, checkout the many programs for cultural activities and gastronomy in the city.
