Great villa within walking distance of Old Town
11 of us stayed, ranging from 12 to 71 years old. The villa was clean and very spacious and the swimming pool and pool table were a real hit with everyone! The Old Town was a 15 minute walk away and had a great selection of bars and restaurants. Kevin the owner very helpful throughout the process. I would definitely recommend and hope to return soon.
Property not well maintained - broken air conditioning and dishwasher -
Javea lovely place to stay - Property not well maintained - broken air conditioner and dishwasher - shower head and toilet roll holder broken. . Broken furniture dumped in garden . The property needs good overhaul . Maintenance company brought stand alone air conditioning units , but never came back to fix units as promised . Situation off villa good - quiet area and 10 mins walk to old town .
Spacious villa in beautiful surroundings
There were 10 of us and there was ample space. The outdoor area was great- lots of places to relax, socialise or dine. We all made lots of use of the pool and the lights were a great feature. The kitchen was a bit small; especially if there are a few people wanting to cook, however it was very manageable. All of the bedrooms were comfortable, as were the bathrooms.
The villa was very well resourced.
The views are gorgeous and the villa itself is located in a quiet, pretty area.
The owner was very quick to reply and see to a few issues we had.
A well maintained property with a pool that was ideal for our party of 8 adults & 2 young children. Sky TV, Internet & a variety of games provided to satisfy most of our family group. Location was about right to explore the Old Town and also stroll into the Port Area. Plenty of appliances, utensils, cutlery, dishes, crockery & glasses in the kitchen. Glorious views, day & night, over JAVEA. Hard to find a reason not to return.
Perfect for a family holiday
This property is nicely decorated, simple and clean. It has 5 bedrooms, 4 in the main house and a separate annex with a large bedroom. 4 of the bedrooms are ensuite, 1 has a bathroom nearby. They are simply furnished but be aware they have no curtains to block the light. The lounge is off the kitchen. Both are fairly small, but just about adequate. The kitchen has a cooker, microwave and dishwasher. The kitchen could do with more useful equipment, especially if catering for 10 or 12 people.
There is a lovely pool with patio area and sun loungers. Lots of steps down to the villa, so you need to be mobile. The pool has no fence, so you need to be careful with young children. Good fun playing table tennis and pool, but the pool table has seen better days.
You can walk to the old town which is nice with a good selection of restaurants.
We enjoyed our holiday and would recommend this villa, but it is not luxury.
With a reputation as a friendly family resort, Javea possesses a long and respected history. The landscape ranges from rugged mountains to sandy coastlines and many see Javea as the gem of the Costa Blanca's 200 mile sun-blessed coastline. Retaining its distinctly Spanish flavour the attractive old town, with its tapas bars, blend comfortably with the more modern seafront and its array of shops, bars and restaurants below. With its arches in local Tosca stone, black grills and large Gothic windows, Javea has a museum not far from the fortress church and an indoor market where fresh fruit, vegetables, fish and meat are sold. Golf courses are close to hand, and water sports nearby. Riding, tennis.... so much on offer! - The surrounding countryside is well worth exploring and a car in Spain is a necessity. The owners can arrange car hire for you if needed.
