|Minimum Stay||4 nights|
This cosy holiday apartment has a lovely veranda with a breathtaking view on the gulf. There is a fully equipped kitchenette with hand-painted tiles, a bathroom with shower and a small wardrobe room. Like all the apartments it has an electronic safe-box, double curtains and TV socket.
L'Ea di Lavru is a stone village in a modern medieval style, just a few minutes from the most enchanting beaches of the world. It is located in front of the astonishing vista of Tavolara island. This impressive rock, like an overhanging Dolomite peak, stands in emerald waters, floating between the dreaming colours of sky and sea. The architect has arranged the houses in groups of independent villas among small areas of Mediterranean scrub, delightful pink granite rocks and flowerbeds. From the living room and bedroom you step out upon large terraces at ground level as part of the garden. The atmosphere is enhanced by the scent of a thousand different bushes and trees - red, violet and orange bougainvilleas, giant daisies, and century-old wild olive trees. The outdoor paths resemble those of old medieval villages, although they have a modern touch, with natural materials like large golden paving-stones and fired bricks to form romantic paths.
Holiday Guide: A precious Holiday Guide written by the owner will be provided to the guests in order to enjoy the Sardinia experience at the best.
We spent a very pleasant two weeks in apartment n°1. It’s a wonderful place to chill out and the fact that we had two terraces meant that we could opt for sun or shade. The shady one looked out onto the pretty gardens and the rooftop one had a spectacular view over to the Isola Tavolara. The apartment itself was a testament to Flavio’s great love of architecture. His brochure was most useful, enabling us, amongst other things, to find beaches which would probably have remained hidden to us. We greatly appreciated the walk mapped out for us, from L’Ea di Lavru along the unspoilt local coastline. We must add that we would give 11 out of 10 for the cleanliness of the apartment and everything in it!
First of all I have to say that we are returning clients. It was our second year we spent our vacation in these apartments and hope we’ll keep on. What is so unique? The whole approach – starting from the marvelous position with tremendous views, beaches around, facilities, restaurants, etc., followed by unique architecture and design of the whole complex. The owner is fascinated by architecture and design and you could feel it in every element, being that a piece of furniture or a lamp or organization of a garden or whole planning, everything has a touch and a feeling being in its place. The whole complex consists of 11 apartments (villas), each possessing own features. This year we stayed in both “basic” type of apartments and “superior” ones. To be honest “basic” is already ok and very nice, however levelling up brings some extras like better view, larger rooms, etc. But to feel home during the vacation you need something more than a nice design and situation – you need some attention from the hosts and in this part here everything is on top level. You start with getting a special “hand-made” guide composed by the owner of the apartments with all the how-to advises one needs: beaches, restaurants, excursions, shops, etc. But it’s not all – you get a personal attention of Flavio (the owner) who helps you in building your vacation in the way you want – he makes reservation for you, gives advises and in general he’s a very nice person to meet and have a conversation about various things. In general the whole impression of staying in these apartments is like being home – everything is comfortable, nice clean and cozy. Definitely it’s one of the best places to stay on Sardinia and by all means worth to be recommended to your friends.
The accommodation was beautiful and clean, just as in the photos! Amazing views overlooking the bay. Flavio the host went above and beyond to make our stay special. He helped to advise on beaches to visit, good excursions and restaurants to eat at, all of which were delicious and really good value for money. He also booked all our restaurants and excursions which made the experience trouble free. We really couldn't fault the customer service he offered. We would recommend to all and will definitely be making a return visit.
We were welcomed by the host personally, but had already recieved a comprehensive info pack on the accommodation and area, with great references to best places to visit, explore and eat. The Accommodation is of a very high standard, beautifully designed with stunning views of Isola Tavolare and the coast line. The firm bed was extreamly comfortable and the whole split level appartment ( No 12) was spotlessly clean. It was only a 5 min walk into the village, with small, well stocked supermarket, bars, shops and restaurants. We made it to 6 different coves or beaches in our 6 days - as we explored by bike.Try to visit the Lagoon with Flamincos and other wild life - its fantastic.At the end of May, the weather was good ( 23 + degrees) but not too many tourists around. All restaurants were good with the exception of one called flintstones, were food was mediocre. Great place for Beach Holidays and exploring the area......
We recently spent a family holiday in Sardegna at L’Ea Di Lavru. The island itself does not need recommending however the apartment and the hospitality offered by the owner deserve a mention. The apartments are beautifully designed and unique, very comfortable offering easy access to local beaches and attractions. The owner is always on hand to make recommendations and offer tips to make your stay even more memorable and special. His knowledge of the area means he is able to cater to everyone‘s needs, tastes and budgets. Highly recommend it and hope to come back ourselves one day.
It was a 5 star holidays for us.
We stayed in the apartment 10. Great design, amazing view, you find all you need for comfortable stay! Bed and sofa beds are very comfortable, lovely bedding. Place was very clean.
The host Flavio was extremely welcome and helpful, we used his guide every day. Every day a new beach and new restaurant for evening meal!
I hope, we will be back again to explore more north of Sardinia and we will choose this place for stay, for sure!
This area was personally chosen by the owner for the fascinating scenery and the wonderful beaches in the surroundings, each one different from the other: rocky bays, sandy creeks and the Tahiti beach with white and pink sand and tropical colours. Along the cast you can spot several interesting restaurants and country inns where you can have typical Sardinian meals and any kind of Italian food. Around the area there are also all the facilities you might look for. You can choose among horse rides, cross-country driving, diving, sailing for small and big groups, and lots more.
