About Antonia Deodato
I am a 70 year-old lady, mother of two children and grandma of two grandchildren of 4 years and 1 month. I was born and raised in Rome that I love and know very well and that continues to surprise me for her beauties day after day. I retired after 40 years of work at Procter & Gamble, where I worked with passion and fun in the human resources department. Now I enjoy managing this apartment, as well another in Spoleto inthe Umbrian region north of Rome, received by inheritance. I love to get to know other cultures and customs around the world. I'm a volunteer as clown in hospital. This is avery active activity both to attend at the hospital services and to continue in the growth of my clown path with monthly and stimulating traning sessions ... a world I'm discovering day after day and I'm very pleased with it. Antoher passion is cultivating olive trees in the beautiful town of Spoleto in Umbria, where I spend most of the summer with my brothers and sisters and where we produce the best extra virgin olive oil for fsmily and selected friends. Summing up in three words: Culture, Nature and Family Including Cooking! ... because I love cooking which I believe is sharing our love through the food in god company!
Antonia Deodato purchased this Apartment in 1934
Why Antonia Deodato chose Municipio I
This holiday home has been a family home for generations. When I received it in the 1990's, it was basically occupied by my mother-in-law. After her death and after my retirement I wanted to use it to rent it to people who wanted to know Rome and feel at home. My family taught me the art of hospitality, so I try to combine this art with my passion for discovering new cultures, and knowing people from all over the world, also getting an income that helps me manage the property better that I will leave to my two children.

The apartment was fine, although the neighborhood is very busy, and right next door to a 24 Hour market.
Thank you for taking your time to make a review, I really appreciate.
Living in the city center at walking distance from main sightseeing might have a black side of the medal for few and good sides for others. So I might well understand your personal point of view. Thank you for sharing your point of view for future guests.
Location, locations, locations.
Worked well for us and got us very familiar with Rome quickly.
Great to know and thanks again for taking so much care of my property. Great to have met you :-) enjoy your life
Best location to walk to all major sights. Lovely atmosphere around. Owner so very helpful.
Thank you for your nice words., I was so happy having had such nice people.T
A little bit of histroic Rome!
This place is amazing! It is located in an older building the heart of the Trevi district near shops and restaurants. The apartment itself has great charm and old historic features. Additionally all the tall windows and balcony doors allow for a lot of natural light.
Upon arrival Antonia had a friend meet us because she was out of town. Communication and getting access to the apartment was seamless. Because it was our honeymoon Antonia even presented with a nice bottle of prosecco!
The place had a nice washer which worked out perfect because we had been traveling for a few weeks and need to do laundry. Additionally, there is a 24/7 market a few steps away where you can get wine, parma ham, vegetables, etc. Cabs are easily accessible as well.
As stated in the description the apartment is located on the second story so you do have to carry you luggage upstairs, but this is a minor thing once you realize the great location and how cozy the apartment is.
We will definitely stay here again when we are in Rome!
Thank you for your nice feedback. I am happy your honeymoon has great memories of Rome in my apartment too. Hope to see you next time you are visiting Rome.
Great location!! Close to everything a tourist in Rome wants to see! Great restaurants and wine bars in the area too! Overall a great spot in Rome to spend a few days! Appreciate the hospitality!
Thank you, Kelly, for your appreciation. Happy you enjoyed your stay :-)
Incredible location, lovely apartment
Cannot beat this location. Antonia is a wonderful host. Had one minor issue and it was handled immediately. Very charming apartment.
it has been a pleasure hosting you and I really appreciate your patience while I was fixing the flush. It might happen from time to time unfrortunately but luckily we did soon.
Have a great time and enjoy your life.
