Beautiful, modern and clean studio flat

This flat is within a residential development high on a hill above Cassis. It has been beautifully refurbished and is both clean and comfortable - including the sofa-bed which is no hassle to convert into a bed each evening. The photos accurately depict it's features and layout. The owner was very reliable as regards organising our rental and meeting us at the apartment, so everything was hassle-free in that respect too.

There is a beautiful, well maintained and relatively large swimming pool, though unfortunately there aren't any sun-loungers around it, which was disappointing. Sunning oneself on the balcony wasn't an option as the sun didn't reach it, and once seated in one of the ~"lounging" chairs, you cannot see down to the gardens below.

We had anticipated that the shuttle bus into town ran from the "Les Terraces" development itself, but instead it was at the bottom of a long steep hill, so you have to drive to it, unless very fit and motivated to climb back up. There is a parking spot just outside the town, but again at the top of a steep hill with a 6 or 7 min walk to the seafront.

A lovely place, but would not recommend to anyone with mobility problems.

Owner's Response: ADDITIONAL AMENITIES: • On the terrace, you will find several folding mattresses, as well as folding chairs/loungers for your use by the pool or in the garden. • The orientation of the apartment is southwest. The terrace is in full sun during the later part of afternoon. Therefore, in the summer, the apartment is particularly pleasant. TAKING ADVANTAGE OF THE ENVIRONS: To make the most of your vacation in the exquisite natural beauty found in Cassis and Provence, arranging for a rental car is strongly advised.

Perfect Place in Cassis

The condo is perfect is every way. Location is great, as it is close to Cassis and the autoroute. Other small towns like Carnoux are right near by as well.

It is furnished tastefully, the bed and choice of pillows makes for a great sleep. Kitchen is fully equiped, even has an espresso machine! The porch overlooking the pool and the lovely hills is a perfect place enjoy a meal or just a glass of wine. Bathroom is beautiful with two sinks and two types of showers. Everything is immaculately clean! The pool is a real treat as are the gardens the the walks around the hillside.

The best part is M. Noel himself. He is an extremely caring and solicitous host! Easy to reach and always ready to accommodate his guests. We would recommend this condo to family and freinds.

Ferienwohnung zum erholen

Hallo,

wir waren zu zweit Ende Juni für eine Woche in diesem Apartment. Der Eindruck von den Bildern hat sich bestätigt. Das Apartment ist sehr modern, hochwertig und liebevoll mit Bildern aus der Umgebung eingerichtet. Die Küche ist super ausgestattet und die Wohnanlage selbst ist wunderschön auf einer Anhöhe gelegen. Der Balkon bietet Blick zur Innenseite der Wohnanlage mit Pool und Aussicht auf die Berge im Hintergrund. Er  bietet ausreichend Platz für zwei Liegen oder Tisch für vier zum Essen. Am besten hat mir die Dusche gefallen mit Regenfunktion :-). Auf der Schlafcouch ließ es sich entgegen meiner Befürchtung sehr angenehm schlafen. Der Vermieter ist sehr freundlich, gibt eine umfassende Einführung und hat gute Tipps für Ausflüge und Restaurants.

Helles, modernes Studio oberhalb von Cassis

Das freundlich und modern eingerichtete Appartment liegt oberhalb von Cassis. Die Einrichtung entspricht genau den Abbildungen. Alles ist neu und hochwertig (Renovierung erfolgte vor 2 Jahren). Das Schlafsofa ist sehr funktionell und schnell umgebaut. Die Matratze ist wirklich komfortabel. Sehr schön eingerichteter Süd/West-Balkon mit Blick in den großen Garten und auf den Pool. Der Pool ist sehr groß und verfügt über eine Tiefe bis 2,90 m. Komfortabler Stellplatz für den PKW in der Tiefgarage (Zugang vom Stellplatz zur Wohnung könnte allerdings freundlicher gestaltet sein). Hinter den Spiegeln auf dem Foto verbirgt sich der Schrank mit vielen Unterbringungsmöglichkeiten und einem Safe. Auch im Küchenschrank war noch Platz für unsere Vorräte. So hatten wir die Wohnung immer aufgeräumt. Zu den Ausflugsmöglichkeiten bekamen wir von unserem Vermieter gute Tipps. In der Wohnung befanden sich eine DVD und ein Bildband sowie eine Wanderkarte über die Calanques sowie weitere Informationen. Eine Verständigung mit dem sehr netten und zuverlässigen Vermieter ist außer in Französisch auch in Englisch möglich (Vertragsabschluss und Schriftwechsel erfolgte in Englisch). Die Wohnung liegt optimal für Ausflüge in die Calanques, nach Marseille, in die Crête, nach Le Castellet, ... Gerne haben wir am Hafen von Cassis gesessen. Dort gibt es viele nette Restaurants zur Auswahl. Wir haben uns in der Wohnung sehr wohl gefühlt. Durch die verschachtelte Bauweise der Anlage war es in der Wohnung für uns sehr ruhig und erholsam. An Paare, die ohne Kinder aber mit PKW anreisen, können wir die Wohnung uneingeschränkt weiter empfehlen. Die eine Woche war für uns viel zu kurz und da wir noch nicht alles gesehen haben, kommen wir sehr gerne wieder.

Très agréable et fonctionnel

Nous avons passé une excellente semaine dans cet appartement lumineux, propre et très bien équipé.

L'environnement de la résidence est très agréable et calme.

La situation sur les hauteurs de Cassis nécessite une voiture (parking sécurisé)... ou des bons mollets pour remonter le pain le matin !

L'accueil est parfait, bien documenté, et agrémenté d'une bonne bouteille de vin de Cassis.

Nous y reviendrons pour finir de visiter les Calanques.
