Antonio’s home from home apartment was a refreshing change from some of the little holes we have stayed in other resorts across Europe. The rooms are well proportioned, the open accommodation is homely and has a very well equipped kitchen, again unusual for a ski chalet. It also offers 2 bathrooms, both with very adequate showers and toilets.
It felt like a lot of effort had gone into this home and this is The experience you feel when you stay here. The front desk of the apartment complex is hosted by The lovely Loretta and her husband, I don’t speak any Italian but we got by with pigeon English/Italian and lots of gesticulating!! The check in and check out was very good and a Ski locker on the ground floor. You can ski out the back of the complex and onto the slopes at Cielo Alto. Really very good
You do need to be aware though that the location of the apartment is a proper trek uphill, we timed 30 minutes walking home from the village one night. So if you have a car great, if you don’t there’s a bus that runs regular up until 9pm or a short taxi ride might save your lungs!
There were 4 of us staying, I felt we could have easily accommodated 6 and it still not felt too cramped.
Great stay and service and good value for money, thank you Antonio
