Recently renovated large central london apartment with roof terrace, beautiful modern kitchen, big bathroom and fantastic large modern shower.

Family apartment with king size master bedroom, 2 large single beds and a large sofabed in the lounge.The flat is on 3 floors so there is privacy and quiet for everyone.

Sky Tv with 300 channels, free WiFI for internet and very warm in winter.

Very close to all of central london, 4 minutes walk to the Kennington Metro station . great for walking along the river Thames. 15 minutes walk form Big Ben.

Good Englaish pubs. cheap restaurants and Borough organic food market and an antique market is closeby.

Perfectly located, lovely flat for our week.

My daughter and I stayed for a week visit in London and had a fantastic time. The flat was very well-maintained and very clean, it met all of our needs. It was so nice to have a small market just around the corner, and easy to access kennington underground station which took us everywhere we wanted to go. Matthew was very helpful as we prepared to visit and quickly responded to several questions we had during our stay. We would most definitely return and would recommend it to others without hesitation.

GREAT location easy to get everywhere feels just like home

Matthew's apartment was fantastic. It comfortably fit myself and two friends. The apartment was in a great location, situated not too far from a subway station. The apartment has all the amenties we hoped for and communicating with the host was very easy.

Perfect Location. Perfect stay.

We have just returned from a 6 day holiday in this apartment. It has magnificent value for money being in central london cuts travelling costs drastically.

About the apartment: very clean and well equipped.

About the owner: I would like to thank Matthew and especially Irma for the excellent service that they have given us and the care that they took to make our holiday perfect.

Cozy, everything one needs

Pros: The space was clean and as advertised. The space is well located near Elephant and Castle and well within walking distance to the Kennington station. No more than 5 people should stay in this space, as the kitchen and common space will get tight. We had five and a baby in our party, we spent most of our day time touring, we cooked in the evening, and we never felt the need to have a bigger space. But it was close.

Cons: The environment surrounding the apartment space can be difficult. The intersection of Kennington Park Road and Kennington Lane is busy on workdays and currently there's construction work across Kennington Lane. Matthew has done an excellent job limiting the issue by installing double-pane windows in the bedrooms. This is a five star location if not for one issue. On the final night of our stay, the sushi restaurant that occupies the basement of the apartment decided to stain/paint their hardwood floors. The strong toxic fumes rose into the living space where we five (and a baby) started to fear that we would not wake up should we fall asleep. We turned on all the provided fans and slept with the windows open on a cool March evening and dealt with the sound of the Saturday night traffic and nightlife. I assume Matthew rents to the sushi restaurant downstairs. If so, the timing of this type of routine maintenance needs to be better managed and communicated.

"Everything was friendly ...

"Everything was friendly and smoothly run from the easy booking, the directions and the warm welcome. The flat was fantastic ! it was better than we expected, really beautiful.

The shower was very very good and the beds were extremely comfortable with great soft sheets.

The location was good for visiting all the sights, because the tube has easy access to St Pancras and all over central london.

We used the supermarket to buy our foods, and had some lovely cheap meals in the local restaurants, around £10 per head

Owner helped us with tourist ideas and the flat is very safe and secure so we were always comfortable.

My family will use this flat regularly as it is really close to Dublin.

We will also recommend it to family and friends...a best kept secret!"
