We bought this home as a vacation and golf retreat from the winter months of Minnesota. Enjoying the tranquility and quiet location of this home in the Hills is second to none while still being close to downtown Scottsdale and Phoenix areas for distinctive shopping, dining and golf.
Nadine Stoner purchased this house in 2008
House is great for entertaining and traveling with friends and family. There is plenty of space for everyone to enjoy there own thing or spend time together.
Thank you so much for allowing us to stay in your wonderful home!
We had planned a family get-together for months and enjoyed every aspect of our trip. The house was spacious and clean with many helpful amenities. The pool was a nice gathering spot and the temperature of the water was a refreshing retreat from the hot sun. The bedrooms, living spaces, and the kitchen were all top notch and many of our evenings were spent preparing dinners and spending great times together.
The house is in a great location and we enjoyed daytrips to the Grand Canyon, Scottsdale, Phoenix, and Fountain Hills.
We would totally do this again. We are left with great memories!!
The photos do not do this home justice. It is a beautiful home that is well equipped, in upscale quiet neighborhood, and beautiful views day and night. The outdoor living space at this home is abundant and nicely furnished. The pool area is landscaped beautifully which also provides privacy. Everything was just perfect during our stay. Looking forward to staying here again! Thanks for sharing your home with us Nadine.
We rented the home for a week and got married on the back patio with a small group of friends and family. The home was perfect for our special event. Everything about the home exceeded our hopes. You must sit out on the deck by the kitchen in the mornings and evenings to see the views of the mountains and desert. Walking the neighborhood each morning was a perfect way to start the day. Everything about this property is amazing. Thank you Stoners for letting your beautiful home be the backdrop for such a wonderful week for us!
We stayed here in mid-February with a group of 8 adults (ages 80, 75, and 50+). We were blessed with above-average temperatures which meant lots of sightseeing and excursions. We had 2 vehicles and the home was situated in an area that allowed us to do "clover-leaf tours".... Sedona, Tortilla Flat, Superstition Mountain range, 4-wheeler tours, Old Scottsdale.
The home was spacious & airy with a generous, well stocked kitchen. There was plenty of seating for sit-down meals and spaces to disappear to if you needed some quiet time. The pool area and waterfall feature was lovely area to unwind at after a day of sightseeing. Everyone raved about how comfortable the beds were... even the one's who slept in the single beds. The attached Casita was a quiet, private space for our parents to stay in. There's a Fry's grocery/wine store within a short drive so we had good meal options.
Michelle-concierge there to greet us and help us get settled in. She was easy to reach and prompt with answering any questions.
We gave this home 16 thumbs up!
We stayed at the Stoner house during Christmas and New Years with our extended family and loved it. The house is grander than the pictures make it look. We had a family of 9 there and never felt crowded. There was room for all of us to gather around the dinner table to eat or in the living room to visit. It was chilly while we were there, but we still enjoyed the pool and really enjoyed sitting out on the front deck. The views from the house were the highlight for me. There were beautiful views of (I think Red Mountain) and the desert cactus!
My family and I truly enjoyed this house. Between the patio and the pool, we didn't spend much time inside, but when we did, it was great as well. We would definitely go back in the future.
